It is always a pleasure to attend the serpentine Gallery, the paintings are always interesting and when your legs are tired you can have some cake and coffee in cafe, the staff in the gallery and coffee shop are always very nice.

The Serpentine Gallery is a beautiful and small gallery housed in one of the most beautiful parks in London; they have free and regular exhibitions; and although some of them are not to everyone s taste; they have certainly showcased very important artists in the last few years including Paula Rego, Damian Hirst, Jeff Koons, Andy Wharhool and others.

It's great to see The Serpentine Gallery open again! The current exhibition is really great. I can strongly recommend it. The safety measures are working really well and capacity is well monitored by the staff. Special thanks to that handsome and knowledgeable Polish assistant who explained me a bit confusing video works and the AR APP.

Smallish exhibitions with lackluster artists. The curators are either useless or stuck for money. Such a well positioned venue but sadly dull exhibitions and is plagued by highly fashionable London folk taking selfies and pics of the work so you stand queuing to either look or take a photo. Sorry it's a depressing place for so many reasons. If you can avoid the weekends you'll have a better experience but don't get your hopes up.

Worth a visit if you happens to be at Hyde Park and have a few minutes to spare. Not much to see since it is a small gallery. The current exhibition is rather off beat for my taste. It looks like some kindergarten kids played with their crayons and paints.

Magical, love this place, if you are an architect you must go see it. I touch a flag that was not so father, but it was worth it. In the middle of the high park, I really liked how the environment participates in the pavilion scenography.

It's one of the must of the London art season. Always interesting, sometimes downright awesome, the summer pavilion of the Serpentine must be in the list of things to see of any lover of contemporary architecture.

I have been in the gallery many times and I love it but my surprise today was when I arrived with a friend and one of the member of the staff said that we are not allowed to get there with a small suitcase. We asked for the cloakroom and I was really surprised when I knew they don't have any. Their only solution was make the visit one by one and the other can wait outside with the suitcase. In a city like London I think that a cloakroom in a gallery as popular as the Serpentine is a must.

The quality of the experience depends on what is on display but given that entrance is free it's worth checking out once in a while. I've seen some provocative pieces here, like Hirst's animals in formaldehyde and probably the modern "work" I find most pertinent and hilarious: a few cans of Manzoni's merda d'artista. What's on offer is usually pretty boring - so it is luck of the draw!

There is always something good at the serpentine gallery. At the moment there is an exhibition on the London Mastaba (the barrels on the serpentine lake in Hyde Park). Very informative. Friendly staff....

The Serpentine Galleries are two contemporary art galleries in Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Central London. Comprising the Serpentine Gallery and the Serpentine Sackler Gallery, they are within five minutes' walk of each other, linked by the bridge over the Serpentine Lake from which the galleries get their names. Their exhibitions, architecture, education and public programmes attract up to 1.2 million visitors a year. Admission to both galleries is free.

I was not blown away by anything on display at either of the galleries. The main exhibit was a giant oil barrel arrangement in the Serpentine. Inside of the gallery, sketches and planning for it were on display. In the other gallery, some decent paintings were on display, but they seemed to be slight variations of the same thing. Also, there was a lot of empty space. Nothing really to draw you in, but if you're trying to kill 20 minutes stop by

The gallery was so different to any other I have been to. The staff were not amazingly friendly but that did add to the mysterious, modern and posh poshy atmosphere. Artwork was clever and interesting. They did love a barrel. A little more material about the work/artists would have been good (or just some labels for simple old me) but I didn't mind filling in the gaps with my imagination. The cafe outside with the rootiles and mirror was very hip never actually bought anything though. Overall, worth popping in!

Very well designed annual pavilion. Enjoyed. Bit annoyed to find that the small tea stall was closed one hour before exhibition closing time of 6pm. There was not much to pack either could have been done in 10 minutes.

A small publicly-funded gallery with a very strong international contemporary art programme. Don t let their size fool you - the shows pack a lot of punch. The new building is especially lovely, the amazing Zaha-Hadid designed cafe has good food and the bookshop is excellent - one of the best in London. Don t miss out on a back section of the shop with sale items.

Great bookshop, interesting if not always comprehensible artistic displays, peacefully diverting location in which the hubbub of the city is diminished somewhat, the Serpentine Gallery is one of those art spaces which always surprises it the way that it welcomes you.
