Food was great especially with the wine that it is paired with. The brussel sprouts are amazing. Loved the sauce it had over it. Also recommend that you have a reservation as this place got busy even on a Wednesday.

Had ordered the jambalaya and after about 2/3rd eaten I was chewing and bit down on a shell and thought I had broken a tooth. I showed the server and told her to tell the chef and I told manager on way out and I emailed the general manager Nicole and this happened on May 31 and have not heard anything from Coopers Hawk so apparently they do not care about customers.

I walked in there was 1 gentlemen assisting another customer. Two more employees who appeared to be doing inventory. And one female employee doing nothing but standing behind the cash register. When I went toward her she was quick to tell me someone else would help me. My question why can't you? The other people are busy. So once one of the gentlemen became free he was very polite and helpful and assisted me with my to go wine order. I really like Coopers Hawk. I just wish all the employees received the same customer service training.

Pretty good overall. Wine tasting was a great value and the service was solid Aaron was friendly and tried to give as much knowledge as possible.
The server at dinner was honest though I would have liked her to have come back to the table to refill water or ask if we wanted any cocktails. That s the only reason I didn t give a 5 Star.

Worst service at the tasting bar 2 times in a row. Will not go back to this location. My husband and I were out on a date. Went to the tasting bar (for our monthly tasting, we have been members for a few years) after waiting for a spot at the bar we finally found an opening. We watched a man and a woman walk by us multiple times with no acknowledgement for about 10minutes. Finally my husband spoke up and the woman stated she will be with us in a minute, but then went to chat with the girls directly next to us for another 5 min! After waiting for a total of 15minutes. At the wine bar with no service or attempt to serve us ( ie menu and glasses) we left. Again, this has happens to us on 2 separate occasions this year (2017). We always have good service when we go to the Coppers Hawk in Burr Ridge ( even at the Naperville, and Oak Lawn locations) and only went to the Orland location because it was closer to home, but now we would rather drive the extra distance to have better service.

The restaurant is very nice. Staff is very welcoming. They have a great selection of wines. I would recommend making a reservation prior to going there because they are always busy. If you want start off with a wine tasting while you are waiting for your reservation

The food was amazing and was delishous everything was made perfectly, but it was very cold they had the air conditioning around 50 degrees. But in the end it was a very nice experience I would definitely go here again.

The food was fabulous, the staff wasn't super attentive, but they were busy so, maybe that was why. Our waitress was very nice though. My mom loved it though and she was the birthday girl so that is all that matters. We all loved our food, I had risotto, my I'm had chicken something with lemon and capers and my sister had a French dip. All were AMAZING.

This is a nice place. I brought my family here for dinner which was good but an issue arose resulting in our food being served very late. Manager Dustin Klimczak stepped up to make us feel like he really cared about our dining experiance. I will definitely be returning soon. **** Bonus the gnocchi was the best I ever had ****

I have worked at coopers as a cook all around the kitchen and in the "front of the house" as well. Service was slow. We got sat and were given no silverware or water. Our server was double sat so can't blame her. Or at least I won't. We ordered our food and it took a while to get it. When we did get it, my wife got her order wrong. The manager took care of her food so we only paid for my food the sides and the appetizer. The food was good, the only thing that sucks about going to coopers is that since I know the fry station, broiler station and prep stations duties, what the plate should look like and what the recipes should taste like, I end up judging the food on my prior experience as a cook there.

So for everyone els the food is great and decently priced.

For the people that work in fine dinning restaurants and other restaurants similar to this one it's a good place to eat but stick around for the wine, it's way better.

Either way enjoy.

If you haven t been here, you need to check it out!! This place is nothing but amazing. I have never had a terrible time when coming here with friends or family!! I absolutely love their wine and the food is to die for!! Their staff team is amazing!!! If you haven t met Amy, one of their managers, you are missing out. She is so kind to not only the regulars that are there, but she and her staff always welcome the new customers with open arms. She is absolutely amazing!! I recommend this place to everyone!!!

I received awful carryout service today . (6-23-17) I ordered my food in advance over the phone . I arrived thirty minutes later to find out the order was not even put in the computer . It's a beautiful day so I'm patient because things happen . I sat outside and enjoyed the weather. The manager assured me my order would be perfect . The order comes out and it's missing my soup and my fries . At this point I'm livid but I have to say I didn't pay for the order and they gave me an extra soup . The problem is this is not the first time this has happened to me in carryout . They really need to revamp their carryout service !! I love their food but this problem needs to be addressed !!!

I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. I went this evening and the service is terrible. When we arrived at the table we asked for a tasting she told us that was not available but the table next to us (they were seated about 20 mins after us) were allowed to. Waited almost an hour for food, I had to ask the waitress when our food was arriving for us to receive our meal. I got the Dana Parmesan Chicken and the chicken was NOT cooked (the Mary mash potatoes were excellent). My friend ordered the jambalaya and her rice was over cooked and mushy. I AM DISAPPOINTED.

On April 29th I made reservations at Coppers Hawk ...

On April 29th I made reservations at Coppers Hawk in Orland Park for May 6 at 930pm for a party of 12 to celebrate my wife birthday. When my party arrived on May 6 we were told that our table was being prepared not once but twice. When my party was escorted to sit down the table had no silverware or plates setup which was not a problem. When the waitress came around my wife ordered 2 bottles of wine and a glass for every one at the table which equaled 12 people. The waitress politely went around the table and ID everyone at the table in order to verify ages. It took the waitress about 3-5 minutes per guest in the party to inspect not only the front of the Id's where all the identifying information that was needed to verify age but also she inspected the back of each ID which no one at my table didn't understand why, so once the waitress got finished my wife politely asked her what was the reason of the front and back inspection of the ID because everyone at the table was just trying to understand why but we didn't have a problem with her doing her job. After my wife asked her and she explained the protocol of Coopers Hawk we left it at that. By the time our bread came out which we still didn't have any silverware to eat with or cut the bread with and our glasses of water that received with no straws and when asked for some another waitress just came and sat them in the middle of the table for us to pass around amongst ourselves but my party didn't let that bother us we just wanted to enjoy a good meal. The manager came out to our table by the name of Nicole and also some other man with a earpiece in his ear that looked like security and told us that our services aren't welcomed here and that our reservation was cancelled. She said that we offended her waitress and that they have a 0 tolerance for such behavior and also said that her waitress was belittled by us and was in the back crying. I will tell you who was belittled my family and I we were escorted out as though we were savages and criminals we never received our wine and was treated very rudely. I was embarrassed I am a working woman and everybody that was in my party are working and tax paying citizens who didn't deserve such treatment. As a manager she didn't even come and discuss what had happened with me the person who the reservation name was in she just came to the table and said we had to leave. The other tables around us was in total shock because they said they couldn't believe how unprofessional they were. The manager also came to my table and said that when our party walked through the door we smelled of marijuana. If that was the case how come no one said anything to us as we sat there for and extra 15 minutes past our reservation. Why would you allow us to sit down and begin to order if that was an issue. I honestly felt as though we were racially profiled and sexually profiled because I am a african American lesbian. I have never been so embarrassed and for it to have been my wife's birthday dinner and when I told the manager that she had no kind of sympathy or regards of the situation. This occurrence has really baffled me and I am planning on taking further actions towards this downright assault.

I didn't want to write this review. My wife and I ...

I didn't want to write this review. My wife and I had a great dining experience within the restaurant, even being accommodated quickly when we arrived tardy on a busy Saturday evening. We enjoyed our meals. We really enjoyed our wine flight. Service was friendly. Everything was going right. Then we ordered dessert to go.

At home an hour later, we decided to dig into our slice of chocolate cake, which looked divine. I should have known something was off when my wife smelled the cake and was tentative. She took the first bite, and her face immediately soured. She then told me to taste without telling me why she made the face. I made the same face when I took a bite and was smacked in my taste buds with the unmistakable taste and crunch of a vidalia onion within the frosting. Even then, I tried to justify it, thinking maybe it was an intentional flavor combination, even double checking the ingredients on their menu.

Then I called into the restaurant and spoke to the night manager, Mr. Shakir. He was immediately apologetic for the significant mistake, asking if I could send pictures of the cake so that he could have this issue addressed in the kitchen so that it would never occur again. I complied, sending him an email with a photo attachment. He promised for us to be treated to another dining experience at the restaurant to make up for everything.

That was the last I heard from him. I waited over a week, but received no communication. Annoyed and fed up, I called into the restaurant again to inquire about my grievance and see if I somehow had missed something. I spoke to a different manager that let me know Mr. Shakir was present in the restaurant but assisting another customer. He was apologetic again, promising to notify Mr. Shakir and also follow up himself to make sure this was handled. He said I should receive a call from Member Services within 24 hours. Here I am 3 days later without an email or phone call.

Like I said, I didn't want to write this negative review because we did enjoy our evening at the restaurant and fully planned on making multiple future visits. But my experience has now been completely soured by this horrendously poor customer service. I was patient. I was not belligerent. But I don't see how anybody could expect me to return to the restaurant after being so forgotten. I was already appalled that someone might have cut a cake with an unclean knife, much less one with onions on it. You'd think they'd be tripping over themselves to make that right. That was what I thought, but clearly I thought wrong.

What a wonderful establishment! For an excellent experience start by booking a reservation. After you decide on a time arrive an hour early for an extra awesome tasting. If you want your tasting to be informative and low stress ask for Janet. She is beyond helpful and will steer you down a path of deliciousness.

Love the food. I've heard about Cooper's for over a year. I finally went with my co-workers and I loved it. I have been twice since then. I love the appetizers and the Margarita flavors. Good for a date also.

Outstanding service. Tables and area all sanitized, they even had a card on the table with a link code to tell you what they are doing. Patrons were spaced apart appropriately, and paper menus that were disposed of after we ordered. Not full menu yet, but enough of my favorites to ponder over before deciding on order. Server was well prepared and was masked our entire stay. Very friendly, very courteous, and personable. Food arrives hot, on time and was high quality.

Normally love it, but service has been pretty bad lately. Avoid take out. Waited an hour for our order because they now do tastings and gift card sales at the take out counter while your food sits and gets cold. Then when they finally got to us and checked the food it was missing all of the sides. They had to go make them. Another 20 minute wait. No apologies. No fresh food. Our sides weren't cooked thoroughly and the rest of our meal was ice cold.

Not all the food is good. U have to try, if u don't like u can ask for something different. The wine, deserts & treats are great! The birthday club is a nice perk. U get to eat free for your birthday. Overall it's a ok place to eat. I say go for the food but stay for the wine.

I had the pleasure of taking one of my coworkers to this place that has never been and she truly enjoyed. The entire experience was elevated because of our server Amanda. She was very friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. Made great suggestions for our meal and drinks and it was a wonderful experience.

Food is great, one of our favorite places. The mandatory free valet is more of a hassle than its worth but I guess I appreciate the effort. Not a big winner drinker but they have a large selection.

Slow service. Understaffed. Unorganized. Not enough parking. If you are a chain establishment generating this much business the management team should look to serve its customers better. Sadly a case of a virtual monopoly over an establishment in desperate need of competition. Go at lunch and do yourself and don't deal with the poor customer service of the dinner crowd.

I was expecting some amazing food from this restaurant, based on the reviews, and I have to say, man, I wasn't disappointed. The combination of flavor that the chef creates was wonderful and stunning. Overall, super good eating experience at this place. I can't wait to get back in there and try something different!

This was a great experience. The waitress, very talented, however service technosphere is incongruent with price point for customer experience; old fries and debris under tables; peripheral staff should not make conversations not about service, food took a little long and apps were poorly prepared. My advice to make this place better: better lighting, professional training (perhaps a a Hyatt retiree) and anytime the price point is expected to be $125.00 per couple cold serving ice water and warm bread to @ table is mandatory. Here there is a wealth of potential, very attractive concept. Hopefully CH will survive the novelty and excel to a classic venue. Quality is attained not by skimping on bread and ice water glass services and chatty batty-eyed bussmen - quite the opposite.
