A great place, like the whole Hyde Park! A variety of exhibitions are held regularly. Artists, sculpture, etc. There is a cafe. After a long walk around Hyde Park, you can relax. There is a pond, tennis courts, a bowl playing field, street simulators, a children's playground, a tennis cafe, and a tennis shop nearby. In general - a great place!

The Serpentine summer pavilion is one of my favourite places to visit during the summer months. Each year a different architect is chosen to create a temporary sculpture. Every year the different creative interpretations to the space are fantastic to see.

Limited space here an irrelevance as the ongoing inspired curation never ceases to deliver and delight in a measured dose. The annual summer pavilion an eagerly anticipated event.
Essential London summer outing.

This is an amazing place set in the wonderful hyde park. You can enjoy the beautiful surroundings and nature before you even see the gallery. Once there you see the grade 2 listed building housing the art.

Amazing exhibition but terrible service at the restaurant. We had to call the waitress to take our order after waiting for 20 min. Then we ordered 3 teas and they brought only 2. after another 20 min of waiting they came back with a random piece of cake that we didn't order. The service was rude, disorganized and slow.

Great spot in surrounding green parks around. Useful personnel that always happy to help. It's free to enter and also that's great use of toilet as it's one of few in this area only. Those are high standard and hygienic, highly recommend that centre.

Attended the exhibition of Faith Ringgald's oft credited work which was well worth the visit. This artists work is fascinating, powerful and continues to have resonance, in our times Recommend going back on a weekday when perhaps not quite so crowded. Staff friendly and awesome that there is no charge at this gallery. Contributions should be encouraged and are welcomed.

We went to see the Grace Wales Bonner exhibition. It was really popular and our 3pm group had to be spilt into 2. Our gallery guide was really knowledgeable , a likeable American young lady, clearly very passionate about her job. The exhibition was great.

Cool.

One of my favourite galleries, usually specialising on one artist. Love the setting in Hyde Park and unlike most art spaces you really can take a quick look around and not feel like you've missed half of what's on show.

The Serpentine Galleries are two contemporary art galleries in Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park, Central London. Comprising the Serpentine Gallery and the Serpentine Sackler Gallery, they are within five minutes' walk of each other, linked by the bridge over the Serpentine Lake from which the galleries get their names. Their exhibitions, architecture, education and public programmes attract up to 1.2 million visitors a year. Admission to both galleries is free.

An intresting introspection in abstract art in the middle of the beautiful nature of Kensington Gardens or Hyde Park. A modern building with a friendly and pleasant staff. Unfortunately I do not understand too much of modern art but i discoverd that most of people , if not everybody does not understand.

It s wonderful to have an arts gallery inside the Park and it s a spot I would go whenever I tour to London. The exhibition gallery is not very large, I don t quite like the video arts display this time. They will commission an outdoor art installation in summer time. I remember the installations usually were of pretty large scale. This year, the installation by Korean artist Lee Ufan (I visited his works in Naoshima which are very amazing) is rather small and not impactful.

I enjoyed browsing and shopping in their bookshop and bought several items there.

Wow..

Terrific

I discovered this gallery on a summer's day in Hyde Park when I was looking for bathroom. Inside I found a pretty cool gallery space. They host interesting exhibits and change things around often to keep things fresh. Visit in summer as they host an annual competition for the design of their gazebo.

Serpentine is an art gallery located inside Kensington Gardens. There's an ever changing program of exhibitions. On the day that I visited. it happened to be an exhibition of "art" by Emma Kunz.I kid you not, her art is described as her gifts of telepathy, prophesy and healing using pendulum assisted drawings to answer her questions of philosophical and other esoteric questions. Total waste of time. Looked like something drawn by a child using Spirograph Cyclex Drawing Tool.

Had the exhibition not been free, I'd been really angry.

Nice

A great way to spend part of your day if you ever find yourself in the middle of Hyde Park. The exhibitions are always inspiring, and always keeping things fresh. The annual competition to create a gazebo for the garden space, always produces a marvel of design and engineering worth taking the time to visit. Best of all you can just pop in when ever you want without worrying about the price of entry. Its free!
