It's ok but there not that much to choose from, and some things are very limited as for choice of alternative items.

The information desk assistant was helpful and directed me to the section of the store I wanted. An assistant in the cutlery and dinnerware section, whose name was Joseph was particularly pleasant and helpful when I was choosing the items I bought. Finally when we were leaving the store a security woman held open the door for us. A pleasant experience.

Amazing shop but stop changing the departments around...was going round in circles looking for particular designers

Best designer goods, all in one place. Great atmosphere, lovely staff. Clean & luxurious environment.

Great if you like salt beef, pastrami sandwiches etc. The portions are enormous. Since the revamp you don't get to see the carver creating a masterpiece of a sandwich, full of beefy delight. The food is brought to your table. The place is usually packed at lunch time. They do sell a couple of nice beers now.

Love the store will always try and visit but mostly way out of my price range.

Always busy chaotic and slightly mad on weekends but quieter and more enjoyable in the week. Always a great stop for clothes & shoes (Shoe Gallery) as well as general homewares and groceries. I've bought several gifts here but the baby gifts are especially cute, as they can embroider or engrave them especially (given enough time).

Visited today with my daughter - left waiting over 15 minutes for an assistant to return with our requested shoe size/style with no explanation for the delay. Finally left and made my purchase at Harrods.
Exceptionally poor service and not a store I would recommend or return to - very disappointing experience .

Great customer service across all departments. You are guaranteed to find everything and anything here. Though it can get quite rowdy and busy, you could easily feel lost and overwhelmed if you aren't sure of what you're looking for or the location of what you're searching for.

Just a massive tourist shop. Awful experience of being barged out the way by arrogant foreign shoppers. Can't see what all the fuss is about.

This is a place to treat yourself. From high end brands like gucci and prada, to highly rated street brands like throwback. This is a place for everyone.

Out of this world department store. Every designer brand under the sun. Spectacular decor with immaculate displays and products. A must visit for the shopaholic while in London.

Unlike the store that starts with an H and rhymes with farrods the staff here are genuinely helpful, and allowed to be themselves.

This is probably because the Selfridge's staff aren't forced to pretend they are too posh to help anyone that doesn't enter with a full entourage accompanied by armed task force.

Found most of the things I needed, staff can be a little snobbish at times but all in all, good service

Best service, the people are usually super friendly and it is a shop for all ages. For young people and also for elderish people. In fact. it s the best shoppingcenter in London! They really have everything and it s always tydied up& all that stuff. Great!

We always have to visit this place before going around London grabbing a coffee or buy some clothes or perfumes

Nice on average expensive (Harrods is unapproachable) and with a plan dedicated to the most disparate food. Absolutely to visit. Same review as Marks & Spencers.

If you're looking for, well... anything, this is your stop. This massive department store had more departments than you can imagine. Grab a TV, then pick up a pair of designer shoes, and then add some Nespresso coffee and a box of tea for good measure... you get the point. It's also a great place just to see and people watch even if you're not looking to shop. The restaurant/food area is not to be missed because it's not only good but you'll be hungry after all that walking.

For the price you pay, service should be impeccable. It is very bad and nobody could tell me where the baby clothes section was. Never going back .

Friendly and polite staff in the restaurant.
One person stood out for us, and that was Nicholas, your greeter on the door.
He made eye contact on the way in and a friendly hello. On our way out, he again spoke to us and was so friendly, we stopped to have a few minutes chat with him.
He is an asset to your store.
Only one thing bothered me and that was having bits of paper with perfume spray pushed under our noses when we first walk in, which happened at every perfume counter. Please be aware, some people are sensitive to strong scents and could have an adverse effect on them.

Messy and noisy. Awesome selection. Expect to find some really expensive and quite ugly designer stuff here.. but they also have a good selection of awesome jeans, shirts etc. from Eton, Diesel, Ralph Lauren etc.

Tourist sight a must for shopping get ready to become poor . High end designer and lovely atmosphere

All staff were helpful and approachable during my visit.

While undoubtedly they serve up a pretty decent sandwich here the order process was complicated, service was slow and in hindsight the sandwich I ordered was overpriced. I'm not in a hurry to eat here again.

Beautiful mall having all the designer and high end products.Mall has every thing to shop...Beautiful handwatches, beautiful flowers and also a special cheese section. I loved cupcakes from LOLA. And I enjoyed lovely afternoon tea. I opted for refreshing flower tea. Sandwitches and pastries were lovely too.

Posh and you could get a place in the welsh valleys for the price you pay for a watch. The food hall actually has a gluten free bakery.

How can Selfridges not be rated five stars?

So why rate? Just so that I can express thanks for great and inspiring service to Gianluca (MAC) and Ichrak (Shoes)!

All of the staff are really friendly and helpful, so a perfect shopping experience!

Not a fan of shopping normally but great place just to browse and buy quality goods. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Love the Food Hall. Good choice of electronics on lower ground floor.

Disappointing and unpolished manners! Level of service and competence of the staff is mildly said inadequate. The first impression is that they are not trained professionally to service their clients and are poorly informed about their merchandise. Their disengaged attitude gave me a feeling that I could not trust their word.
It is also almost impossible to reach a specific store on the phone despite the many staff working there!
I personally no longer feel like shopping from Selfridge's on Oxford Street, which I find it to be a pity since it is an iconic landmark in London.

Pretty much my idea of hell. Gaudy brands violently vomitted across a Milton Keynes inspired townscape. It's the futuristic, dystopian nightmare that Charlie Brooker couldn't be bothered to write

Great tea selection and a beautiful department store.

My favorite spot in london , the have ana amazing salon Hershesons for 30 pounds wash and dry book with faith she is great
They have an eyebrow shop , and the have a derma brand great facial there

This is a big shopping place, so a lot of choices, but it's VERY loud, and can take you hours to find what you need.

Fantastic had a birthday lunch Friday of chicken and avacardo at the sushi bar in inside the shop.

Oldest department store in town, you can find just about anything. I got some tea from their "exclusive line" and it wasn't worth it. The attention is excellent, specially in posh brands.
