Professional, caring and great doctors!! I ve seen them all!
I love this practice, everyone is friendly and warm and they care about the patients. I highly recommend SRB to every woman in need of OBGYN attention in any way. They are the best!
Dr Sekine and the staff are always very friendly. They answer all my questions and are very helpful in making the best decisions. They are all very knowledgeable
Dr. Brock is an amazing physician. She is attentive, caring, and patient. Dr. Brock worked efficiently and diligently to ensure I delivered within a safe timeframe as I approached my due date. She is a strong advocate for her patients, and for that, I am forever grateful!
I have be seeing Dr. Sekine for many, many years. I love the ability to schedule my annual GYN appointment & my 3-D mammogram at the same time and location. He and his staff are always professional and pleasant.
I have been with Dr. Rasner for 15 years now and would recommend him to anyone. The staff always seem to care about their patients and Dr. Rasner always takes the time to really get know his patients.
I love Dr. Brock. She is very personable and the sweetest. I have been seeing her for about 15 years. The office is very professional and helpful.
I have been coming here for routine OB appointments. Staff is great, doctors are friendly. The wait times could be better even though I get there early or on time. The ultrasound tech is always friendly and on time it s the time waiting between the ultrasound and dr. visit that have been longer than normal. I m still early in my pregnancy so they don t even look at me down there, only once did they use a Doppler to check the heart rate because I didn t have an ultrasound that day. My doctors visits are mainly us talking which I never have any questions/ concerns the past 5 appts now they ve told me everything is progressing and going smoothly, so I find it pointless to have a 5 minute appointment with the doctor but I d been there for an hour.
The very last time I went I waited so long it thought they forgot about me!
I love Dr. Sekine he is like family and he delivered my now 21 year old. He has always been very professional answers all my questions even though I may not have liked his response, I would still drive a thousand miles to see him .
Dr. Brock is amazing! She takes care of her patients to the point where you feel like you are part of her family or a friend of hers. Dr. Brock answered all of my questions and I never felt like I was in the dark about anything going on with my pregnancy.
Dr. Brock is a wonderful OB/GYN. I appreciate that she listens intently to my concerns. I never feel rushed during appointments.
Dr. Wilkes is so sweet. I am a new patient to her and she listened to my concerns and we have a plan moving forward. I didn't feel rushed or treated as "just another patient." I HIGHLY recommend her.
Outstanding visit for therapy and treatment. Very professional and safe clean environment.
Dr Brock is a Wonderful Doctor....professional, kind , personable and gentle....epitome of what a Doctor should be! I really couldn t be happier!!!
I don't know what is going on with the whole office. Have been calling for 2 weeks now to schedule an appointment .No one answering the phone, after the dile tone going straight to the voicemail.Have no choice but transfer to another gyn.
Dr. Wilkes while very professional is also very friendly makes me feel comfortable during exam
Dr. todd rasner is the best Dr I ever had , professional kind and very patient . He will go above and beyond for his patients.
Highly recommend this Dr to everyone I have been with him since I moved to jax 2.5 years ago and Im very happy I met him great place with very nice staff .
I would not want to go anywhere else. Dr Sekine actually waits in his office for to come in after exam and talk about any issues you could be having.
The doctors are great but be prepared to wait a long time after your scheduled appointment time, their scheduling is awful.
Always quick and efficient. Staff is super friendly. Dr. Rasner is very attentive and genuine.
Physicians and providers are good. However, the deplorable office staff and 4 HOUR long routine appointment times are unacceptable. They have no respect for patient's schedules, and actually tell you "if you don't like it don't come here". Simple enough, NF OBGYN is full of providers and staff who value their patients. I highly recommend ANY of their offices over SRB.
Dr. Sekine is always great! Very professional and thorough. Will be starting my daughter at the practice soon.
Love Dr Sekine real sweet and understanding provider
I had a wonderful experience with Dr. Rasner at this facility. It had been five years since I had last seen an OB (my last visit w/one had been a disaster) and I developed a problem shortly after an early term miscarriage. Stupidly, I tried to stall in getting the problem looked at, until waiting was no longer an option. I called several OB's around town and none would see me for a few weeks as I was a new patient. On most calls, I couldn't even get past the receptionist.
Not Dr. Rasner's office. I called and they were willing to see me the very next day. Unfortunately, the problem turned about to be bigger than just a routine miscarriage. Dr. Rasner was very kind and treated my condition with an urgency which was impressive. Here I was, a new patient that he didn't know from Adam, and he was treating me like I was his number one priority!
My care involved having to go and consult with another specialist. Instead of writing me off as the other doctor's problem, Dr. Rasner continued to consult and converse with the other doctor. He provided me with the diagnostic studies I needed to get a proper diagnosis and never made me feel like I was wasting his time. And the other doctor he recommended turned out to be just as incredible as he was. It was a comfort to know that his involvement didn't end with the writing of a referral.
The courtesy with which I was treated at the office was incredible. The staff was so kind and so considerate. It was one of the few times with a doctor that I felt like I really mattered as a person and not just a checklist of symptoms. I don't think a lot of doctors understand that kindness counts for an awful lot when you're going through something scary and unexpected.
I intend to return to Dr. Rasner for all of my future care. I am very grateful for the way he treated me. I highly recommend him to anyone who is in need of a patient and caring doctor.
Up until my last two visits, I would say everything was fine; I had 2 wellness check-ups, and I had an IUD insertion procedure (all covered by insurance). Due to a suggestion by my Endocrine doctor that my IUD was possibly causing my weight-retention issues, I made an appointment to get my IUD removed.
On the phone I was instructed that I should just, "speak" to Dr. Sekine; a 10 minute discussion about it, before I do this procedure. When I showed up, the nurse at the check-in asked me how I would be paying for the appointment-I was speechless. I was speaking to the doctor for 10 minutes-pay what?! $125.
Thankfully, I have an HSA account but that's still money that was taken from MY paychecks and pre-taxed.
Anyhow, I have that 10 minute conversation and the conclusion from Dr. Sekine was that the IUD doesn't cause weight-retention and instead I should pay $350 for the bloodwork testing for food sensitivities. I've been struggling with these issues for about 3 years now so I am desperate for answers. So I then made that appointment to get the blood drawn.
I'm now at a total of, $475, for those keeping track.
When I show-up at the office to get my blood drawn, I stop Dr. Sekine in the hallway and ask him how I would get my results; I did this in front of the nurse taking my blood. I bluntly ask him if it will be another "chat" costing me an additional, $125. He tells me that no, it will not.
Fast-forward 7wks later (not the 6 I was told it would take for results), I do not give the nurse at the front desk my credit card, I get my results, and I'm told that I needed to log into a portal online to get "pharma-grade" probiotics because I'm severely blocked. That will cost me in the ballpark of around $300 for shake powder, vitamins, and about 2wks worth of live cultures. What a giant scam. I've already spent $475, and I'm supposed to believe that basically, "magic live cultures and probiotics" are going to amazingly allow my body to shed the pounds? Mind you, I'm 5'1 and around 133lbs. I'm not morbidly obese by any stretch of the imagination, only about 20 very stubborn pounds. So, I'm sorry but I find this incredibly hard to believe, and after researching the products found on this website, there are literally no other places to get these items so there is no where to look up reviews or see results from others. How am I supposed to know if this is just another toilet to put $300+ into?!
Broke and upset, this still wasn't over.
Two more weeks later, I get an email saying I indeed owe Dr. Sekine that $125 for the most-recent office visit. I call the office, I get a voicemail, I tell them the Dr. Sekine told me that no, that visit was included, and I'm called back by a woman that is dumbfounded and tells me that she spoke to Dr. Sekine, and office visits are ALWAYS the same amount.
Speechless, and crying at this point, I'm so utterly upset that I was lied right to my face by Dr. Sekine, and I plead with them telling them that I cannot afford another $125 that was literally for 10 minutes! That's more than a therapist! I'm put on hold and the woman speaks to the office manager. I'm taken off-hold about 5 minutes later, and apparently the office manager says that they would knock-off half for the "miss-communication".
I'm not stupid, I know the conversation that I had with Dr. Sekine. I also did not appreciate being patronized, but, if I fought the claim with my credit card company, it would bounce-back to the office, it would then be sent to collections, and my credit would suffer immensely for $75. I work hard for my money, and my credit, so, unfortunately, I ate it. All, $550.
Bottomline, if the office manager was able to remove half of the costs (and especially if they spoke to the nurse that was present at the time I spoke directly with Dr. Sekine), they could have taken the entire amount off my record.
You're going to be placated to, and spoon-fed what you want to hear. I won't be suckered like that again, and I was utterly foolish not to get Dr. Sekine's words in writing.
I absolutely love Dr. Wilkes. I was new to the area and found her based on reviews. She truly listens to her patients and makes you feel comfortable asking questions. I am looking forward to her delivering my baby in a couple months.
I've been going to Dr. Brock for a long time and she is a great professional. I highly recommend SRB
I was reffered by a provider that I work for to this facility. I called to schedule an apt, the lady was very nice on the phone took down all of my information and scheduled me an apt , but I had to call her back once I found out what my stepdads DOB was as I couldn't remember the year since I am under his insurance. I called back the next day to give her the information and she stated that she already found everything and that I didnt need to worry about bringing anything but my id and copy of my ins card. So a week went pass and I went to my apt that was at 8am. I get there the lady gives me papers to fill out, as I am filling them out the lady calls me to the window to state that I had to pay them $230.00 before I can be seen. I informed her that I can pay 10% of my deductible as to that's what offices do bc they know that patients don't have that type of money to just come up with especially if you haven't told them before they came in for there appt. She then proceeds to say " we have to get everything up front, dont' you know your insurance, have you met your deductible?" I then stated that I did know how my insurance works and of course I haven't reached my deductible, no one has since it is the beginning of the year. She then proceeded to tell me that I couldn't be seen since I couldn't pay them $230 up front and no they couldn't bill me. WHAT TYPE OF OFFICE IS THIS!!!! You so worried about the money. I work in a doctors office and have been for 4 years and never have we turned anyone away for not paying they deductible on the spot. They pay 10% of the office visit and then the rest gets billed to the insurance and whatever the insurance does not cover the patient has to pay for (deductible/coinsurance). I informed the doctor that I work for what happened and She states she will never refer any patients to this office again. Just HORRIBLE. A waste of time and money, never will I recommend any of my friends/family/ nor coworkers to this office!!!! OH and I called the office manager 15 times and still haven't received a call back and its been a month
I have been seeing Rasner for about 2 1/2 years they delivered both of my kiddos and was supposed to deliver my 3rd baby. They canceled my appointment due to bad weather, I had two appointments already scheduled due to me being in my third trimester 35 weeks pregnant. I took off work early just for Amanda to call and tell me that they wouldn t see me due to my insurance I have been paying out of pocket for my appointments so it wasn t a big deal. I received a call saying for me to reschedule my missed appointments when doing so Normandy informed me that I have been discharged for a balance of 371.00 and missing two appointments. The 371.00 would have been paid the day of my appointment if Amanda didn t tell me I wouldn t be seen due to no insurance. Shannon and Amanda are awful rude ladies over the phone. They have great doctors just have rude staff..... I am disappointed in the office especially when my c-section has already been scheduled for March 11th now I have to race to find a new doctor.
Dr. Brock and her staff at SRB are prompt, professional and caring. I don't mind the 45 min drive to visit for my annual well woman check up.
I get quarterly hormone pellet insertion from Dr. Sekine. It is very quick and virtually painless. Been doing BHRT for several years and I m very happy with the results.
I have been going to Dr Brock for about 15 years. She recently delivered my first child and I had the absolute best experience. She is patient, listens to my concerns and goes above and beyond. The entire staff is always beyond welcoming and the on call nurses are very understanding of any questions that first time moms or regular patients might have! I have seen every doctor and truly feel comfortable with them all! Natasha the NP there is also amazing and I always enjoy seeing her.
DO NOT give these people your credit info, they WILL retroactively charge you and only tell you after the fact. Sekine is an absolute scammer and will lie to your face.
I just had my first appointment last month. It did take a while to see him, about a month out into scheduling, but I assumed due to covid-19, that would happen. I went in because I wanted a new form of birth control that my NP didn't offer. After the first exam, I was scheduled to come back a month later to get an IUD implanted. Everyone was nice and friendly and Dr. Rasner was wonderful. I didn't wait in the waiting room long, but I did have the first appointment of the day so that might be why. Overall a great experience.
Dr. Wilkes is awesome. She wanted a list of all my concerns and offered an immediate possible solution for my major concerns including steps to take immediately. She put my mind at ease after dealing with doctor after doctor not listening to me and just saying it happens to most women. I don't care about most women I'm concerned about me right now and my body. Dr.Wilkes wasn't pleased that I had to go through all of that and that to me was the ultimate care. She cares. When the time comes for my girls to go to an Obgyn she will be the doctor I send them to see.
If I could give a rating lower than 1 star I would.
On Tuesday I went to the emergency room due to heavy bleeding during my pregnancy. I am early on and the ER Doctor determined that I miscarried a twin, that the second baby has no heart beat and that She was calling my OBGYN to have me seen as soon as possible. She got ahold of them and they said to call to be scheduled Friday due to it being an emergency. I called three times and when finally someone reached back out to me I was told there was actually no space for me and to come in on July 5th (two weeks from now) and that if the issue persists to go back to the ER. If what issue persists?? A second miscarriage??? DO NOT go to this Doctors office if you want to be seen by a professional who cares for you.
Dr. Wilkes is awesome. I drive up from St Augustine and won't even consider trying to find someone closer. Staff is friendly and helpful. I never feel rushed and I leave feeling that I have been listened to and questions answered.
My experience with this practice is absolutely horrible. My very first appt, they call to reschedule. This happens 2 more times before I get extremely upset and speak with the office manager who works something out for the dr to call me instead. Each time they had to reschedule my appts, it s literally been 20 mins before I ve had to leave my house to go to the appt. I work and can not keep changing my time off requests. Once I did get an appt that didn t get canceled, I waited over an hour to see the dr. In a secondary waiting room. I need to have surgery and the surgery scheduler, Marcia, called me to advise how much it would be with insurance, payment plan etc etc, I advised I would speak to my husband about it and call her right back. It was literally maybe 15-20 minutes before I called her back and I left her a voice mail message because she did not answer. That was 12 days ago and I haven t heard back from her yet. I would choose a different practice. Not only are they not organized with scheduling, they process patients and are way too busy to give actual care. In my opinion, the surgery scheduler, Marcia is absolutely ridiculous if she can t even schedule a surgery or call people back.
Dr Wilkes is amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better person to be a part of the journey with! All of the doctors in this group are phenomenal !!!!!!
Dr. Wilkes while very professional is also very friendly makes me feel comfortable during exam
Doctor Brock is wonderful! She delivered both of my boys. She is the type of doctor who never makes you feel rushed. She will answer any questions you have and really cares about you as a patient! Truly a fantastic doctor!
I've been a patient of Dr. Sekine for over 20 years. He and his office staff have always been friendly and professional.
Doctors and staff were professional, kind, and thorough.
Dr. Kenneth Sekine has been my Doctor for nearly 26 years. He delivered my 22 year old daughter and she is now a client at SRB GYN as well.. He and his team are amazing at making their patients feel comfortable and they are extremely sensitive to our needs.
Friendly staff, but if you are on a time frame and have a scheduled appointment, I suggest you go elsewhere. Even with an appointment it will take them about 40 minutes to see you half of the time.
I absolutely love Dr Rasner. He has the best bedside manner and takes time to talk to patients and you never feel rushed. He makes each patient feel like they are valued. The office staff is friendly and it is MUCH easier than N. FL to get an appointment. The wait time can be longer because of the personalized service, but even if running late, he takes the time with you, so it's a trade off I don't mind.
Simply the BEST OBGYN in North Florida! The doctors, nurses, and staff at this office are very professional. The quality of service provided by the doctors and nurses are outstanding! Dr. Rasner is is an amazing doctor who is caring, skillful, and extremely knowledgeable. Doctor Wilkes is kind, attentive, and supportive. My experience with both of my pregnancies (including one emergency birth) was fabulous. The doctors were informative and care was given quickly and successfully. I have seen Dr. Rasner for over 20 years and I have never had a bad experience. I am so grateful for both Dr. Rasner and Dr. Wilkes! I am truly blessed to have them as doctors! Thank you for ALL that you do for each of your patients!
