When we downsized from a spacious country setting with a pristine well system to our now more urban condo, we moved with many concerns about our new dependence on a public water system. Although aware of the impressive strides achieved in this new location's public water safety, our concerns continued about the long-term effects of such as chlorine on health, especially considering our family cancer histories. Our personal research led to Secondhand Water Systems, Inc. where we have been impressed with the science of their system and their professional installation. But most of all we are delighted to now live worry-free about the safety of our drinking water.

Secondwind water has streamlined our water plant to run at the best efficiency ever. Thank you for all your guidance.

My husband recently stopped by Second Wind Water Systems to get a few replacement filters. The first thing he said was how nice Christine was. It looked like she was getting ready to leave- but when she saw him she went back inside to help him- he also noted the extra precautions she took with our current pandemic situation. This is not our first experience with their stellar customer service, every interaction has been helpful and friendly!

Second Wind gave me the piece of mind I was looking for. When my old system by another company kept failing RJ made sure he explained everything we did and did not need and was very transparent. No high pressure sales, just real honest hard working professionals. From start to finish each step was taken care of with personal touch too. System cost almost 1/2 of what other quotes were and maintenance will be 1/2 the work. Wish I called them years ago.

We had RJ come in to give us an estimate to replace our existing systems for hard water and high PH. The original systems were old, not working properly, and were costly to upkeep and service several times a year. RJ was professional, exceptionally knowledgeable and made it easy to understand all the information provided. After testing the water and explaining what each test result meant, RJ took the time to ask questions to make sure he understood exactly what we were looking for and to explain the different options available. In describing each option, he explained in great detail how each system worked, benefits of each system, and what type of maintenance would be required.
The quote for the work was extremely reasonable and within four days Secondwind Water Systems technicians were here to do the installation. They were efficient, polite and professional. It was nice to have labels included for the instructions on each system. They took the extra time to answer all my questions as well as walk through all the steps with me several times to make sure I completely understood every step and the importance of each. The only small glitch after the techs left was having a small leak in the pipe where the solder on the copper pipe did not completely take. I contacted Secondwind Water Systems and they immediately had someone here to fix the leak.
We have noticed a HUGE difference in our water immediately. We have had the system for several weeks now and we love it!

You just get better and better. You make me wish I had a water problem.

My new water softening system has been life-changing for my skin for my hair for my appliances and for my own peace of mind. RJ and the staff at Secondwind have been absolutely amazing from the initial phone call when I called to inquire about their systems to the professional and courteous techs that did the install , and right down to the two phone calls after the install making sure everything was OK. RJ made sure to visit post install to come over and teach me physically how to maintain the system properly so I can get as many years out of it as possible. With that said I have to mention that it is very easy and inexpensive to maintain . I never felt pressured or uncomfortable throughout this whole process. I have saved hundreds of dollars at the hairdressers and my hairdresser can vouch for that. If you were on the fence at all I 100% hands-down recommend Secondwind.

We had a service done on our water system today from Secondwind. Dave our service tech noticed our water tank was short circuiting. RJ our sales consultant came out as well to review our service and recommended Contoocook Well to come out and service our tank ASAP due to it being filled with water. We were able to get our tank replaced today (same day). Especially during this quick upcoming Holiday Season I would really like to Thank RJ, Dave and Mark from Contoocook Well for all of their help, knowledge and awesome customer service!!! I cannot say enough good things about my experience with everyone at this company. Honest and Friendly! Peggy was simply great, very professional and made sure I understood everything. They earned an A+. I love when I find a reputable company that I can recommend to my friends, family and clients!

When I first called I was pleased with the information I was given and felt confident in making a decision based on that information. Unfortunately, each time I spoke with someone I was given different information, much of it contradictory. Soon, I had a difficult time getting anyone to return my calls. I found other companies who could do the same thing Second Wind had originally agreed to for thousands less and with far better customer service. Not hearing from them turned out to be a blessing! Would definitely not recommend them based on my experience.

I was pleased with our initial installation of the Reverse Osmosis Purification system and have been please with the upgrade. I really like the techs who look after the system for me when filters need to be replaced and when I get the annual service. My dogs and I love it!!

Jesse was extremely professional and knowledge about water systems. He spent a good amount of time walking me through the different options that I had. Additionally, I felt comfortable in the buying experience.

We moved two doors down and across the street (in Wilton NH). Our old house had a Secondwind water system (17 yrs in place) for radon and I feared our new home would need one as well. We were in luck, no radon but we did face an iron and manganese (not great for laundry) problem.

I called Secondwind, they came out, tested and confirmed the original water analysis, gave us three system options and possible dates of install. My rep also came out (post install) for a follow-up.The system is pretty maintenance free and is functioning fantastically. We are very pleased with our decision.

Jessie is a true professional that stands by his work. I had a home water softer and an reverse osmosis system installed in less then a day. I couldn t be happyier with the installation, the products, or the support.

This company pushes all the right buttons: locally owned, friendly and competent service, excellent product, pricing and installation.

We had an old filter for iron in our well water and could no longer obtain parts for it. I called and was invited to bring in a sample. We brought it late in the day. The owner, Ms Fletcher, came to the lobby and asked a few questions and informed us we'd hear results that day. At five-forty (after closing hours) RJ Brown called and informed me that the test showed only excessive iron.

We were able to determine that a simple canister filter was all that was needed and that an on site evaluation was unnecessary. RJ called the next day and scheduled the installation for the following week

Kevin Brown arrived on schedule and really cleaned up the plumbing, resulting in a very functional installation, with valves capable of isolating the canister for easy changing of the filter.

A week or so later RJ called, asking if I wanted him to come to our home in Sanbornton to review how the system works and the procedure to change the filter. I was able to tell him that Kevin had already done so and that the system is much easier than the previous. Total price was lower than I had expected.

I recommend Secondwind Water Systems without reservation.

After 14 years of living in my home with multiple Kenmore water softeners, we decided to invest in a Secondwind water system, Kinetico Premier Series. We contacted Secondwind and R.J. came by to test our water and review our options. There was no charge for the water test and I learned more about my water in 5 minutes than I did in over 14 years. Over the next several days, we discussed several options with R.J. and our concerns about water pressure, quality and cost. R.J. was very responsive and informative.

I also heard great things about the Secondwind products and their customer service from my co-workers so it was an easy decision to move forward. The installation was flawless and we also decided to get the drinking water station in addition to the water softener. Later that night after the installation, I drank the water from my well for the first time in 14 years!

A few days later, R.J. came back to test the water and review the system. He instructed us on how to change the filter and add salt as needed. The installer also reviewed these items with us so hopefully we get it right.

I m very happy with the quality and support that we have received from Secondwind in such a short period of time. I highly recommend Secondwind and their products. I m glad that I listened to my co-workers.

Excellent company. Just perfect. Working with them since 2016. They installed an extensive water cleaning system (radon, softener and reverse osmosis) in our basement and serving it since. The installation was amazing. Very clean and very professional. No issues what so ever. I rarely write reviews, but they are exceptional for our state, hence would like to share.

We had an excellent experience with Secondwind and specifically with RJ Brown. RJ came to our home recently due to concerns about Manganese and Iron in our water. He examine our current water system, tested our water, and provided several options to address our situation. There was no "hard sell" and I appreciated the fact the we were able to develop a plan that started with a very economical solution. The resulting visit, by a Secondwind technician, to service our existing system went equally well. He examined the system and explained what he was doing to increase it's efficiency. Overall, I am very impressed with the customer service I was provided with and will continue to use them in the future.

My water filtration system was not performing. Secondwind came out and suggested a solution that was so much smaller. The installers did a great job, explained everything and I now have clean water. Very happy so far.

Terrific company to work with! Awesome products. We did lots of research and had 3 quotes before choosing Secondwind for our water softener and the K5 Reverse Osmosis system. Both systems are topnotch and have changed the livability in our house greatly. We worked with Nate Clark who was so professional, knowledgeable and kind. When he says to contact him with any questions at any point, it's clear he means it. They stand by their work and products. Truly couldn't recommend Secondwind more.

RJ Brown from Secondwind came to my house and evaluated the water; which had a nasty rotten egg odor. We already had a treatment system from another company which we weren't satisfied with. RJ gave us 2 choices. We decided on one and had it installed, and it works perfect. We are very happy!

We had a system that was at least 25 years old. It was replaced with a dual charging soft water system and filtration system. They came in and completed the change over from old to new in one day. The new pipe for the system is neat and beautiful. We are extremely happy with the work that was done.

SO far so good. I researched systems and chose this company two years ago. When I finally had the money to do it, it was well spent.

I have a good understanding of how it works, and the maintenance seems minimal for my part.

The water was full of iron and white crusty minerals and that became much softer instantly. The reverse osmosis system addition to the kitchen and ice maker was a plus for drinking, coffee, soup, and pet water. The water in my well was always germ free and smelled good, but it was just very hard due to iron and white scaly materials that cling to the glass.

Very helpful and a great water system...Wouldn't hesitate to recommend to family or friends. We had an older (non - Secondwind) system that eventually failed due to poor water. Secondwind provided outstanding customer service during the entire process.

Second Wind is definitely a company we will and have recommended. We had a water system from a different company that was not adequately handing our water problem and RJ made an excellent recommendation for a new water system that has corrected the problems that the other water system failed to achieve. The technicians that installed the system were friendly, knowledgeable and timely.

We had a multi-piece system installed by Secondwind- Water Softener, Neutralizer, Radon mitigation and an RO drinking water system. The installers were professional, polite, neat and very efficient. They took the time to explain how everything works and gave a basic primer on maintenance of the system.

We got a postcard in the mail from Secondwind and decided to give them a call. We'd been having difficulties with sediment in our well water and our current service provider proposed a very expensive solution that didn't seem to make sense. Getting a second opinion form Secondwind was the best thing we ever did. Their suggestion for a solution was much more affordable and did address the problem. So glad that we finally have a water company that we can trust and that gives outstanding service.
