I just wasted $8 on the May, 2019 edition of Seattle Met. I found nothing of interest in the entire magazine. Lots of advertising. Little to no substance.
The vacuum of space has more substance than this vapid periodical. Pages of ads sparsely intertwined with superficial tidbits masquerading as articles. Devoid of anything close to quality content or the semblance of thought. The wads of paper stuffed into airplane seatbacks are more informative and interesting. In fact I'd rather read the safety information pamphlet ad nauseum before I ever touch this dismal excuse for a publication. It doesn't even make good toilet paper. Way too scratchy. One cannot help but feel bad for the tree carcasses that were sacrificed during it's production.
Our school yearbook team has used this magazine as a reference to design. The photography is amazing and the stories are interesting.
