So far so good at this location! At the moment we entered the store the sale representative offered me a wheelchair seeing my mobility was low , for me that was was touching, she walked with me answering every question we had and suggesting options . I wish i had remembered her name,the only person ever to offer me help,none of the other sale representatives payed and attention,most will actually walk further away like i have a bad flu (MS is no fun ) That definitely made my day!

As always Art Van gave us excellent customer service. Our new spare bedroom set got delivered last Tuesday 12/10. Unfortunately the headboard was badly damaged. They left everything else and took the headboard with them. Art Van returned this past Monday 12/16 with a new headboard. They put everything together and the room looks great. Thanks Art Van for such quick and reliable customer service.

You never go wrong with Art Van furniture it s a good quality nice style you find what you look for and the sale persons are wonderful. The only problem about them is the delivery the way they deliver the furniture is either there s missing parts or some of the furniture s are not covered and they get dirty through the way, other than that there re good.

We purchased a living set from Christopher Stevens...

We purchased a living set from Christopher Stevens last month. When the not so friendly delivery driver brought in the chair, the bottom was ripped up. The driver assured me that a tech would call me for repair. (Repair on a brand new chair, mind you) Three weeks with nothing done so I called our salesperson, Christopher Stevens. He was rude and acted as if it was no big deal. Tried rushing me off the phone before saying he'll call the warehouse. Then he hung up! Never heard back. I realize it's the entire dust cover under the chair but it hangs out the front of the chair. The chair was $900! and shouldn't have any damage! We still have 3 rooms to furnish in our new home and will shop elsewhere now. Art Van has went to hell!

I took my parents to shop for mattress and after 2 hours being there they finally found the one they like and Salesman Wally said they didn t have it in stock and I clearly explained my parents situation they have no mattress now and if it takes longer I will go else were to purchase it!!!!!! he promised me no more than 2 weeks and gave me discount so I wait . I called art avn to see we re was my order they put me on hold and my sales person answered to tell me he would check and get back to me and gave me he s personal number to be accurate when the mattress would arrive Tuesday he send me a message mattress is in and it would take 1-2 days to be delivered and i waited 2 days and they said no it s not in stock I asked to speak Manager FADI seemed not to care or bother to address customer concern if you can t wait cancel it I m sorry but that s what I can do after what my parents went though 3 weeks wait and now we have to start all over Would not return nor recommend.

I will never buy a mattress from here. I went through 4 defective mattresses in a row. Each one sank within the first month of use. Even the delivery drivers were confused why they were picking up brand new ones.

Edit: Honestly, after going through the process 4 times with customer service already. I am just adding my experience from a few years ago.

Great! Salesman AJ & J. Perris were great, but they have very old computers and technology to work with on the showroom floors. I was surprised to notice I was able to find items faster on line then staff, and how slow & dated the process was for them to sell me what I wanted. Typically do not like to buy furniture on line until I can see the product, as they usually look different in photos, and come to your door with major assembly, or if damaged, you have to ship it back, big pain.

The delivery men, Ruben & Billy were very efficient, put every item together and removed all packaging. It was a major job going up 4 floors. Purchased many times from this store and people are wonderful but not sure if they are treated right or given the best sales tools, etc. to help their customers?

Service is so disgusting. I ordered an item but did not get the real one which one I ordered. Even the people are so liar who works in the store. Whenever you will go there they will tell u there is no delivery fee, no tax, but when u will get your receipt, then u could see how much tax they took in every single items.

My salesman Rich at Warren was great , my daughter and I was looking for a bedroom set for my granddaughter who is going into middle school and we wanted to give her a preteen bedroom instead of a kiddie bedroom. We were greeted , shared with him what we wanted he directed us and told us if we needed anything let him know, he saw us from a distance looking puzzled and came over to assist and with his helped we picked out a beautiful set , needed mattress set guided us to the next team, the delivery went flawless and the bedroom set is gorgeous, we love it.

I will definitely be going back to Art Van Warren and will be asking for Rich what a nice person he made buying furniture a great experience .

Rich Lisabeth Was fantastic.... my mother and I were shopping for her new condo , she had a Huge purchase to make .... He respected our space . So for that I made sure to grab him when we were ready to Order ! He was on top of his game and everything was done in a timely manner . He was transparent on Items and pricing !!!! This review is solely to call out Tim in the mattress department! That man is so knowledgeable, doesn t push unwanted items on you, extremely thorough, and kind kind kind! We re on our way home with our mattress so I can t speak to that yet, but if you need a mattress, ask for Tim!

Used to work here, how they treat staff is absolutely despicable. They treat their contract workers even worse, and you don't even want to know about the customers, but I'll tell you anyways: At customer pickup we were told to lie to customers directly, I've watched employees make horrid racist remarks and use foul language after guests have left and to guests directly. Art Van is like your AT&T level of evil, they do alot of cringe worthy things behind closed doors and make "donations" to "non-profits" to fix their image, these guys do not get the credit they deserve for being so God awful. (Nobody mentions about how all of their "kindness" is a tax write off) They purposely tell customers wrong pick up times to get you to shop there, I've never seen a company abuse affirmative action so much(black people who work here hate this place more than anywhere, trust me, ask a couple when the "managers" aren't around how they really feel) I worked here for a full year for customer pickup and to this day I don't think I've worked for a worse corporation... My furniture I bought from there BEFORE the recession was nice and maybe could barely still hold, but what they don't tell you is they now buy particle board furniture and rebrand it and sell it to you for a 250% inflation rate(mind you its not real wood and things like that, if you doubt anything I've said PLEASE fact check me.) If you read this all the way. PLEASE take your business to a company that deserves it, I won't even name drop a single competitor to assure you that anywhere you buy furniture from is better than here!

Sales person was not overbearing. He was super patient. We looked at all possibilities and help find a small recliner. Price was great and just overall a great experience. I would go back and I would recommend this location and sales person to anyone.

WE have been purchasing our furniture from Art Van since the 1980's and have never been dissatisfied.. They stand by their word, " If it isn't right they'll make it right." That's why I keep giving them my business. I've sent all of my family members there and they have been satisfied as well.

Had a great experience at Art Van. My design person was Robyn, she really knows how to put things together. Winston helped with writing up the the pieces we decided to purchase. And Brenda was extremely helpful at customer service. We will definitely be back for more furniture in the future. Delivery was flawless and on time.

Art Van is a big place with many different variations of furniture the decoration's are pleasing to look at they have dark and light colors for people of all taste's but when it comes to actually buying the stuff it kinda takes awhile to get to even buy it because of purchasing but when you get what ever you purchased for you will be happy.

Worked with Dean in the mattress department. He was super, and completely non-pushy. I would absolutely ask for him by name next time I have to buy furniture. I have shopped at this location before and they always have something nice that fits the budget. I also like that Art Van is a Michigan company, stocked with furniture that is usually made in the US, if not made locally in Michigan. Will definitely shop here again!

Outlet Store has wide variety of low priced furniture. Lot of sales people to help. Warren store is the HQ and warehouse. Spacious store with huge inventory. Detroit Sofa furniture comes in customizable configuration.

We recently purchased a couch, loveseat, end table...

We recently purchased a couch, loveseat, end tables, and lamps over two separate visits to the 14 Mile Rd. store. Dominick Straub was fantastic. He was helpful, but not the type of salesperson that makes you feel stalked. We had a very positive, and relaxed, experience in the store. We took the tables and lamps with us instead of having them delivered. Two of the tables were damaged when we opened the packaging, so we had to exchange them. The customer service on the phone was friendly, and they were able to coordinate the exchange of both tables so that the delivery personnel handled it for us (and we didn't have to go back to the store with the tables). We use the Art Van card in order to take advantage of 0% interest, and that was also an easy part of the process. Overall, we had a very positive shopping experience, and we are excited for our new furniture.

Paul helped us out and we walked out with a sectional that day. Had a little misunderstanding about the bill but Paul cleared up any of the confusion we had. As of right now we would recommend Art Van. We will see when the furniture gets delivered on Friday but am hopeful that it will be perfect.
