This is a good place. They load you up quick and they help you if you have questions about what soil to get, even if you are just a small customer to them. They maintain their gravel road with a grader blade, and you will find that their road is smoother to drive on than Silver Creek Road. There's an area on the way out where you can stop to check your load or cover with a tarp.
Purchased cedar mulch and compost last year. Quality product and great customer service!
Their in house fertilizer selection is amazing. Definately buy the Pansy Max, produces the biggest and best blooms my customers have ever had. Also, the bestcompost in town and the finest quality masonry sand you can find.

Good prices for good product. Try to find a lava sand and compost mix at a better price by cubic foot anywhere else and you will not find it. (My garden is proof of the quality of product.)
I really enjoy getting my dirt from silver Creek..where else can you get a entire bed full of dirt for 48$? How many 5-15$ home depo bags would it take to fill a bed? I'm telling you it's the place to go to save money!!!

This place is on point great service knew what I wanted and we're helpful with the delivery, prices for materials are very good a little high for the delivery charge I think. Because it was only a 7-8 mile drive from there to my home THE DELIVERY CHARGE for 8 cubic yards of Top soil was $80. Minimum is 5 yards.great service, I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

I made my first visit to Silver Creek materials in August to buy some mulch and fertilizer. I was helped by Kevin, he was very informative courteous and helpful. I really liked the products. Silver Creek Materials is close to my home so is convenient though I would drive much further for the great customer service provided by Kevin and the quality of the product. We are planning on returning soon for other materials.

I so appreciate the professionalism and helpfulness I find at Silver Creek Materials. My first visit to their location was a bit overwhelming as their operational space is HUGE!!!! But every employee was kind and helpful and patient. On delivery day, the drivers were on time and so helpful to deliver materials directly where I needed them. I cannot recommend them highly enough!

go to the retail office to find out where you need to unload your materials. Staff was real friendly. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes.
Now if my grand kids were asking my answer would be small details of the purpose it serves for disposal of materials that may be harmful. Other wise just haul water and drop it in a hole

Huge facility with very nice and helpful staff! I pulled in in my little car amongst multiple 18 wheelers. Everyone I encountered was so friendly! I just needed a couple of buckets of decomposed granite to fill in where some had washed away. They even filled the buckets for me!
This place is a landfill and on a Friday morning we were surrounded by big rigs hauling materials there. We had a SUV and a trailer and came to load up with mulch, but it seemed we were in the wrong place. After following the rigs down a dirt road we called the office and a woman told us to turn right at a stop sign. When we did it just seemed to lead us in the wrong direction so we turned around and went to a different place on Jacksboro hwy. Sorry, we will never be back to Silver Creek.

Silver Creek Materials is an incredible place! When you turn off of Silver Creek Road you will meander down a road and you might start thinking you are in the wrong place. Just keep going street and then up a hill and you will see the retail office. Every employee we met seems to take a lot of pride in their work and very helpful. The prices are a bargain and if you have served or currently serving in the military, law enforcement, etc. you will receive a considerable discount. We purchased their lava sand soil mix and their color enhanced mulch. Both products were perfect. If you are in the market for mulches or soils give the a try!

This is a landfill, a dirt yard, it's for belly jumpers and end dumpers. They will load card and trucks too. Warning: if you're hauling dry van material to deliver here, please be careful.
Until recently I liked this place they had good prices, I always threw the branches there, but the prices went up ridiculously ,, for throwing two cubic yards of trunk $ 75, just why I was doing it in a two-axle truck, it's ridiculous, I always bought all there for me small landcape business ,,,, no more

I never been there but today there was a debit transactions on my bank account from this store and somehow they allow to process it with my card without my card being there. be careful with this careless people. The only good thing about is i catches soon enough and now i dispute the charge
I drive from Paradise Texas to get Silver creek product. The ladies at the front have recently turned me onto the Bella product for landscaping and gardening beds. Do yourself a favor and make the trip and bring a truck or trailer. You will not be disappointed. Quality is top and I haven't found better pricing in the DFW for products by the yard.
I went with another company thats closer to my house, but I must say that the woman I spoke with was very knowledgeable and polite. Silver creek are good folks
This place is pretty amazing, and finding your way back to the retail area is a fun little adventure. Good quality/price and friendly folks. Highly recommend if you need gardening materials in bulk!
Got my decomposed granite for my driveway from this place for a good price. Their website has a calculator to see how much you need of their materials. Employees are very friendly, polite and helpful. All you do is show up to their front desk and ask what you want. They tell you were to go and they load your material. After they re done you go back to the front desk and pay. Fast and easy. Definitely recommend this place.
Top Soil is second to none, as well as their Select Fill. Competitive prices, and very knowledgable staff.
If you need dirt or anything dirtish, this is THE place to go. Just be warned, a yard of dirt is more than you think it is.

Been using Silver Creek for 10 years now... never a issue... till today... they decided to triple 3x of dump fees... then stated that they didn't like chips from my chipper truck, which makes no sense... they told me they are prepared to lose business.. Well I will take my business elsewhere... and I bought alot of mulch from them too..
According to Google, I've been here in March 2019 and March 2020. Makes sense since I'm planning to go again tomorrow. Helpful, friendly staff and a military discount are just the beginning. If you have little kids, let them ride along to pick up your stuff. All the big earth moving equipment is fun to watch. :-) The first year I bought Lava Sand Planting Mix. My plants grew like crazy. Last year I added a layer of Premium Soil Mix and don't feel like they did as well, but lots of factors like weather involved there, so not a real comparison. Tomorrow I'm getting more Lava Sand Mix.
