Expensive and uncomfortable. The worst thing about this (and other airports) is the absence of SEATS. You have to consume something to be able to have a decent decent seat in one of the cafes / restaurants while waiting to check-in. TACHE.

Instead of taxis, I recommend taking the TransVip, which are vans that travel to Santiago. In attendance will ask if it will be for boat alone or collective; choose the second option - 1/3 of the individual race. It is around 6000 pesos, while a taxi or solo race leaves for 20,000 pesos.

Being the main airport in Chile, I found it small and with little infrastructure. To leave the airport I suggest using the collective vans (Delphos for example). It comes out more affordable.

There are some confusing signs and bureaucracy could be better. The bathrooms are clean but in some missing coat hangers ... It is disgusting to have to leave your hand luggage on the floor.

The prices for food, parking and products offered here are quite expensive. It also has no connection to the subway or to the transantiago bus service. The only options to get here are by private vehicle, taxi, transfer or bus, all at high prices.

Main airport, large with good infrastructure. They should incorporate more personnel in migrations, since the queues that form are huge and a lot of time is wasted. Otherwise, all good.

In these moments, going to the airport is an adventure. To avoid bad times and rages, better go well ahead. The parking lots should not allow more people to enter when they are full, so no one would waste their time and they would not have to put stickers on the "badly stacked" ones.

When I went, they were enlarging it, I liked it a lot. Chileans very friendly !!

A long walk to baggage claim, and a lot of new construction underway.

Well selected songs that are played in the hallways. Cleanliness leaves a craving, lack of outlets to charge electronic gadgets such as cell phones and notebooks. However, the environment is well signposted and airy. It has free Wi-Fi every 30 minutes, but with weak connection. Plus a large area for duty free shopping.

Airport worthy of the first world. Chile is an organized country, unfortunately it is stigmatized for being Latin American.

Very nice airport with all the comforts but the only and not least detail is that there are about 5 typical songs of Chile that are constantly repeated and when one has to spend the night it becomes tedious! The volume above is very strong. The two nights I had to spend became unbearable!

Watch out for the taxi scam...

I was looking for my name on a sign as I d booked a taxi to meet me... a guy asked me which company I was looking for and then immediately said he would call them.. he pretended to call the number of the company on his phone and passed the phone over to me, the guy on the other end of the phone said my car had broken down and the driver wouldn t be coming... I was suspicious from the beginning but this confirmed it was a scam so I told the guy on the phone to f**k off , handed back the phone to the scammer, said it s all good in Spanish and got out of there quickly... after putting the phone down I noticed at least 3 guys standing behind me looking at me... probably waiting to rob me or something... anyway then after a few more minutes I found my driver.

I stayed at the airport but was saved because there was a chair to lie down and sleep. A good number of people stayed at the airport.

Those who called themselves police and blocked guest in the airport are in fact robbers, they just perfunctorily interrogated guest as if it is a grudging procedure after that they foraged guest's luggages and robbed the guest's money , beat the guest and used force to coerce the guest to stamp by his thumb the paper with data fabricated by them .

Attention website and pessimistic inn without timely information

A very poorly designed airport - I would avoid connections here at all cost. The moment you get off the plane, you have to take this huuuuuuge walk round around the terminal to reach the exit or transfer area. The second time I returned, I had to change airlines which involved the slowest check in bag collection of all time (even after the long walk, the bags weren't even coming out yet), really slow clearance of immigration out, and then checking back in. The only saving grace was the staff at the LATAM check in counter who helped expedite the process. Had 3 hours in between to get all of this done, and still almost didn't make it - tried to tell the security clearance that we were rushing for our next flight - one staff let us through to the priority queue, only for us to get YELLED at by another staff, and then having to rejoin the main queue. Unless Santiago is your final destination, I would strongly recommend connecting at any other airport.

All perfect, but a very kind man went to find me, when I saw him I almost died !!!, I thought he was a flaite!, I arrived with my pants down with my slip in sight, I did not know whether to pass the suitcase or not , but he was very kind and correct in speaking !!!

It's wonderful that the airport has been enlarged and modernized, but if you have to walk a kilometer after a 24-hour journey with swollen feet, then you have to wait at least 2 hours at this mini pass control without being able to do so to sit down & sit there, "employees" who braid their hair every 2 minutes and have to put on make-up between the checks, or "take care" of the passport checks more than bored, then that's outrageous & brazen ...
I really travel a lot & have been to many airports worldwide, but I've never experienced such a bad work ethic !!!!!

This past June travel to Chile by emergency via Argentine airlines (excellent service).
When I arrived in Chile I found the renovation of the airport (nothing wrong with that), a mess of my father and my lord, suitcases where they are ?, Look on the screen, lady, not even bother to look at me to answer. I went to the number that said the screen and ... of my suitcase ... nothing. Ask again what the employee left DO NOT KNOW READING THE SCREEN? What kindness is not ??? Answer, of course, that you read, the screen says in 2, said the employee. What I answered is not my suitcase! He has! Then I do not know !!! Wonderful service.
