Very nice airport with all the comforts but the only and not least detail is that there are about 5 typical songs of Chile that are constantly repeated and when one has to spend the night it becomes tedious! The volume above is very strong. The two nights I had to spend became unbearable!

I was looking for my name on a sign as I d booked a taxi to meet me... a guy asked me which company I was looking for and then immediately said he would call them.. he pretended to call the number of the company on his phone and passed the phone over to me, the guy on the other end of the phone said my car had broken down and the driver wouldn t be coming... I was suspicious from the beginning but this confirmed it was a scam so I told the guy on the phone to f**k off , handed back the phone to the scammer, said it s all good in Spanish and got out of there quickly... after putting the phone down I noticed at least 3 guys standing behind me looking at me... probably waiting to rob me or something... anyway then after a few more minutes I found my driver.

Those who called themselves police and blocked guest in the airport are in fact robbers, they just perfunctorily interrogated guest as if it is a grudging procedure after that they foraged guest's luggages and robbed the guest's money , beat the guest and used force to coerce the guest to stamp by his thumb the paper with data fabricated by them .

A very poorly designed airport - I would avoid connections here at all cost. The moment you get off the plane, you have to take this huuuuuuge walk round around the terminal to reach the exit or transfer area. The second time I returned, I had to change airlines which involved the slowest check in bag collection of all time (even after the long walk, the bags weren't even coming out yet), really slow clearance of immigration out, and then checking back in. The only saving grace was the staff at the LATAM check in counter who helped expedite the process. Had 3 hours in between to get all of this done, and still almost didn't make it - tried to tell the security clearance that we were rushing for our next flight - one staff let us through to the priority queue, only for us to get YELLED at by another staff, and then having to rejoin the main queue. Unless Santiago is your final destination, I would strongly recommend connecting at any other airport.

All perfect, but a very kind man went to find me, when I saw him I almost died !!!, I thought he was a flaite!, I arrived with my pants down with my slip in sight, I did not know whether to pass the suitcase or not , but he was very kind and correct in speaking !!!

It's wonderful that the airport has been enlarged and modernized, but if you have to walk a kilometer after a 24-hour journey with swollen feet, then you have to wait at least 2 hours at this mini pass control without being able to do so to sit down & sit there, "employees" who braid their hair every 2 minutes and have to put on make-up between the checks, or "take care" of the passport checks more than bored, then that's outrageous & brazen ...
I really travel a lot & have been to many airports worldwide, but I've never experienced such a bad work ethic !!!!!

This past June travel to Chile by emergency via Argentine airlines (excellent service).
When I arrived in Chile I found the renovation of the airport (nothing wrong with that), a mess of my father and my lord, suitcases where they are ?, Look on the screen, lady, not even bother to look at me to answer. I went to the number that said the screen and ... of my suitcase ... nothing. Ask again what the employee left DO NOT KNOW READING THE SCREEN? What kindness is not ??? Answer, of course, that you read, the screen says in 2, said the employee. What I answered is not my suitcase! He has! Then I do not know !!! Wonderful service.
