Great and entertaining for kids and adults but way too expensive.
Great and entertaining for kids and adults but way too expensive.
I had such a fun time here, there was a lot of stuff to do.
The place my 3 year old daughter asks to go the most.
I love science world! There are fun things for adults and kids to enjoy. The omnimax movies are also awesome and really affordable.
Excellent for a rainy day. Make sure to bring snacks for both children and parents
Great experience at the After Dark adult-only nights. It's nice to explore the place without children around and the available alcohol is a plus. Only thing is that the IMAX generally isn't worth it. You can bring in your own food and water, just none of your own alcohol.
A great place to take the kids. Top notch science museum.
Last minute stop. We became kids again for an hour. Very cool.
Geared more towards kids. Still, lots to do. If you've been to the Ontario Science Centre, you get the idea.
Amazing place for all ages but especially for kids! Everything is engaging and interactive. We like new mirrow maze. I strongly recommend that place to visit, enjoying and learning at the same time!
This place is very quiet and clean in respect to other surroundings. I often go there for sitting and feeling nature, it left me with refreshing mind and soul. Most oftenly, boat race competition are held there, which attract the people nearby. I like this place so much because it is only quiet and a beautiful place close to my college (Columbia college). When i am feeling tired and don't want to do study then i usually sit there. Going to the insider point of TELUS science world, there are number of interesting activities related to science from which we are unfamiliar with. This section is mostly for the children from 5 to 12. This experience of children with science related activities help children to think critically. Despite all, i visit in the Omnimax theater on the top of science world building. This experience is quiet difference from other theatres. In this thestre i watched the movie seasons it is of 45 minutes long. Even i don't like the movie so much but the experience of sittinv in the globe like theatre is so interesting one. Some people feel dizziness during the show because of the large screen. Overall, i can say that outside view and environment is too good for relaxing and feeling nature.
Great place to visit and reignite that inner scientist. Suitable for families, couples or on your own if you want to kill some time. It rains a lot in Vancouver so sure to be plenty of opportunities!
Best to avoid the holidays if you don't want to be inundated with kids
Annual membership is recommended if you are going to visit more than 3 times. Half price after 5 o'clock on Tuesday!!
Amazing time!! Went on a weekend which was a bad idea for a couple, probably would have been less unsupervised children behaving badly during the week lol. Amazing exhibits and fantastic place!
I was here 3 years ago and most of the exhibits remains the same. Only a small section of the exhibit is different. There hasn t been much of new exhibits and I wish the exhibits change once a year to keep things fresh and attract more visitors. Parking on Science World lot is $4.25 per hour.
Fun but way over priced. Not worth the cost of a visit.
Don't miss it. It's fantastic for kids and adults as well.
We always buy a season pass ( which pays for itself in 2 visits). Always new and exciting things happening. Kids never get bored
These days it's overpriced and really diminishing returns on multiple visits. The new mirror maze exhibit is tiny, crowded and dirty.
Rotating exhibits, and a focal point of Vancouver. A must see and tourist experience. Accessible by transit, a lot of local cuisine nearby!
It was a fun place for my grandson of 3 1/2. He explored the cockroaches, worms, dinosaurs etc. He especially liked climbing the tree house with a friend he just met at the spot.
Thought it was sweet as a kid, but now it's kind of lame.
Very good science museum, as far as those go. (Though really, if you've been to one pretty good science museum you've pretty much been to them all, amirite?)
Extensive exhibits, great views of the water, and lots of shows every day on the center stage.
Fun and interactive displays. Very expansive for what you get. But still a good time.
Great atmosphere, a lot to experience and gain knowledge
One of the best places to take kids in Vancouver. Expect to stay a few hours for sure as there is plenty to see and do. Lots of great learning centres and hands on activities.
Not only is it a fun place but there's some amazing employees there too! Thanks to the science world staff all the lights were white when I proposed during Christmas time, they made a great picture perfect moment with the beautifully designed building.
Way overpriced. No family deals. No fun at all. Telus you ruined Science World. Thanks for nothing.
Very fun place to go.
We have no kids, but had a blast.
Great place for all ages.
A brilliant place to take kids and get back to learning even as an adult! It's a fun day out if on the slightly pricey end. The food options internally are not great and lines often long so if you can, wait to go elsewhere. There's not loads in the area but if you don't mind a scenic walk you can walk around the inlet toward Gastown/Yaletown for better options.
science world is awesome, the imax theater the exibits, and located near skytrain. but everything is expensive and long line for food.
Love coming here. Great for children and adults. There is just something missing a 'wow factor'.
Cost adds up, go after lunch to avoid insane prices additional to ticket costs
Fun science exhibits for the whole family. Main exhibits rotate frequently to keep things fresh. IMAX theatre sure to amaze.
Dont expect to find parking. It can get pretty full. Skytrain in or come really early.
Good place for everyone to kill time.
Many interesting things and have fun.
I remember going here all the time when I was a kid and I had just as much fun now with my kids as I did back then. Just needs a lil more parking!
Fun and interactive exhibits, adult evenings are great too
It is dedicated to children and adults, with incredible experiences for all ages.
Hands down the best museum I have ever been to and I'm not a huge fan of museums. My kids loved and I feel like we all learned a lot there.
My son loves it there lots of stuff for kids to do. Though it is a little pricy.
During the rain a d heavy winter that's coming up it's one of the best indoor places to take your kids
Dragon boat, kayaking, water activity and meet friends.
Was here for a 3 year old birthday party. If you are local buy the yearly pass, you wont be diaappointed.... the play area is fantastic, its a place that makes education super fun.
This is Science World and I'm a scientist...how can I not give it 5 stars?
Excellent permanent exhibits. And the temporary exhibits are fabulous. I look forward to going here every time they open a new exhibit.
Great place to take your kids with lots of interesting scientific activities
Mostly for kids but could be fun for adults.as well. liked the save energy ideas
I enjoyed my visit, the facility was well looked after and the atmosphere was energetic
I've been to some science centers that are for children, but are still fun for adults. This one was kind of boring sadly
A very nice place but they should say that is for kids
It is a wonderful place where kids and adults can left their imagination run wild according with a variety of activities are performed here. You can be there with your family, friends or alone to have a cuality time.
Fantastic experience. Do you have to book in advance because of Covid. It was not crowded all the shows were running like usual. Everything was clean. Fantastic exhibits
Never been inside....but love walking/biking around it. It's beautiful around there.
Loved this place, full of so much by the end of the night felt like I didn't see the whole place.
Attended SOC Science Of Cocktails event on Feb 7th. Very well planned event. Organizers were on top of everything. We were one of the exhibitors and felt we had full guidence provided in timely manner. This was the key of success.
Heads off to Clare Charney who I was dealing with!!!
Great museum to spend time with the kids. There is a lot to learn and to play. The topics are varied and interesting. We easily spent 3 hours here without boredom. There are also some shows and films to watch. In front of the museum there is also an outdoor area with a playground if the weather is fine.
Science World is one of the best ways to spend your time in BC. From the interactive, hands-on exhibits, to the world-class OMNIMax theatre, there is much for the child and adult in your group to experience and learn in a few hours. Science World is an emerging leader in BC, and globally, of educating adults and children about the incredible effects of connecting to our natural surroundings. A BC must!
Super nice place for kids we enjoyed the time we spent there
Science world is a great place to take your kids. I would recommend taking them to the second level in the center of the building. You can spend hours playing with the toys that measure many different strengths and abilities.
Science World you need an annual pass as you just can't see everything in a day. It's incredible as there are so many different things for the children to play and learn from. I wish we had this when I was growing up.
An unique place to visit for a family. Parking sucks, take public transportation is a good choice.
Great place for young children. Lots of interactive activities.
Love this kids Science museum. Great, hands on activities for kids of all ages. The gift shop is also fantastic.
Disappointed, and expensive for what there is to see, moreover the interesting attractions (pixar and flight in synthetic image) are in supplement.
I do not recommend it.
Lots of good hands on stuff, even for older children and adults.
