It never ceases to amaze me how great the staff at Science World are. They might be robots. We went specifically for the Pixar exhibit and it didn't disappoint. This exhibit is NOT for preschool to grade 1 age. If as an adult you want to experience the entire exhibit completely and really emerce yourself and learn something, don't bring a kid.
Thank you for another wonderful experience Science World.
Side note...the staff at White Spot in Science World are so friendly.

The Pixar exhibition was the one I liked the most (when I went).

So much to see and explore, love the newer garden aspect outside! We wanted more environmentally focused and outdoor learning fun! This place is understandably expensive. Alas, as "locals", I choose less extravagant outings with my littlin, as she is happy running outside and exploring nature. Nonetheless, a fun place for an all day experience, very busy / amusement park like, but, without the rides ;)

Went back after not having been here for several years. We have kids 2, 5, and 7 and thought it would be a nice spring break activity. After 45 minutes and not being able to use any of the exhibits due to the overwhelming crowds, we asked for (and received) a full refund. I asked if there is a cap for number of people in the building, as one of my first thoughts when we were in the middle of the massive crowds was that if there were a fire or other emergency we would all be doomed. Lack of adequate staff also added to the chaos as there were people misusing the exhibits and being unruly and rude. Has potential if you were able to use the space.

Great science for children of all ages. There are lectures, participate-islands, scientific simply prepared and games that arouse the curiosity. The outdoor area offers additional information about urban gardening. Clear recommendation, with and without children

Such a wonderful asset for Vancouver, science world is fantastic for families, even with small children as there are multiple areas set up for different age groups with a wide variety of learning activities that are so much fun the kids don't always realise they're learning. Outside there are stages where science world staff do demonstrations of experiments which the kids always love, and beyond the fence there are great views, an adventure playground and (as my daughter loves to watch the skytrain as it passes) endless fascinations. Parking is sufficient on sunny weekdays but unless you're going early ok weekends/holidays/rainy days, take the bus! Oh and don't leave valuables in your pram when it's parked outside the little kids play area...

Came here for their Science World After Dark 80s night. It's great to be able to walk through the exhibits without running into kids and being able to drink throughout the evening. There was a wide variety of exhibits which that were well kept. It's unfortunate that the omni theatre wasn't open for a show. It's a nice place to go with groups, but definitely on the pricier end of activities.

Very interactive for kids, loads to do and keep them entertained for several hours. We liked how almost every exhibit was very hands on, explanations are good and short enough that kids dont lose interest. Musuems from the UK could learn a lot from ones like this!

We loved science this visit! No complaints! Plenty of space to move around even when it's crazy busy. Easy to have even a double stroller with you walking around to see everything.

Only thing that changed since my last visit was the 0-5 area. They have some pretty amazing stuff there now but...its so hard to see where the kids are. It used to be a bigger space and you could see your kids from almost any spot and they had a gate where kids could only exit with an adult which I loved! I love the upgraded area but wish it had better visibility and a gate again. ,

It has remained relatively unchanged from the days of my childhood, which is a bit of a mixed blessing. Returning as an adult with my wife (and no kids) made for a pretty quick and ultimately disappointing experience. We specifically were looking forward to the cats and dogs exhibit but found it extremely lacking.

That said, Science World remains a haven for children of all ages. The exhibits are interactive and captivating for kids that love discovering for themselves. They've even added a virtual reality area (added cost) where you can flap your virtual wings and fly through a canyon as a bird.

I personally don't plan on coming back until I have a child, but once I do I expect I'll be back somewhat regularly!

Always been a joy to go to Science World. Always something to learn whether as a kid or adult. It does get a little too busy on weekends to get at all the exhibits you would want to, but still totally worth going.

The "Telus Sphere" as many people are calling it has had a complete overhaul since the Russians used it for thier home base and pavillion during the Vancouver Winter Olympics.
A bit expensive however.
It's a stunning building, situated at the far east end of False Creek and can be reached by walking, False Creek Ferry, or Skytrain.
Clean, well run, lots to see for all ages. Save some time after to walk the area afterwards and take some photos!

Recently before Covid-19 I went here for a sleepover with my scout group and many other scouts it was the most fun I have had in a long time. We got watch a movie we got explore all of the cool puzzles games and physics contraptions all over the place and we got to watch a super fun presentation. The only problem is that this time and every other time I slept overnight there the place has been infested with rats.

P.S.the views from the balcony at day and night are amazing

So much fun for my 2yr old daughter. Lots to do & see. We spent a good 4hrs there. Tip: if your toddler likes water as much as mine does, bring a change of clothes once they are done playing in the splash table! We learned after our first visit

It s a very fun place to visit, specially for kids and young adults. Each season they have a different program. The architecture of the place is very iconic specially in nights when you can see the light reflections on the water. I recommend you to visit this place!

A great place for kids. It offers a hands on learning experience for many, and the IMAX experiences add to the charm of it. It is one of the iconic pieces of Vancouver. It's after dark events are a good way to attract a more adult audience, but after the first time it loses a lot of its charm.

The facilities and technology are fairly outdated and the rotating exhibitions don't add too much for returning visitors. Their needs to be more funding in science and in public facilities like this. It has the potential to be great and I hope it can get the upgrades and TLC it deserves.

Always a great experience. Been many many times. We always go during the week during a school day to avoid large volumes of people but the downside is some of the exhibits don't get the same amount of staff attention so we miss out on some things because an exhibit is closed.

We used to go to Science World literally at every day off school. It was cheaper back then especially with the annual children passes.

The exhibits were lively although most of the equipment were under repair most of the time.

However, ever since Telus bought it, Science World seemed to have died, like the Taiwanese Cultural Festival (Taiwanfest), when Telus also bought.

Now everything is way more expensive and they took out many exhibits. One thing that made me sad was that they replaced own of the most iconic display in Science World-- the optical illusion room with a staff room.

Things just aren't the same here anymore. 1. expensive 2. Complacent

You probably already know what this place is, what you might not know is that they don t have enough (any?) hand sanitizer stations. You re going to want to bring some of your own cause this place is a great place to catch a cold. Don t get me wrong it s still a great place and worth going to, just plan ahead a bit with the Purell.
