Science World at TELUS World of Science Reviews

Science world is awesome! We brought our walking 13-month old and he loved the Wonder area. So much for him to do. We went on Family Day, so naturally it was screaming busy, but admission was free for everyone, and the line up outside, while it looked extremely daunting in its length was actually moved in so fast my husband actually had to run with the stroller to get in line with me while I let multiple people pass me. Staff were all super friendly and helpful. Looking into getting a membership here.

Interactive teaching, super recommended. It s worth playing with the brain wave game.

Wonderful place for kids to have a hands on experience with all things science. So many activities for them to try. Can be a bit pricey for a family to go. A year membership would be how I would do it, so that I can get my money's worth. With all the rain we get in Vancouver it's a great way to stay local and keep the kids busy for the day

A great innovative resourse place for kids for learning and development. A tad high price wise for adults though at over 23 dollars cause it is more or all for the kids and that becomes a money grab. Would be a 5 star then.

Great plave for kids to experiment and learn science!

I went with friends by a free day entrance. It was really awesome. See all the kids can get fun with realistic topic about life and our care about it is so interesting. All the information of we humans produce and need to take care about is a nice interaction to learn.
The museum is connected to the port and that's a thing that makes it unique. All the views you can see surrender by boats are complete awesome.

Science world is a great day out for kids and has lots of things to keep adults interested as well. The price can seem a bit steep, but it can be a solid day of activity if you have the time. My family has had memberships for the past two years, and we've never regretted it. Money and time well spent.

Edit: The current Pixar exhibit is worth every extra penny. It is a great look into the amazing work that pixar does on their films, and really helps dissecct the science behind computer animation. I bought the season pass and have been through four times, and I know there's still more information to absorb.

Good for kids.. they have regular events and shows as well..

Experience ruined by a plethora of over-excited, noisy, unruly kids running around shouting, jumping and slapping everything they can get their grubby hands on as the parents watch and smile. Basically a giant play park.

So interesting with so many diverse activities. We spent hours there with our young kids totally active and engaged. Would avoid the noise and crowds on a stat holiday next time. It was so busy and deafening.

We have annual cards for this for a while and kids like it.

An interactive museum ideal for children under 12 years old. The museum is small compared to many similar ones that we have in Mexico, but to spend a while is very good.

Way overpriced for what it is. Good when I was a kid but it was less expensive then. Imax seems like it hasn't updated since 1994.

Love this place, it's so much fun! They also do an adults only night, which is always super fun!!

Way overpriced for how boring it is for adults. And the Cats and Dogs exhibit was so pathetic. I would have had more fun learning about cats and dogs on Google. Save your money for other things to do in Vancouver.

Excellent place for adults and children. There are areas for all interests. You can definitely spend the whole day in this place and want to come back the next day. The new area for children 0-5 years old is very good too

Beautiful is a very complete museum for the whole family, beautiful, clean, interactions, cinemas, highly recommended, affordable cost you need about 3 hours to explore it quietly because if it is large. And the views it has to the sea is beautiful

Great for small and big. You can spend a few hours there very well.

Fantastic. We went as two adults and enjoyed the experience. We had a go of pretty much every exhibit, which were fantastic for children (we're children at heart). The volcanoes omnax film was great too. Well worth the visit.

Exciting place with lots of hands in stuff, aimed at children. Was really busy.

Incredibly long lineups, constantly under renovations, prices increased since the last time I had visited. Will not be returning

Science World was very fun but the virtual reality bird flying machine needs to be at least 4 minutes

I was attracted to come today because of the free admission for Family Day and was pleasantly surprised by how fun it was! Super educational and well-rounded with all kinds of scientific topics covered in all facilities. I think people of all ages from young children to adults will have fun here. I was impressed with how many resources being offered to expose children to coding at a young age. Greatly recommend you to come! With your family, friends or even by yourself. Just be aware that it s definitely going to be noisy as majority of guests are children.

Fun little spot for kids, geared towards kids probably 14 and below

Great place to throw a birthday party. They take care of everything.

I had fun but there were very rude people there that had no clue how to say excuse me as they were passing u. There were a few people that almost ran over my nephews.

Great place for Kids, and adultos Who want to learn

The kids love this place, although it seems to have less things to see and do. The Triple O's there is decent, but the portions are tiny and the place was filthy. I had to ask two servers to wipe our table and got so fed up that I grabbed a cloth from someone wiping tables in an empty part of the restaurant and I wiped our table myself... while she just stood there and watched. So go for the science learning, but leave for food somewhere else

Wide variety of activities for children and adults to enjoy. Hourly science shows are informative and educational.

Great place for kids of all ages, but couldn't believe how some parents stood-by while their children cut lines and were rude to others.

First time visiting Science world. Enjoyed the challenges and exhibits.

What a fun place! This has something for everyone. There s a preschool section for ages 0-5 and a special section just for babies that are crawling. The older kids loved the Eureka section. We watched a demonstration on the first level and the presenter kept the show flowing well and entertaining. The mirror maze was also fun. Definitely recommend this place.

Great place to take the kids. Parking is not great though, can find cheaper options if dont park in the lots there.

Great place for toddlers and children to learn and explore science. Spend your day trying to solve the puzzles. Hint, YouTube has all the solutions. If your are hungry, Triple O burgers are on special Tuesdays. Nice views of False Creek and dragon boats. OMNIMAX Theatre is an extra cost. Science World Memberships pay off after only three visits.

It's a great place to take your kids. Lots of great exhibits. Although I think they need to update some of the super old stuff. I only go twice a year and my kids have been seeing some of the same stuff for the last 4 years. The rotating exhibits are great though. Especially when they have a Lego exhibit.

Fun place to go and for all ages. There are fun games and puzzles and lots of exhibits to make learning fun for children. Although, admission is a little expensive at around $30 for adults.

A good relaxed place to enter the cinematographic atmosphere of science.

New events get 5 stars: but as someone who has been going to science world for 20 years, it is time to clean up and give the first floor a serious upgrade.

This place deserves more funding! It is a beautiful place and the theater experience is also wonderful. Take your kids here often.

Promoted hate towards Alberta... They should be ashamed of themselves. Was absolutely disgusted in what I saw

A great time. Was surprised Pixar was an additional price above regilar admission. I did not feel the extra cost was worth it. I found the video game exhibit was amazing

great time with my family (wife, 2y old son and 6m old son) The Pixar exhibit was boring and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone with kids under 5

Great interactive museum that teaches through hands on exhibits. Park next the McDonald's in case the museum parking is full

Go here at least twice a month with the kids. great indoor space, good programming and friendly staff.

Great museum with so many things to explore and investigate and learn from. The whole museum is filled with activities that teach principles of science in an approachable and fun way.
This is a museum you could visit over and over again--there's just so much to do. They also have a nice Omnimax theater--just know that the tickets for showings aren't included in the price for entering the museum. We paid $5 each for Omnimax tickets.

Plenty of things to see and learn. Mostly for children but grown-ups will enjoy too. #ScienceCommunication #KnowledgeTranslation done by experts. Perfect activity for a rainy day, both for tourists and locals... and could of course work on a sunny day too, if a visit to the nearby playground is part of the itinerary.

A great place to take the family to learn about science and the world at large. It has lots of good exhibits geared to children, as well as an IMAX theatre and a restaurant with decent prices and food.
