Great place to bring the kids to learn more about science
Great place for kids and adults who are intrested in science experiments. Omnimax theater is also amust see.
The open-air Science Museum is very interesting, it gives it a different touch.
5 stars because it's a good place for kids.. not so much for adults
Long established place to bring the family or for school trips to explore the wonders of science and more. They change main themes/exhibitions regularly. Onsite paid parking and some nearby free time restricted street parking. Beautiful area to spend time along the walkways and parks of False Creek. #letsguide #vancouver
Lots of really cool stuff but a a little less expensive for family's would be nice.
Our favourite place to go anytime, lots of fun and education for kids and adults.
Educational and entertaining for kids and adults. Recommend getting annual membership as it can be used at other partnership science centres.
Wonderful interactive museum, fun for all ages! Went there on a date and it made things very interesting. Make sure to check out what is playing in their dome theater.
Our family has a membership and it's totally worth it if you have kids. Endless amount of fun things to do for any ages!
If you wanna spend time indoors go to science world. It's an amazing place for kids and worth every penny you pay.
Going during the week was awesome not to busy and got to explore everything
A great day for the whole family - something for everyone. The exhibits engaged my elementary aged kids. The baby/toddler area entertained my youngest. All of it was interesting to me. Highly recommend!
How can you not bring your kid here? Parents had fun too. Awesome exhibits. Really cool playground nearby too.
Love this place. It's more geared towards kids of course and I've yet to see a kid not have fun here.
Really enjoyed this! Definitley geared towards younger children but the natural history section has a full replica of a t-rex which was one of the highlights. Still plenty of fun for all the family.
Best place for kids in Vancouver for rainy days hands down
try doing Pokemon go there you will catch a lot of Pokemon
I love all the interactive displays. Great for for the kids and adults. The price could go down a bit.
Had an amazing time with my daughter. Lots to do, touch, hear, see, etc and even an putside play zone!
Great place for an afternoon of exploration with the family.
'twas volunteer work on October 1, 2015 for Inspire BC and the location was fantastic.
Since I was volunteer, everything was more than precious experience.
Love it. Great place and the kids have a blast. So much to do and see. Hard to get through it all in one visit.
Although we visited during covid tied, but it is so fun!
Great place for kids of all ages! Learning centres from newborn through 99. Worth the visit.
THIS IS A FUN PLACE TO BRING YOUR KIDS. IT CAN BE CROWDED ON THE WEEKENDS. THE IMAX DOME MOVIE IS ALSO VERY NICE.
Only been outside but the is a super cool childrens playground
Lots of science and nerdy stuff, perfect for a first date or family day!
Awesome place, must take kids with u. They ll love it.
Awesome! The best experience I had been with kids in Vancouver!
Such a great place for Kids to learn Science and our body. Even I learned and refresh my science knowledge. Can't wait to go back.
Great family day out.. takes about 3 hours maybe longer if you go to the movie options too, and has loads of interesting things for both adults and kids alike. Well worth a visit for sure.
Haven't been to Science World in a long time but was there for the Elements Film Festival. It was well organized as Science World is a great venue especially because at the base of the omnimax theater we could play on a lot of their interactive exhibits while we wait for the theater to open
It is worth it, you have fun and learn, it is something similar to the kite museum
I really enjoy going here with my wife and daughter. It is fun and educational at the same time. Parking is a pain in the rear but once you are inside it is all laughter and screams
I remember the first time I went to science world as a kid. Was an unforgrtable experience. Now being an adult I still enjoy going to the science world.
Buy tickets from the entrance. More suitable for young children to see. The interior makes it a good place to take pictures.
Tiny little "Science Center". You can see every exhibit in about an hour. The T-Rex is awesome but everything else felt more like what you would find at a children's museum.
We have been members for the past 6 years. Great for young families. Ok for families with older children.
We love the omnimax theater, science shows and maker space. Wonder was built as my children aged out of that play area but it looks amazing! If I had kids under 5 a membership would be a must have.
I remain disappointed at the food options and choices of corporate partners. Science World does good work in the community.
In this museum you can live the technology and science developing new forms of understanding about phenomena and how big is the creativity waiting for discover more .
Outside the building is a nice urban landmark. A very enjoyable place outside or inside Telus building.
Excellent place for kids and adults to wake up curiosities and thinking
We LOVE it here ! The hands on experiments are the best, please have more in the future :)
Really neat place with lots to see and learn. We were a bit frustrated that we paid an extra $8 each to see the Pixar exhibit, as there were three different items that were out of order. Would love to see a bit more for adults
Awesome for kids! We got the annual pass cuz my son love it here!! There is also an area for age 0-5.
Place is cool more for kids ... but overall very interesting
Worth a visit, lots to see and do for a reasonable price. Great for families.
My daughter just spent 3.5 hours here and did not want to leave. 5 years old, and LOVES the Eureka and Wonder exhibits and the live science demonstrations
Awesome place to go to even for little grown-ups. ;)
My son and I have lived here since the start of the CV-19, as you know it has been tough.. especially trying to entertain children while they "have nothing to do" (PS:very sorry for all the people closing or out of work due to this, I feel you)
So I'm a first timer with me and my boy, going to science world on a Sunday,
And I tell ya one thing...we could have spent HOURS upon hours here! Lol it was great and we are going back next week...
I love how it helps combines all the things to help you bond learn and teach with science and nature...you get to have fun with the young one(s)... it was great and I love the idea of this our second homestead together!
So that being said I am going to be buying buy a membership for us... I would highly recommend parents of toodlers and only child situations, to come spend bonding time together and embark on many awesome levels with your kiddo :)

Great exhibits for all age levels! My toddler especially loves the toddler room with all the activities! Great rainy day place to visit!
Wonderful place. So much to learn. My girls favorite place to visit.
Fun class field trip, all kids had fun with no meltdowns!
Best place to take little kids on a rainy Vancouver day (so long as everyone else in Vancouver doesn't have the same idea ).
A fantastic experience for children and adults. So many interactive and fun educational exhibits!
Great for adults and kids alike. Lots of interaction and friendly staff. Enough enjoyment for at least 3-4 hours of entertainment
We were there for a wedding on the green rooftop terrace - amazing views - perfect event space. Added bonus of playing science games at the reception
Went here for the dragon boat races, what a great time watch each heat and enjoying food from the many food trucks there. Lots of room to watch the races. One team even made beeping noise when backing up their boat. The Science Center being the background was icing on the cake for me. Boat teams were walking all over so lots of chances to talk to them. If you take the hop and go bus this is one of the stops.
The Omnimax Theatre was Awesome! We went during Spring break so it was crazy busy. The exhibits were fun and informative. Loved the fossils & skeletons, the infrared harp and the Ripley's Believe it or Not exhibit. A great way to spend the day!
Visited in COVID. Felt safe and clean. Kids had a wonderful time. Great venue to amuse the little ones.
It shall only be referred to as "Science World", nothing else will do. Aside from that its fun and a great place. Nothing really else to say considering its kind of on and exhibit by exhibit basis.
Science world is a place for children. Only go if you're with children.
Do not go when it is raining. A lot of things are outside and there are alot of outdoor things near science world.
Had a good time here. Some of the exhibits are shut but the majority are open. I really enjoyed the physics and water play areas and the body exhibit was interesting. I hadn't been here in years and came as a family.
Fun and learning together. Unfortunately it is a bit too expensive
One of my most favourite place for night photography.
My kids love it this place. Lots of fun many many things to do. Great for kids of all ages I highly recommend it !!!
Lots of fun and lots of things to do. Like the interactive exhibits as well as just the number of exhibits available.
My 2 year old daughter loves science world so we go about once a week. She loves all the things to do and explore. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because I find there are always several children who are obviously over 5 in the 0-5 play area who are quite pushy and don seem to care about the little ones . I wish there was more supervision regarding this issue. Overall we love science world!!!
I went to Science World's adults evening for a work event. It's amazing and and deserves five stars considering what most people call five stars, however, not me :)
This was our second time. The lead attraction was a Ripley's Believe it or Not room. The prior time I went with work it was a Jurassic Park / Dino theme. Both were OK, but the current one would have been better served by having increased interactiveness (ie with staff- demonstrations, presentations). Staff was helpful in letting me know that the brain battle machine where you compete against another person to see who can increase their alpha brain wave activity (relax) the most, was being updated and would be back in a month.
I wish this event would come with a bit of a dress code - nothing serious, but enough to keep out the freaks who thought it to be appropriate to come wearing their dog masks (a kink display /exhibitionism).
Walking around and just admiring the mountains and the sea...
The IMAX movies are really good. Give yourself enough time to see all the exhibits.
