There alot of exhibits there . Some to observe and some to get involved in. They are great for kids and adults a like . They also show movies in a huge projection screen . I saw a movie about a young scientist in the Amazon jungles . It was ok . But I'm sure if the subject matter was different it would have been great . Worth the trip .

Book your tickets online and save a bit of a wait. Get there early if you want to park outside as it's a gong show, though I did go during Spring Break, but every other day will have numerous school field trips for you to negotiate. Food inside (White Spot) is good with large portion sizes, line ups go quick too.

The Omnimax movies are ok, the sciencey things there are interesting, more so for the kids I guess and the free show which is around the centre stairs is great for the kids.

A 4 hour car park for $10 is probably enough.

Great fun for kids. We took our daycare class there on a field trip and they all had a blast the indoor and outdoor play areas were a highlight and the kids didn't get bored at all with so much to do.

If I knew it is for kids only I will not go there. Wanted to visit only Pixar part, but I had to buy a regular ticket and extra one for the Pixar part. Kids were everywhere, misbehaving, screaming all the time. One big chaos. I spent like 10 minutes and run away from this nighmare.

overwhelmingly busy and difficult to enjoy. If you have kids this may be a good option but they may get impatient waiting to try some of the many cool things on display amd to interact with.

One of our favorite science centers we've visted. Loved the layout, schedule of demos, outside play area, and variety of exhibits. Pixar was a good add on for a one time visit too. Cafeteria was surprisingly good and not too exorbitant for a museum. We stayed happily 10-5p and would have visited again if our travel schedule allowed. Admission was free with our home science center membership (extra charge for Pixar).

Really love this place. They are constantly having events like the body works or dinosaurs exhibits. Many others that I don't recall. As far as a place to go to learn new things about life and the natural world, I think it's a great place.

Price is higher than some could probably afford but if you make enough money. Take yourself, take a date, take your kids.

Remind some of my childhood. Always had the most fun here, went here last week after coming dozens of times and learned a lot more! Went to the adult Halloween mystery murder event and had loads of fun.

Science World was awesome lots and lots of different activities and attractions to do the only thing I would love to see is that they had some kind of flyer or brochure especially for visitors who don't live in Vancouver and would like to have a little Memento to take home

There is something here for every age. Simple and fun demonstrations of principles... Details are there when you are ready for them, but on their own, so many of the displays are just fun to play with. It "feels" bigger inside than it looks from the outside.

Great time with the family. Got a year pass and we enjoyed going many times.

The main parking is often difficult to get a spot, so I tend to use the pay parking that is across the street, next to the McDonald's. Easy enough to cross the street, and you don't have to fight to get a spot

Bullet points:

Bullet points:
* This place is awesome
* Beat the crowds by going at opening
* Bring your lunch
* If you're a teacher in BC, you get in twice for free

I just recently went to Science World for the first time in twenty years and I enjoyed it. We brought our 2.5 year old and he had a blast too! Lots of cool things to look at. More importantly, there are really great hands-on exhibits.

Come early to beat the crowds. We went during spring break and it got busy a little before lunch. I can't speak for the weekends.

Save some money and bring a lunch. There is a Triple O's on the ground floor and a little concession stand on the second floor but the food is overpriced. There are some places that you can plop yourself to have a little picnic.

If you're a teacher, Science World has a Teacher Preview Program where you get two complementary admissions within a calendar year. It's a great opportunity to see what resources are available for the classroom.

Recommended!

2 stars for adults, 4 stars for children. .... as an adult I was a little disappointed as the exhibits are very heavily biased for children. Also as an adult on my own, the entry price therefore is somewhat expensive

I did not know that this place is mostly for children. Not the best experience for me and it might be difficult to bring kids because it is SO busy. If you and your kids can tolerate the big lines then this place is for you.

Excellent world class science museum for kids . Science experiments modeled as toys is a great motivator for kids to learn concepts. Parking might be cheaper in 268 keefer but involves 10 minute walk

Since I was a kid coming here has been wonderful and I find even as an adult the place has still not lost it's wonder. check out the imax movies if you get the chance. You won't regret it.

This is a decent science center. I feel they could have done more with the fire show we saw. I think both Toronto and Seattle have much nicer science centers. It had a nice location. We did not get a chance to check out the science garden.

This place turned out to be better than I expected. First of all its perfect for the kids but even for people like us which dont have children, it turned out to be a blast. Tons to do and you don't really feel time passing. Definitely go for the mirror maze and the IMAX theatre.

Great place to take anyone of any age if they enjoy the wonders of science. Line ups can be long depending on the day and time. Family passes available and allow free entry into a large number of other science world locations or partners. Parking can be pricey too, but if coming via skytrain then no worries as the closest station is about 150 meters away. Restaurant on site and storage lockers for backpacks and such that you don't want to drag around as you explore. Take the day and enjoy the wonders of science here with your young ones!
