Love coming here with my family. Lots to see, lots to do. Have our membership and will come back time and time again. Love the newer kids section, my kids play there for hours and hours. Also, quite enjoy the gift shop. Keep changing up the exhibits and we will continue to come back, thanks Science World!

Was very enjoyable and informative even for me at 64 years old. Would be a great experience for Jr. High students. Only suggestion would be to thourougly check displays daily. My adult son and I came upon several broken and unusable ones.

Love coming here. Kids have a great time. It does get busy after lunch, recommend coming in the morning. Check out the shows at center stage and definitely check out the ken Spencer park outside - there are even shows outside too. If you have kids 8 and under, definitely worth getting a membership. As for parking, there is street parking available - along Main Street or smaller streets (national). But the ones on the bigger streets have a 2 hour limit.

Often times I go there are broken activities or displays, if not long line ups to get to them. The three stars are for showing up small children at puzzles.
Stop letting in children who are better than me at puzzles.
The nature exploration area is a fun place to hide and pretend you're playing a fun game with the kids you don't have.

Went to the quantum after dark show. The movie shown before the event was definitely more theatrical and interpretive than what you would expect from such a science and information based facility. The quantum section itself was fairly small and cramped, there were a lot of broken demos and no quantam-specific live presentations. Otherwise it was just expensive beer and the regular science world toys and shows.

Great place to go especially with kids! My little sister loved it. They switch up some of their show room once awhile.

Would recommend for any family with kids from kindergarten to junior high, quite some science trip for the whole family!

This is one of the better family places to go in Vancouver. Cost is very high, but we always feel like we leave getting value out of it. The one frustrating area is the toddler play area. It's a great idea, but so incredibly cramped and difficult to get your child if they are having a meltdown. The playground is particularly difficult because there's no easy way to see your kid or access if up there as an adult. Definitely some stressful times in there.

Science world is absolutely incredible.

If you want to introduce your children to science in a fun and exciting way, bring them here! The exhibits are fun and interactive and the shows are always brilliant!

Not to mention the staff, even when they are rushed off their feet trying to maintain the exhibits and keep people out of trouble, they are always so friendly and passionate.

But if you're reading the comments and you see a lot of people saying "it's just for children", IGNORE THEM! It's 100% for adults too, but you have to actively try to have fun. Bring a group of friends and go act like a goof for a little bit.

16/10 would always go again.

Went back here recently and it is so much fun even as an adult. Loved this place as a kid and was tickled that a lot of the same things that were there when I was younger is still there....but with a lot of new stuff too (unlike the planetarium which literally has not changed in about 20 years).

Science World is always a treat to visit , I love going there. The IMAX is awesome, I saw the move about the Hubble Telescope and loved it. I strongly recommend a visit to Science World, there's lots of things going on there. 5 stars all day long.

Great science center, so much to do and lots to see. Easy to spend 3 hours here. One thing that was odd was that they had no hand sanitizer dispensers anywhere. Strange for a place thousands of people are all touching the same things, especially when other science centers have them.

We were in town from the interior and decided to spend the day here .. had a great time ! Lots of stuff for inquisitive minds old and young alike .. my favourite exhibition was the mind waves race!! There was a couple great demonstrations in the science stage as well as having triple o s in the building to eat at as well as other strategically placed kiosks

We held a birthday party for our 9 year-old daughter there. They had a 'Chemistry Party' where the scientists do some experiments for the children to see and then explain the reasoning behind what had occurred.

The 'scientists' were very engaging with the children and they had a blast (pun intended).

In the birthday package you have a choice of food from either Domino's Pizza or White Spot (cannot be both) for you and the kids.

I would definitely recommend birthday parties here with children.
