Love this place. So much fun - from the OmniMax Theatre, to the other different events they have going on (Pixar, Mirrors, Cats & Dogs etc) but even the Eureka and Search areas are exciting to see and learn so much!

There is always something new to discover and learn at Science World. We love the Omnimax movies, which always inspire, educate and thrill us. Science World helps to bring awareness to people regarding extremely important issues such global warming, water conservation and sustainability, hopefully inspiring them to make necessary changes in their lives.

If you live close and have young kids, buy a membership and go during the week. Then it s quiet and delightful and you ll get your money s worth. It s hectic on the weekends and an expensive option for a family outing.

Exciting but a little pricey.

Exciting but a little pricey.
Kids are never let down.
Be prepared to spend $25 on parking there also.

Science world in Vancouver is a great place to discover scientific things. I went there with my family and we all love it! Kids do have a great time. We also enjoy visiting as adults. The only recommendation to improve, add more new exhibits. That being said first time or sporadic visitors will have a great time. Its annual pass holders who desire some more variety. The location is perfect and metro connectivity is available and easy.
This place should be in everyone's bucket list.

Lots for kids to do an area for infants worth the price for the amount you get to do there's a free phone charging station is very convenient when your phone is dead close to Transit not much for food selection just a Triple O's friendly staff great memories

Love it.

Went here on a sat morning. Sooo many other kids and families, my daughter was having a blast and i would suspect learning a little too. Many of the exhibits are kid friendly but there are definitely some that cater more towards adults. I definitely suggest you bring a kid so you get to join in on the childish fun.

There is SO much to do as a family. My 3 year old absolutely loves all the regular exhibits and we usually dont even get a chance to see the feature. Lots of variety, very clean in the exhibits and common areas.

The crowds and sometimes dirty bathrooms are the only downsides I can think of.

There are a lot of activities for any age. There is a place inside the building where you can leave a stroller, but not really big. We visited on Tuesday and around 2 p.m. the place was pretty full. So I think on weekends it will be hard to find a spot for the stroller there.
There are a lot of bathrooms and drinking fountains.

An absolutely amazing experience for kids! Though it's costly, still just full of non stop fun! They also keep adding more and more new projects like vr (virtual reality) I have to say, out of everything there, the Omnimax was the best experience.

Glad to have a place like this in Vancouver. There's something for all ages here. Lots of activities to explore. Some of the exhibits are really old, bit they are always updating other areas. Has one of the few IMAX theatres in Vancouver.

This place is the best. There are a lot of reviews that said that there were too many people: we took this to heart and went on a Wednesday. There were people but not very many. We took our kids: 6, 4, and 2 year old. They all had a great time with pretty much everything. The new kids areas (finished a few months ago) was one of a kind - it was a huge tree-house like structure that was just for kids. We have been to the Seattle, Portland, and now Vancouver science centers since the beginning of this year - and this one is by far the best. We were there for 6 hours and didn't actually see everything - the kids didn't want to leave (except the 2 year old who needed a nap). Even though the kids had a blast, I would have enjoyed the science center even without them. If we come back to Vancouver, we will definitely return here.

Top destinations to visit in Vancouver, right by False Creek. They have a play area space for toddlers and a White Spot. Right now they have water machines, huge stackable building blocks, a playground set, interactive computers, and a lot of space for the kid to run around.

So much to see and do with the family. Lots of exhibits about sustainability. Great demonstrations happen regularly. The outdoor exhibits are worth venturing out for and are very interactive. Top floor has some great learn and play exhibits where parents can let their kids run free.

It's a great place to spend with your children, and it's great to spend an educational day. It's hard to wait. You have to wait and park. 1 hour, 2 hours, 4 hours.
I've visited twice but the basics don't change, and there are some event-related exhibits, so it's a good place to hear once or twice a year.
There is not much to eat around and there is a small cafe in the building.

A great place specially for kids to gain some good scientific experience.
It is a bit pricey though specially considering the fact that you have to pay separately for all the events including Omnimax movies as well all occasional exhibitions .
Don't miss current Pixar event. You will be amazed!

The best Vancouver Museum! Take the kids with you. We were there for 1.5 hours and we did not have enough time. Take it with a margin of 3 hours, because there are a lot of interesting rooms, there are even games. I was very interested in an adult with her husband.

Lots to do and see and very interesting place. Can be hard to get a go on every thing because the place is so popular. We went on a rainy day but now wish we didn't because there is an outside section. Also think the place would have been quieter.
Parking is limited under the flyover. With we got the sky train.

Great fun for kids. Most of the features aren't particularly entertaining for adults.

If you've been once, you needn't go again, unless their rotating main exhibit interests you.

Prices are ridiculously high, and their omnimax films aren't included in the admission price.
