I've been going here since I was a kid and as an adult it still entertains me. Information is regularly updated, they have cool exhibits, and when private parties are held it's a real blast!

While I would prefer to give my money to the Vancouver Aquarium and their efforts to rescue injured wildlife, the reality is Science World is a more engaging experience for kids. There's so much to be hands on with for a kid that they can be at Science World from open to close all weekend.

The food options are a little pricey but there's a McDonald's and an A&W across the street. The gift shop sells rather shabby products, but there's an exit you can use that skips it entirely so your kid doesn't tantrum over not getting a mound of cardboard for $40.

My two year old had a blast today at Science World. The wonder gallery did wonders for her.. the water trail.. the climb.. the cooking adventure.. the color regime.. the klaidescope.. she had a lot of fun..even the fire center stage demo was very fascinating.. the only downside was food options.. cannot believe that their vegetarian option sucks.. Vancouver being a cosmopolitan city, these guys are still not open for vegetarian options.. their burger was a mass of ketchup dumped on tomato and lettuce.. no other veggies involved.. if you are a vegetarian and planning to spend your day at Science World, make sure you pack a lunch with you!

We've had year memberships for our family the last 3 years. My kids love going here and I definitely recommend it. If you live in the city, I suggest getting the membership as it is very inexpensive and it'll be worth it.

It is a very nice technology and science museum with a large department that invites you to participate. There are also various demonstrations and experiments. But it is not enough to get to the technology museums in London, Munich and Berlin. As a Vancouvertourist with children, you should definitely visit it.

Coming from California, this is a rip-off Tech Museum. It's also much more targeted towards a younger audience (5-12). However, you'll be able to spend a lot of time here nonetheless, and definitely come if you have younger kids!

As an ASTC member, it was worth it. Not as big as I thought and it's pretty crowded.

The exhibits are well put together but not exactly filled with the same amount of activities as the one next to it.

I hope this event improves dramatically.

I hope this event improves dramatically.

We went specifically for the after dark, where the entire area is licenced.
While the idea is good, it turns out many finer aspects could be improved. I would have preferred a schedule or map of what was happening where and when.
The announcements were very difficult to hear and provided very little information.

As much as I enjoyed the presentations, I had the distinct impression that the exact same presentations are done for everyone, when at an adults only event, could we not take them that much further?

For the liquor, consider using different cups instead of filling the tiny tiny wine glasses full. Which were still disproportionate to the beer servings.

No mention of upcoming events, or participation from staff were evident. It felt more like I was an after hours burden than a guest - my first time ever to this venue.

The feature exhibit was great! I enjoyed learning more about the Canadian contribution to society.

Overall, if you want to enjoy a great feature exhibit, and check out a few other things, I recommend the venue, not the after dark event.

A great place for young children, but not that extensive or appealing for older teenagers. The exhibits are much smaller than the Ontario science Center. The membership, however, is well worth the cost for regularly bringing young children, particularly under 5 in the Wonder Gallery.

Fun. Kids had fun. Downside is price for 2 adults and a 5 year old is over $70. Spent day here. Craft station ran out of supplies and you can't take home what you make. A few broken down stations. Fun for the family though
