Awesome place! Tones of cool stuff to do for kids and adults!!
great experience!
we spend the whole day there with 5-9 and 11 y-o kids and we had so much fun with all different experiences!
a bit expensive but really worth it!
A good place for kids to learn things and spend energy.
Really great exhibits and the wonder exhibit is perfect for young kids.
My toddler really loves this place. Staff are nice and professional.
always good, less crowded with the reservation system
Fun and enjoyable, took my non English speaking cousin there, he wouldn't leave.
I've been going here since I was a kid and as an adult it still entertains me. Information is regularly updated, they have cool exhibits, and when private parties are held it's a real blast!
Amazing- always. Exhibits, interactive games, science featuring movies!
Always a fun place to go with the kids. Pixar exhibit is interesting for adults and maybe late teenagers. Should be free for kids under 12 or so.
They just added a section for 0-5 year olds love it!!!
Always have something to learn when you visit. Interesting for all ages
Great but a little pricey. Lots of learning exhibits for kids. Best for kids 4+
just the location on its own is beautiful and the vast amount of activities inside science world and around science world makes this a great tourist attraction
It's a fun place to go, but lack of new things on the inside except one or two exhibits makes it very boring and expensive, worth while maybe once every few years
we go every year with the kids and it's always a good time. little expensive but still worth it.
Awesome place! Good for all ages and very educational
This was nice experience with your friends in Science world
We gained more knowledge and how important healthy of the body
This is the great museum for the people where they could learn how to protect the future by the action through each mini games in this place
Thanks for the creator
That was a fun experience! We could play around while learning some new things. Too bad that the outdoor is closed due to cleaning.
While I would prefer to give my money to the Vancouver Aquarium and their efforts to rescue injured wildlife, the reality is Science World is a more engaging experience for kids. There's so much to be hands on with for a kid that they can be at Science World from open to close all weekend.
The food options are a little pricey but there's a McDonald's and an A&W across the street. The gift shop sells rather shabby products, but there's an exit you can use that skips it entirely so your kid doesn't tantrum over not getting a mound of cardboard for $40.
Had so much fun there! Simply go! And don't forget to eat a Surf'n Turf burger at Triple O's
Great exhibits, clean and a lot of things for many kids of various ages. My family really had a great time.
Great place to get your learn on. Impressive interactive design throughout the exhibits.
Mirror Maze was really neat. Time to upgrade some other exhibits that I remember being there over 10 years ago and are staring to show there age.
My two year old had a blast today at Science World. The wonder gallery did wonders for her.. the water trail.. the climb.. the cooking adventure.. the color regime.. the klaidescope.. she had a lot of fun..even the fire center stage demo was very fascinating.. the only downside was food options.. cannot believe that their vegetarian option sucks.. Vancouver being a cosmopolitan city, these guys are still not open for vegetarian options.. their burger was a mass of ketchup dumped on tomato and lettuce.. no other veggies involved.. if you are a vegetarian and planning to spend your day at Science World, make sure you pack a lunch with you!
We loved it! There are many families with young children but it is still interesting for young adults and adults. It's very interactive and fun.
We've had year memberships for our family the last 3 years. My kids love going here and I definitely recommend it. If you live in the city, I suggest getting the membership as it is very inexpensive and it'll be worth it.
So great for the little ones! My daughter had a birthday party here and everyone had a blast
It is a very nice technology and science museum with a large department that invites you to participate. There are also various demonstrations and experiments. But it is not enough to get to the technology museums in London, Munich and Berlin. As a Vancouvertourist with children, you should definitely visit it.
The buildings with distinctive appearance are suitable for taking pictures here, day and night. It is recommended to go to the nearby Village dock for a boat trip to False Creek.
Fun, hands on, kid friendly they can touch and learn.
Super!! A recommended place for young and old with an IMAX screen to learn different stories daily, objects to touch and use without problem as a children's museum kite.
Coming from California, this is a rip-off Tech Museum. It's also much more targeted towards a younger audience (5-12). However, you'll be able to spend a lot of time here nonetheless, and definitely come if you have younger kids!
As an ASTC member, it was worth it. Not as big as I thought and it's pretty crowded.
The exhibits are well put together but not exactly filled with the same amount of activities as the one next to it.
Science world has done a reno on the under five section and it is amazing. My two year old loves everything in it and a lot of the other exhibits too!
It was somewhat enjoyable, although it would be much more appealing for way younger children.
Great place for the kids but adults can learn lots too!
I haven't been here in awhile but I will always have fond memories of bringing my grandchildren to Science World.
There is a lot to discover here for children and adults. You can easily spend the whole day here. The hourly shows are also very appealing.
It was very small and it got pretty boring because there wasn't much to do
Small Pixar exhibition but was fun for adults and kids.
Always something to look at and you learn something new all the time
Had a great time with the kids and for a first time there was lots to see and do
First time without kids and it was weird lol. Still a lot of fun
Friendly, helpful staff. Interesting, engaging exhibits.
Good place ... lots of props for brain teasers ... games ... science ... good for kids and parents.
. transportation is easy
Went to the Disney Pixar exhibit, was great. The rest of the building was nice too, maintaining many things from when I was a kid (almost 10 years ago).
always lots of fun can easily spend the day there watching the shows and viewing everything, greta for kids and adults
I hope this event improves dramatically.
We went specifically for the after dark, where the entire area is licenced.
While the idea is good, it turns out many finer aspects could be improved. I would have preferred a schedule or map of what was happening where and when.
The announcements were very difficult to hear and provided very little information.
As much as I enjoyed the presentations, I had the distinct impression that the exact same presentations are done for everyone, when at an adults only event, could we not take them that much further?
For the liquor, consider using different cups instead of filling the tiny tiny wine glasses full. Which were still disproportionate to the beer servings.
No mention of upcoming events, or participation from staff were evident. It felt more like I was an after hours burden than a guest - my first time ever to this venue.
The feature exhibit was great! I enjoyed learning more about the Canadian contribution to society.
Overall, if you want to enjoy a great feature exhibit, and check out a few other things, I recommend the venue, not the after dark event.
Loved the place..it is worth the visit for 20easy bucks. planning to go to see the pixar next time
It's the BEST. Can't find anything more interesting if you are a science fan. Extremely kid friendly place. A definite visiting place in Vancouver. It's a full day visit place.
Easy access, to other places downtown, and a great staff
Always interesting and fun! So much to do and learn. This visit I enjoyed the dog show.
Hoped more for adults, most of the things seemed to be for children. The price was high.
A great place for young children, but not that extensive or appealing for older teenagers. The exhibits are much smaller than the Ontario science Center. The membership, however, is well worth the cost for regularly bringing young children, particularly under 5 in the Wonder Gallery.
Fun. Kids had fun. Downside is price for 2 adults and a 5 year old is over $70. Spent day here. Craft station ran out of supplies and you can't take home what you make. A few broken down stations. Fun for the family though
Really nice place for children.and cinema?OH my god!
My girlfriend took me here for the first time recently and I absolutely loved it. She was super excited to show me around and there was so much to do. I'm definitely buying a membership.
Too old, almost the same as the Stone Age
Hope to update
The science world is a great place for Pro-D Days and holidays. A lot of schools visit there for field trips. Staffs are welcoming and passionate.
Awesome place to take the kids or even for a place to learn.
Great place for the family! Can definitely stay the whole day here.
