The Pixar display attracted us. Turns out most of it is computerized technology on how things work. This was not for me. The statues were cool though. As for the rest of the place, good for kids.
It's too bad that the staff work to keep the place clean when visitors throw their paper towel on the floor next to the garbage bin.

Watching movies in the big screen was such a cool experience. This is one of the best places to show people around, everything is so interesting to look at and you ll learn a thing or two in a fun way.

One of the Best New Playgrounds for kids just outside the Science World. Climbing tower, big slide, Zip Line, Sand Pit, Water feature, music instruments, swings, awesome layout and outdoor scenery.

Despite the pandemic, this is a nice place to take your kids. They operate on a reservation system and people generally do keep distant from one another. A few issues: they're closed Monday and Tuesday. We paid for a family membership and aren't getting much use out of it as I'm with my children on Mondays and can't take them there. The exhibits can also be repetitive after a few times. One of the exhibits (forgot the name but it's the fun one for little tots) requires an additional and separate reservation to access (so reserve there first and then check out the other exhibits before returning)

I've never been there because it's too expensive, they had a free thing last Saturday about dogs and cats so finally had a chance to go in and check things out. The giant dinosaur was cool! Rock area was cool! my daughter had a good time! For me though over all I was kinda bored, I think I pictured something much better for the amount it costs to get in. The outside of the building though is awesome!

Interesting place - especially for children - which is much more like a museum.
Lots of experiments and an IMAX theater allow for a great experience.
Unfortunately - very expensive compared to museums in Germany.

This place is always fun to visit with family and friends. It has a variety of different activities that will engage audience members of all ages. The current feature display is Ripley's Believe-It-Or-Not, which provided us with some many wacky facts.
Downstairs they have many tables with different puzzles that are sure to work your mind. They also have a stage downstairs that hosts different performances on science related topics that will captivate young children.
The Body works exhibits teaches you all you wanted to know about how your body works. There is also another exhibit that features animals. Touch fur from bears, wolfs, and raccoons, or feel the skin of an alligator. Also, in here is a hollow tree that young kids can climb up. They host story times throughout the day
A favourite place to visit is Eureka! which has many fun activities with water, air, sound, and movement.
The BMO Sustainability zone has fun games that teach about saving the earth.

The OMNIMAX theatre shows some movies (at a cost) that are fun to watch. On the second floor the science theatre shows different movies during the day (at no extra cost).

The staff here are friendly and there is a place to purchase a meal if you'd like. 100% recommend coming to here for a fun and educational day!

I love the diversity between exhibits....there is truly a little something for everyone. My 10 month old loves it here, my 3 year old daughter has a blast, and I have to drag my husband out everytime. I recommend the annual pass- a place that can be visited monthly without losing its allure.

Great place for young at heart parents and kids. Lots of interactive experiments and demonstrations to keep everyone occupied. Try to avoid holidays as it can be difficult to get the most from the exhibits when lots of children just want to poke, push our press everything in sight! Quite expensive, but you could lose a morning in three.

Great

Been a very long time since I've gone and now it's with my own kids. Excellent exhibits. The only one I'd never visit again is the kids 1-4 play area. It's is chaotic and very easy to lose sight of your kids almost to a security flaw level. Food concession would be better if it offered a couple healthier options too.

Interesting bronze statue outside building of two of Canada's greatest scientists. Ernest McCullough and James Till who together demonstrated the existence of multipotent stem cells. Inexplicably they have been ignored by the Nobel committee.

From building towers to dog shows this place is one of my favorite in Vancouver! I ve been soo many times that I know the place by heart. Honestly fun not only for kids although very kids oriented! I would say maybe avoid going on days that are like holidays for schools if you want to be able to walk around more calmly! I would say science world probably take all day to go properly through all the rooms!

The few exhibits available are mobbed by the crowds of kids, who have the least interest in how they work. And if they did have some curiosity, only very simple information is provided.
Also, there is a complete lack of coherence in the concepts of the exhibits. By this I mean that as a group they don't convey a larger idea. Thus, missing a great opportunity to convey more complex concepts.
Last but not least, it is very expensive for the value you get and the feature exhibition is not even included in the main ticket price, potentially raising the price by $30 for a family of 4.

Nice
