This is undoubtedly one of the best experiences I've had in Vancouver, it's great for both adults and kids and you'll want to take as much time as possible to get to know more about each exhibition... you won't get a day to know everything completely, so I recommend you set aside at least two days to visit it or leave very early a day from home to get to know what's in the place and familiarize yourself with the history of everything that's here.

The outside view is very beautiful, inside there is not much to see and several interactive things do not work, at the bottom there is an exhibition of the history of video games and on top of things of the human body. It is not worth much.

I have always loved and always will love Science World! There are so many places to explore! I went this weekend and it was fun to be a kid again. We had tickets to see an OmniMax film, unfortunately, just before our showing the projector broke down. Science World staff remained calm and expressed sympathy to those who were quite upset. They gave us a refund for the film. Although i was looking forward to the film, I was very satisfied with how staff handled the situation : )

Love it

Fantastic science museum, allow a few hours. We booked a science party for our son's 11th which was great and it was good value for money. For anyone familiar with the exploratorium in San Francisco, we found it similar , just as good.

Great place for kids but extremely put off by the fact that they charge 25.00 per adult... if anything the escorts taking the children should be cheaper than the ones enjoying it and participating in the kids stuff, I felt like it s just a huge money grab.

Did a work placement here for 3 weeks. All staff truly enjoy working with the public and take all your comments into consideration. Everyone tries their absolute best to keep the place friendly, welcoming, safe and fun! Go visit, its best to go with an open and curious mind!

Very expensive for what it is, honestly going to science centers in other cities shows you how out of date ours is, it's been the same majority exhibits for the past 5 years at least with occasional new pop up ones.
Worth it to go once but save your money afterwards.

Amazing place for kids and adults alike. The membership is well worth it. It never gets old especially for kids. You can spend a few hours just in one part and come back another day to hang out in another part. The new outdoor play area is phenomenal although only open in summer. Best times to go are week days after 12.

Me and my family love coming here. It is always a nice way to spend a rainy Vancouver afternoon. There are a tonne of hands on activities for the kids to do. We saw and Omnimax movie on the rainforest, pea Ly some of the best footage I have ever seen in an omnimax film. The bears catching salmon footage was incredible. Science world has recently updated some exhibits, my six year old loved trying to beat all of the feats of strength. One of the current touring exhibits is a maze. It was fun running through the maze and it provided some excellent photo opportunities. They always have live demonstrations so make sure to look at the schedule to see which ones you might want to see. We always bring our own snacks. There is a triple O s which is tasty, but can get pricey.

Have fun, and consider getting a membership. Because there are a bunch of other science centers you can visit for free as there are a some that have reciprocal agreements.

This is an amazing place to visit. Science world is for young and old. The area where it s located, on the Seawall of Vancouver, is beautiful to walk or bicycle and take in the amazing views.

Best place on Earth (up to now) to learn about the world around you! Not just for kids but it s also for anyone who is curious about science, regardless of their age and knowledge.

They have various designated space for different areas in Science. They know how to turn boring theory to such realistic and fun experience by providing interative and educative models and games literally everywhere.

At some time of the day, they will have a show for one topic. I was there somewhere between 3pm to 4pm, and there was a Physics show. The employee was very friendly and knowledgable. He really showed his passion for his job, for physics and also for kids.

Staffs here are very well-trained. I asked a dumb question about an animal and one staff was still very happy to answer lol. I asked for direction all the time and every single person I asked was very willing to help!

Will go back to explore more deeply :) Science world, here i come (again)!

Back in the day when I lived in my sailboat outside of Science World, I was endlessly fascinated by all the exhibits and shows that would feature here.

100% recommend for all members of the family, if you can find a time that's not too busy.

A science center where you can put your hands on exhibits and test yourself. Exhibits include, for example, a harmonograph, a heat-sensitive camera, various optical illusions, various means by which one can test one's physical abilities [flexibility, endurance, jump height, response speed ...], etc. The gift shop sells mainly educational and developing toys. The center is more aimed at younger visitors.

Great for kids. Went as slightly older adults expecting a bit more and was extremely disappointed. Don't go without kids. The cinema was fantastic though and the spirit bear film was brilliant.

Definitely an engaging and inspiring place for people of all ages interested in science. However, it became evident that this was place was heavily geared towards children, and for the hefty surcharge to enter, I didn t enjoy it nearly as much as I would have hoped. But still, science is a fascinating field and I always love diving into it, and this was interactive enough to find some entertainment throughout the exhibits.

If you have kids, bring them here. If you are a big kid, take yourself there. There are plenty of games to tease the mind, arrays of exhibitions to awe the thoughts, tonnes of activities to test the skills and to learn new knowledge. Good rotations of educational movies to enjoy when the body is exhausted. All walk of life and all ages will find this place exciting. Extra Note: A great place to bring a date. ;)
