We were for the family day in the Semperoper. Historically beautiful building and you should once seen from inside or have visited a performance.
We were for the family day in the Semperoper. Historically beautiful building and you should once seen from inside or have visited a performance.
A highlight for old and young. Classic opera can also be enjoyed at the top of the last row with small binoculars!
Very impressive building. The lighting is particularly pleasant at night. Little traffic because there is no through road.
A beautiful opera house. You have to have seen that, even if you are not a big fan of opera performances, etc.
very beautiful theater, both inside and outside, along the Elba river. it is on the Theaterplatz which is also very nice. Moreover it is one of the most important theaters of the entire Europe
I had the pleasure to get a private tour as I had left the opera screening prematurely because of the performance (modern opera). The usher fully understood my decision and offered me this opportunity behind the scenes.
Unfortunately never been in, but always admired from the outside
Dresden is a charming historic city !! Even with my injured foot, I walked and saw so many beautiful buildings, the cobblestones in the historic streets, the walking carts, in short it is a beautiful city to see !! I loved it. Would go back often ...
The Semperoper is always worth a visit. The Westseid story was a great experience. A young team that understands its subject. A lot of power and very good voices round off the whole thing. I'm excited. The entire audience has rewarded accordingly. Simply a successful Saturday night.
A must for every Dreden visitor, a place that one should have seen!
A very impressive building. The guide is highly recommended!
One of the most beautiful opera houses in the world
Very worthwhile to join a guided tour there. For 11 and 7 reduced you get a lot of information and experience the charm of the building up close. The art there is amazing, the next visit will hopefully be announced with an opera visit. The acoustics is one of the few points that can not be experienced during the visit.
The tour guide lives for the Semperoper - that's what she conveyed with every word. Despite restoration work, the guide was fantastic. The building also makes a lot from the outside!
A great experience in a simply great building - the nutcracker - made really fantastic. Just a dream to dream.
A beautiful building with exelenten conceptions. TIP Watching the Internet on the Internet and buying cheap tickets is sometimes cheaper than getting in.
The tour is entertaining, unfortunately more than 30 people were at the tour at 3.30pm. This proved difficult for the explanations.
I was too cold. Parquet.
And I think it would be better if there was an announcement that there was a break and how long.
Many people were irritated.
Wonderful setting. The visit was a great experience. Unique. I can only recommend a visit to the Semperoper to anyone who is in Dresden.
Online ticket purchases by mail order are impossible with the Semper Opera. It only takes almost 4 weeks until the cards are sent at all. Then you suddenly came back undeliverable within 3 days. But you will not receive a message about it either. Only after several requests, you will receive the message that you are ready to pick up. You can send a renewed but it is immediately pointed out again on significant shipping times. JUST AWFUL!
Thus, a possibly beautiful evening in advance of the random walk!
Today's children's tour "With all the senses through the Semperoper" 14:45 pm with Paula was not only interesting for the children, but also for the adults. Thank you for the successful holiday afternoon.
The guide was very good and you explained everything well. Absolutely to suggest.
Very nice performance of the Magic Flute experienced.
We had a tour in this interesting building. We can highly recommend the tour to also learn the story behind the great building.
Super great ambience, fantastically beautiful opera. I can recommend the tour in advance, very interesting. And during the break a delicious gin and tonic.
We highly recommended that we had a great performance and the opera is just great what a beautiful bat in such a house thank you very much
Guided tour of the Semperoper is absolutely recommendable.
... Swiatynia Sztuki .... Opera ... A unique atmosphere ...
Nice to see but a poor tour for a relatively large amount of money
Nice ambience, impressive performance (Lucia di Lammermoor) I find the 4 system fee bold for an online (!!) ticket. What is that supposed to be ? There is no additional charge for ordering tickets by phone, although the personnel expenditure is certainly higher. So is absolutely out of date
Very imposing equipment! A guided tour is worthwhile in any case
Great baroque ambience, silly stage design (clowns) with the magic flute. You don't have to do this to yourself!
From the front hui, from the back pooh. Was wg renovation not to visit.
Great highlight in a beautiful town worth seeing. An absolute must with a guided tour of the different areas with the highlight Big House.
An unforgettable experience through a wonderful staging
Great opera house. Unfortunately, the guide was a bit disappointing. No look behind the scenes and no one in the box.
Beautiful building, also the employees are verywell educated to know them work very good.
A great place for a cultural holiday. Impressions after the orchestra are wonderful and you can also enjoy the interior.
Imposing building, great performance. I will be back the next time I am in Dresden.
Very nice theater. Unfortunately I only saw it from outside ..
A very special visit with a unique experience guaranteed!
Beautiful building, great orchestra and interesting guided tour
We were here in the run-up to the performance of Nutcracker. The Semperoper is definitely worth a visit.
A dream. Madame Butterfly. Pavarotti couldn't do better. Sooo nice.
An opera house with a long and glorious history in Germany, and one of the most important opera houses in Germany. It was designed by the architect Gottfried Semper with a new era Renaissance style opera. The opera house, which was destroyed in the Second World War, has become more brilliant after being rebuilt. The opera house that has staged masterpieces by Richard Strauss (R. Strauss), Wolf-Ferrari (Wolf-Ferrari) and other masters will surely reproduce its past glory in the future.
The opera house with the architectural style of the Italian Renaissance makes Dresden the center of music in one fell swoop. Among them, the German Symphony Orchestra was renamed the Dresden State Opera Orchestra when performing operas. It was founded in Dresden in 1548 and is the oldest symphony orchestra in the world.
Construction (or completion) year: 1838 1841 AD
The opera house has 2,000 seats and premiered many famous operas, such as Wagner s "Le Enzi" (1843) and "Tanghausen" (1845); Richard Strauss s "Salome" (1905) Years), "Rose Knight" (1911) and "The Silent Woman" (1935). After being bombed in 1945, the theater was changed to continue performances in the City Hall. It was rebuilt in 1948 and reduced to 1,131 seats. Kempe, Konvicini, Suitner, Sanderling, Kurz, Bromstedt and others have served as conductors. In 1816, Weber (CarlMariavon Weber) took over as manager, and was reorganized and reorganized, while paying great attention to the performance of German opera.
After the war, Dresden was occupied by the former Soviet Union and became the regional capital of the former East Germany. The Germans are more diligent and dedicated to rebuilding their homes on the ruins. Although the Dresden State Symphony Orchestra once moved to Brambach, there were already concerts five months after the bombing. What is even more rare is that the government has spared no effort in supporting the restoration of cultural activities. The city government even moved the city hall out for use by the opera house. In August, the first opera after the war, Mozart's fresh, bright and optimistic "Le Figaro's Wedding" was staged here.
Cultural property from East Germany there is nothing more to say. The Semperoper is a work of art.
We took the English guided tour. We learned what materials they used to build the reconstructed opera house. We saw the inside of the theatre and some of the art work. It was 1 hr long due to lots of questions. No interior pictures unless you pay 3 Eu. Free bag check if desired. We enjoyed!
A feast for the eyes, great sound in the building, no matter where you sit
One of Europe's most distinctive classical theatres, a must-see destination in Dresden. I want to know the love and hate of Wagner, the father of German opera, Richard Strauss's sadness. The breakthroughs and masterpieces of architectural history, or the decorative style of the beautiful Rococo for the Baroque architecture, must be visited. The effect is extraordinary, far beyond the golden hall.
A beautiful building, you should definitely take a look at Swan Lake
Great! Guidance short and you can not look behind the scenes but still recommended
