Very nice building, interesting history and architecture
The place is very beautiful. We found no other way to see him inside but to go to an opera. It was very interesting, even if it's not my style of music.
The best opera house I know! DEMONSTRATIONS of any kind should be avoided!
a wonderful 1st concert "Variation" ... finally another exhilarating musical experience with the Sk, despite the fact that the line-up is unbelievably strong. The program is balanced, each segment in its own way. Thanks to the soloists, the conductor, the band
It is a shame that the staging can destroy the entire joy of visiting the Semper Opera and enjoying the music. I can only recommend a visit to the Semperoper as a tour and for concerts.
If you are in Dresden you need to go especially if you need to fill around two hours. The place and pieces are amazing and so interesting. You will learn a lot about the German rulers and the objects they had to show the wealth and prestige.
I was not thrilled and I did not like these soles that are there because they were just disgusting! and that's why there are zero stars from me
September 8, 2019 - holiday in the Dresden Opera gave me the opportunity to visit this magnificent edifice. I caught a few moments of this visit and I offer you the opportunity to see them.
What a great feeling to be able to sit in this impressive building.
We were performing with Fidelio, was skeptical at first but it was a well played and sung piece. Thumbs up, we'll be back.
It was very nice to see the opera from the inside and to learn a lot about it through a guided tour.
Great, even if (or maybe ... just because ...?) Is currently a game break and everything is being cleaned and renovated. Very competent and entertaining tour.
The Semper Opera is a must when you're in Dresden. Pure Culture.
Beautiful building. We had a great guide. Thanks a lot!
The Semperoper ball was again a very nice experience. Next, until next year.
Only the person holding a performance ticket can enter only in the hall (You can pre-purchase from official website) Orchestra was seen from the 3rd floor side seat. There are few Asian customers and it is quite conspicuous, so as much care as possible is necessary even if it is not perfect dress. It is a sacred place of classical music.
A jewel of the muse. A trip to Dresden without a visit to the opera did not take place, so to speak. So secure tickets in time.
What should one say? To see a reportage about Dresden on TV and to be told how beautiful everything is, or even to be there and be amazed, are just two pairs of shoes.
The city, the Elbe, the friendly people and the relaxed atmosphere
... all very worth seeing. The Semperoper must be seen, either with performance or just as a sightseeing ... just spectacular !!
The Motel One at the Postplatz, in the usual best quality, offers itself as a center near overnight accommodation.
Simply a wonderful opera! Great tour guide booked! Satisfied all round!
Was for the first performance in 2019 "La Boheme" in the house. A truly impressive building, very nice and tasteful atmosphere. The fact that single marble columns are only painted does not hurt the beauty and harmony.
It is an experience in the beautiful Semperoper Dresden z. B. CARMEN to hear and see. Thank you!!!
We were in Swan Lake and absolutely thrilled with the staging.
Great. Definitely worth a visit. Dresden is just great.
Excellent ... created all the emotions with the "MAGIC FLUTE". Simply divine ... the atmosphere, the game the brilliant music
Always worth a visit very historical something for the eye!
A magnificent opera house that is hard to miss while walking around the city. It is located near the Holy Trinity Cathedral, the Royal Palace and Zwinger. In the vicinity of the opera, many other monuments and green areas.
If this opinion was helpful for you, give me a paw up :)
Maybe before the war she was beautiful but now needs renewal.
Beautiful old opera building and the operas there are all well done
A very beautiful place, the architecture is breathtaking and at night it adds mysticism
Closed, of all things if the Bavarians want to go in.
The opera house is beautiful. The service during the breaks went smoothly. TOSCA was awesome. The opera visit was the highlight of our trip to Dresden and worth every euro. (Approx. 120 euros p.p. in 1st place, first row, 13th place).
Was in the Klara in the Semper Opera over coffee and cake! The lunch menu is also highly recommended!
Hello everybody. We had been given tickets for the Nutcracker Ballet. In one word: grandiose. The atmosphere, the staff, the art. Everything perfect. There is nothing to complain about - apart from the toilets, which may be too small. It is important to bring enough time with you, as crowds in the cloakroom are often announced after the performance.
Impressive building, but you can definitely work on the friendliness of the staff.
Extremely nice to look at (building: inside outside), during the breaks you can get out of the building, the building is air-conditioned.
I consider the cost structure of the cards to be fair.
Students are given the opportunity to use the remaining contingents. Drinks and small dishes can be purchased. Cloakroom is free. Courteous staff.
A little dream !!!! Very nice, the events are well organized, always a nice experience!
From the outside nice, unfortunately, came not amn.
What can spoil the evening are drinking straws in bottles & PEGIDA neither (AfD) .This opera does not need to shy away from comparison with other houses.
The entry of 11 is immensely exaggerated.
The tour lasted 20 minutes and was a "race".
The guide was not understood, you only saw the foyer and the theater, which has just been renovated and was mostly covered by a tarpaulin and this also caused noise.
It is clear to me that it has to be restored, but that this is not mentioned when buying tickets and the full price is asked, I find quite brazen.
Sometimes with live band performances! One hundred points! It is also great for taking pictures!
A good notch below the Vienna opera house but interesting nonetheless. Sacred renovation work after the second war ...
To be recommended again and again. The only drawback: the sanitary facilities are too tight
A buddy bought his parents tickets for a performance that the operator of the Semperoper has now canceled. Since he did not get the full purchase price reimbursed, he asked why he only got part back. The answer was that a fee as part of the ticket prices had already been transferred directly to the operator of the online shop and therefore the money could not be paid back. What kind of hollow excuse is that and what does a customer have to do with it?
Certainly one of the most beautiful opera houses in the world.
Absolutely overwhelmed admission, too few toilets -> very long queues also for men. After I spent almost all the time trying to go to the toilet somehow, I had to buy water because of the very bad and stuffy air. You can no longer sit in your seat with a water bottle. Well, I drank it quite quickly and wanted to go to my seat about 3 minutes after the 3rd gong, which was right at the entrance. The very arrogant staff refused me access and was not allowed to watch the second half !!!!! 99 paid for the card !! Thanks for the unforgettable evening. I have never experienced something like that. The head of his staff was extremely unprofessional. I felt like I was in kindergarten. I would not have expected in such a house.
One of the best opera houses in Germany. Good place to visit if in Dresden for more days.
We liked it very much. Beautiful building and the tour was very informative.
Certainly, opera plays staged here are top flight, but when it comes to visiting the building with a guide, it is below expectations. Walking through all corridors is far too long and the guide tells you too long. There is too much information, which makes them uninteresting, and visitors are forced to constantly stand in one place and look at what is actually nice, but what has already been seen. I had high hopes that after entering the audience it will be less boring. Unfortunately, it was also possible to sit there, which resulted in my fight with automatically closing eyes. They didn't even reveal the scene for us. A fascinating place created with artistry, but spoiled by tourism.
