Gorgeous opera house in the middle of city centre, Dresden.
Very nice opera that can also be clearly demonstrated to the layperson with a qualified tour. The opera is so splendid and elegant that you have to see it.
By far the most beautiful brewery in Germany, only the beer is not the best.
took part in a guided tour, very interesting and many questions could be answered. I am thrilled with this work of art and a visit to the Semperoper is a must when visiting Dresden.
Impressive! You can't say more about it. Personally, I think it's a shame that the best seats are only for members (or guests) of the state government!
An impressive building and a great photo motif. But you should also have seen the Semperoper from the inside, either on a tour or a piece.
Have a guided tour, was worth seeing and interesting
West Side Story a piece with a bang and the house is anyway the blast ...
The Dresden Semperoper is very beautiful, with a fantastic style, copied from the fascinating Vienna Opera (capital of Austria). I watched some shows here, like the "Children's Christmas Work" which was beautiful. Inside, the space is very well decorated, with impeccable lighting and acoustics.
Very nice pieces with very good quality and if I spontaneously at the box office buy me a standing card, I always had a nice evening. Better to plan ahead, but then the joy is even greater. German and English are displayed and so I personally find the acoustics in fourth place best and not so good in the stalls. However, in the floor the acting quality is better to see and to understand, as if I sit at the top.
Very nice interior, one of the very big opera houses in the world!
Wonderful, great building, nice staff and a wonderful opera.
A guided tour of the Semperoper was also part of our visit this year in Dresden. For 11 per person we could look at the beauties of this building. Class.
Beautiful architecture but it was closed when I visited on Christmas Day.
The Semperoper has to be seen. Unfortunately there are no performances because of Corona, there are currently only visits. Very unfortunate for everyone involved, especially of course for the artists.
A beautiful building and an architectural feat, inside and out. A visit is not cheap but definitely worth every euro. Of course, an event (opera, musical, ballet) is also worth visiting, as the acoustics are wonderful and the orchestra plays very well.
Super guided tour by an architect of reconstruction. Very informative and educational
The tour lasts an hour and is worth it. You get a lot of background information, but unfortunately there is no way to look backstage or to get an insight into the technology.
Guided tour without explanation of the many beautiful pictures
SUPER SUPER SUPER
La Boheme Fantastisch!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Overlooking the banks of the river Elbe, dominating the Theaterplatz just steps from the Zwinger, we find the Semperoper, the Dresden Opera House, with its refined and charming grandeur. The building is certainly one More
I was not in it unfortunately. From the outside you could not see much
Dresden s opera tradition dates back to the Renaissance. The first-class architectural art and sound effects make the gorgeous Dresden Opera House (Semperoper) the pinnacle of the architectural art of the 19th century theater. Later, the original site was rebuilt as it was, and exquisite ornaments and ornaments were retained. The musical tradition and high artistic standards made it one of the famous opera houses.
Attractions Around Semper Opera House
Very nice building and an amazing performance. We bought the tickets couple months ahead online, which worked out very well. The acoustics of the theater were very good. Washrooms were as accessible. Unfortunately we did not manage to get something to drink due to the long queues before and during the performance. They should definitely stop the espresso machine, it took so long and that s why we could get a drink. Next time I ll take something with me I guess.
Have taken a tour today. Highly recommended and entertaining.
Absolutely worth a visit, just because of the architecture wxhon
Wonderful place to visit, inside was luxurious with a fully of detail. Outside is great and romantic place. The house was made by detail of considering for everything to make a sound more nice. I can sure everyone will feel sense of love in here.
Wonderful opera house with a unique surround sound. A big bravo to the artists of the opera we visited.
Very interesting building with history and interesting stagings.
Yesterday at the Semperopernball on the Theaterplatz. A beautiful event.
Very nice to make a guided tour .... very interesting ...
I participated in a guided tour. It is not cheap, but the Semperoper is very impressive. Very nice again. It was worth it. My next goal is to witness a performance there once.
Great building. Doesn't just come across well in beer advertising.
The night view is very good at night. The lights around this building come in at night. The best night view spot in Dresden
A dream: the building, the acoustics, the ambience, the singers with their great voices and performances, the incredible orchestra.
TOSCA was more conventionally staged, but big voices!
You have to see a very special piece of German history
The Semperoper is very interesting. I recommend a visit to the Semperoper
See high quality ambience. Evening wear is appropriate
Not only impressive from the outside - a visit is worthwhile when you are in Dresden.
The performance of Mozart's Magic Flute was world class
You have to see it once. The tour is definitely recommended
After repeated disappointments, I hadn't been there for about 2 years. This affects both very "contemporary" stagings that only correspond musically to the original and ranges from repulsive clothing of some guests (jeans and polo shirt) to unreasonable footwear from the underground garage to the opera house. Also in the new schedule I find no production that can encourage me to visit the opera, unfortunately. Up until about 15 years ago we had a subscription and 25 years ago the clothes of the audience were correct.
The greatest opera house in Germany and great performances!
Great building, Baroque, simply romantic and beautiful, absolute landmark in the city center of Dresden
Fantastic! I have been there 7 times and I am always thrilled.
Tip for students and schoolchildren: If a performance is not sold out (experience has shown that there are ~ 100 free spaces), there are reduced evening tickets 30 minutes before the start of the performance (parquet for 10).
Absolutely recommendable, but please only with a guide otherwise you will miss a lot.
I stayed in Dresden on Wednesday, December 20, 2017. It was very nice
Wow, one should have been to the traditional house once. We recommend booking a small tour before a performance.
Very nice and interesting tour.
I can recommend it to everyone.
A very beautiful opera, lovingly restored with an eye to the detail, or rebuilt.
A visit to the Semperoper is mandatory for everyone who visits Dresden. The imposing building is a masterpiece both inside and out. If you don't have tickets for an opera, you should at least take a tour of the opera house.
Very imposing house, superbly restored, the one-hour tour was done with passion. I will come back as a visitor to a performance.
