Nice place but the road conditions should change wow. If it rains, good luck getting up there.

My stay at Satama was great. The room are well-furnished and comfortable and you cannot beat the view. The restaurant is a little pricey although it is the be expected as it is aiming to be an upscale experience; I do wish they had more options however. The breakfast buffet is "okay". I have to note that access can be challenging if you so bot have a "capable" vehicle.

The road is terribly bad !!!! Superb view, on the other hand

Very nice hotel to stay! with large space. I brought a few friends and family to the pool while staying there, and it was fun. I admire the view of Cap-Haitian from the heights.
The staff are friendly.
As for service they need a little more work on that area. Took a min to my food & drink.
Besides that everything is amazing.

This is a very beautiful, well kept hotel. I felt very comfortable & safe staying here. Very clean & accomodating. The food is great, WIFI reception is great. Bed, very comfortable. While I would recommend this hotel & stay here again, several things can be improved or added: more TV channels & better reception, full glass door for shower, screen door for balcony, pen/pads in each room, face cloths, travel desk that is fully functional, post cards, sell snacks (candy, gum, chips, nuts) in gift shop, rooms or bar, BACON, BACON, BACON for breakfast.

The hotel is stylish and its elevators including the rooms operate with card sensor. However, the customer service is terrible and the staff is very slow to serve you. All Rooms service are $10 plus tips. Morning breakfast is $10 plus tips if the waiter serves you. You'll get two toilets paper and 2 bottles water per day.

Only went for lunch. Very nice view. The food for the price was a letdown. The mocktail was not bad but was not freshly pressed as indicated.

Good experience. But internet was limited and a lil bit slow. Also very poor signal for mobile phone there. Overall it was a good time. Liked the breakfast.

Gorgeous hotel, beautiful rooms with one of the most comfortable beds I have slept on at a hotel with great AC. Food was great both Haitian and non Haitian cuisine. The service was great & definitely a spot I will be returning for a longer stay!!!

It's a nice hotel but the breakfast is not so good and beside the pool there's no activities to entertain the guests

I just came back from there the hotel is nice & clean friendly staff excellent service I took my family there last week for their very first visit in Haiti they love it.
but I must also say they need to work in the kitchen there need a little more variety in the menu and the food need adjustments.it was 8 of us traveling we had to eat elsewhere at Boucanier everyday when I woul love to stay in and eat at the hotel but the food wasn t satisfying to us so we ate elsewhere.
the road i think that s the only reason I may not go back the road need to be lowered

Though overpriced compared to US standards, I strongly recommend this hotel because it is the best you can get in town.

Pros: ocean view that dominates to the city as well, pool with infinite view, large private balcony, safety features with armed guards... besides your personal room no one can access your block without a valid key card, quiet and peaceful location, proximity to town, excellent food & drinks and priced somewhat on par with what you'd pay in the US, excellent breakfast (included in your fares), nice bar and dining room, stunning outdoor decor.

Cons: overpriced just like the rest of the hotels in town, rooms with poor interior quality, bed frame has stains and the whole bedding is of cheap materials and very squeaky, rooms are not soundproof (you can easily eavesdropping on your neighbor vice versa), steep grades leading up to the hotel (check your breaks and get a car with good engine if driving), poor salad selection, no microwave, Your overall experience will compensate for all the cons.

My family and I stayed here during our trip to Au Cap, Haiti. We booked three rooms on the 5th floor. Best views ever of the city and the ocean. Great amenities... great and friendly staff. We loved our stay. The guy standing next to the pool is my lovely, funny 75 year-old father. He enjoyed his stay very much. We will definitely return to Hotel Satama.

A hard slop to get to this lux hotel, but at the end you will feel at the top of the world, watching the whole city again and again.

Superb room with breathtaking views. The places are clean the beds comfortable, our room is very big. The food is good a nice stay. On the other hand the road is very difficult to practice and the indications are non-existent.

I am planning to stay at this hotel but do not click on the website link from Google because it will say that your phone is affected with the virus and the site is a scam this needs to be fixed as soon as possible! Be AWARE!!

The best hotel in Haiti with a welcoming staff, beautiful rooms, views are amazing , service is top notch and the food is surprisingly great considering that hotel food is usually ok. I ve been going there for more than a year now and the entire staff has been consistently great at providing great service.

First of all i love the location where it is and the city. On the heigth of the mountain Satama's position is great you can dominate all the east of the city and the sight is amazing. I let you imagine how is the rooms and the services.

Excelent hotel: Of recent construction and with intelligent space distribution is the top option in Cap Haitien. Breakfast included and other safe and delicious items on the menu. Fully recommended.

Nice place to stay! Very nice hotel with large space. I tried the restaurant, a unique taste and very appetizing. Come and admire some of the beauty of the cape from the heights. Satama conquered my heart.

I love Satama. If you go to cap-haitien and want to fully enjoy your stay, you should go to Satama. It is a new place and it has a nice swimming pool with ocean view. They have a nice garden. The food is delicious. It's a first class hotel. The room are clean, nice and the beds are really comfortable. They have many parking places. You need to have good car to go there cause it is on top of a mountain but the road is perfect. Don't miss it during your hollydays.

Redefines living in the mountains and having a Great sea view

Can t help feeling home when I m here !!!! Lovely! Beautiful views that make worth waking up at 6am to watch. Good buffet with both Haitian and general breakfast items, comfy beds, hot water, AC, everything apparently on with solar system and light generators which we all appreciate, staff and owners are both super sweet. Their food is ANOTHER thing best best best. Pool also shows a beautiful view of the city. The only bad thing about the place is the way up. Part of the road is not ready and on rainy days it makes it hard for vehicles to climb up there.

Idk about others but for me that first real 4 stars hotel in haiti

I had a great experience here. Everything was cool from the reception to the hotel service to the food. You can't go wrong plus you get a great view of Cap-Haitian a.k.a. O-CAP!

This was an extraordinary experience at an exceptionally extraordinary hotel. Satama Hotel gave us the experience to remember for a lifetime and I say this from the heart. The employees, Telemaque, Linda, Stephanie, Glaine, Jeff, Chenier, Altidor, Meme, the driver, the bellman and the restaurant manager and staff, were all so remarkable. They all played an important role in marking our stay comfortable. You will not regret the choice if you choose to stay here at this hotel. The hotel is exactly what you see in the pictures, a modern beauty. To Satama and its Employees a special THANK YOU! To Sabrina as well as Linda you guys are amazing, thank you all again.

It is a Hotel recently installed in Cap-Haitien which has an extraordinary view, to visit it is a dream of many people. There is an entrance and an exit. It has a spacious parking lot and from the parking lot one can easily access the reception which is very nice to see. It is a construction and a perfect place to reside in it. As it is located in the mountains the road is a bit difficult but accessible .

Very classy, clean, looks like a 5 star hotel. The employers too cool and very professional!
