The place is beautiful, the beds are comfortable, staff is amazing. BUT you are half a mile up a mountain and it's not really possible to walk to the town below and taxis up and down are expensive

Satama Hotel by far was a beautiful place to stay. The view from the lobby looking over Haiti was absolutely stunning. The view from my room didn't disappoint either. I'm a bit upset that I wasn't able to experience the pool, but it looked amazing as well. The staff was very polite and welcoming, The Sleeping quarter were extremely comfortable.

Make sure you bring your own face cloth though, they didn't provide those. Did know if it was a cultural thing.

I didn't have an opportunity to really judge the food. I ate mostly cereal, and eggs. the group I was with mainly ate in near by restaurants.

The hotel is massive, bright, and airy. Being located on top of the mountain, expect to get a nice view of the sea or the city, relaxing peacefulness, and fresh air from wherever you may be. The room we got is huge with a beautiful city view, the beds comfortable, the towels and linens are fresh, there is absolutely nothing to complain about and everything to brag about. All the staff are very friendly albeit very professional. One of the highlights of this lovely property is the infinity pool overlooking the ocean and the city, with gorgeous mountains serving as the backdrop.

We stayed here last November 29, 2018 but unfortunately wasn't able to put a review.

We were there for a 3 day workshop, hotel and rooms are nice and comfortable but food was awful. Everything was salty even the vegetables. We were a big group and total disappointment with the colleagues. Simple Instructions are missing how to navigate in the hotel. Ki you have to stay there to work give your staff the option to eat outside for dinner.

Pampered by the customer service employees, Every day, the superb view of Cape Town cheered my early morning (too beautiful).
The bar closes too early * 10 p.m. *
the breakfast does not reflect the Capoise lunch, not to say Haitian ... the coffee served should be that of our land in my humble opinion .... otherwise I had a great experience!

Excellent views of the bay and cap-haitien city. Reason for 4 instead of 5 is the hotel is a sort of an island into itself. Its away from the city and up a steep hill. Thus, anything you book thru the hotel is marked up at least a 100%. Tours, taxi, shopping - all come at a steep premium if you can't speak creole. Just about anywhere prices are negotiable, but not at the hotel. We ended up using local connections we made to book everything and saved ourselves about 50+% off the hotel prices. We actually supported the local commerce by circumventing the hotel. Get to know a local! Dont be an arrogant tourist. Haitians are wonderful people with respect for all.

Such terrible service for a nice appearing place. Food service to over an hour to bring to the table, was of poor quality, and two of my friends did not receive their food at all. When brought to the attention of the lady server, she claimed they did not even order, although we were a group and all others served.

I'm currently staying at this Hotel, Beautiful place and wonderful view . The Front desk associate it's semi Friendly and the server on the other hand are Amazing they will go above and beyond to accommodate their guests.
The Hotel management need more hospitality classes, they are anti social and need to be more aware of who their guesses are ,and that will help them build clientele in the Future .
Please be more Friendly especially when you just open your door that will create more Businesses

A modern and sleek hotel overlooking at Cap Haitian bay. The view, its main asset, is simply stunning. The roead to get atop the hill needs aome work. Also, customer service might need some improvements.

Satama Hotel leaves the hotel monotony of Cape Haitian; presents a new futuristic vision of lodging in this town.
Satama hotel is our pride and our tourist face in the little hotel area of Cape Haitian.
Its location, its view, its comfort are what makes it unique in this Town
Once again, welcome to my town and have a lot of success

Great hotel tucked up in the mountains overlooking Cap-Haitien. It's about 20 minutes from the airport. The rooms are bright and clean. The bedding is soft. Breakfast is included. Excellent food coming from the kitchen. Highlights include curried goat and griot (fried pork). The chef is a talented guy. There is an infinity pool and bar on the lower level. We came with a tour group provided by Le Getaway and had an awesome time! Totally recommend making your way out to Labadee if you like the beach. Would stay again.

very modern look, nice rooms, bed, duvet, cushions super nice, cool place, beautiful view. But it had just opened a few months before, so they still had a lot to learn about hospitality. Really basic breakfast. More

Brand new Luxury hotel in Cap Haitian. Redefining the hospitality offering in the city. Perched on the top of a mountain, of offers great views of the city and the beautifull bay of Cap Haitian.

My favourite place in Cap-Haitien! I stayed there 3 nights and it really felt like home. Clean rooms. Wifi. The pool is perfect, warm, with a ocean view afar. The staff is nice. The breakfast is included but not lunch or dinner. But you can order the tastiest meals at the pool bar/resto. I wish they sold sandals and bikinis at the little shop though.
Another thing that really impressed me is their taxi service. I needed to go to town to buy a couple things and I took their bus taxi for a roundtrip. Not only did the driver agree to take me and wait for me, he also walked around in the streets with me (it was my very first time in the city) and he helped me purchase everything before we went back to the hotel. Five star!

One of the nicest if not the nicest hotel in Cap-Haitien. The only complaint is the state of the road which makes it difficult and potentially dangerous to get to in inclement weather. The service is top-notch and the view is breathtaking.

The Satama Hotel was the perfect location for my guests and for my dream wedding in Haiti! The hotel offered an experience that was so memorable for me, for so much of my family that hadn't been to Haiti in years and for my friends that had never been to Haiti! The hotel offers amazing views, clean and modern room and the food is sooo delicious!!!! I especially loved that the breakfast offered my guests different dishes each morning. All of the staff were kind and courteous.
As a wedding venue, I can't praise the general manager, Sabrina enough for her diligence, professionalism and constant communication. As I planned from the USA, Sabrina and I communicated via email and WhatsApp. Over the months of planning, I communicated with her so often that I felt like I had known Sabrina for years although I didn't meet her until my wedding day. She was in constant communication with my wedding planner and was incredibly flexible with the planner's requests to store items, set up lighting, offering her staff to help when she could, etc. Her staff did an excellent job with beverage and food service during the event and followed through on the smallest details down to the signature cocktail. Sabrina was critical to making my stay and wedding memories bring me nothing but smiles and for that, I'll be forever grateful!

Never again, the internet is horrible the view is the only thing I enjoyed besides that nope nada never. I traveled to Cap Haitian for the Island food but got served american food. Really I could have stayed in Miami :(

I didn't stay here. I went here with my 40 colleagues to spend sometime. We had lunch buffet and open bar in our package. Food was just okay and during our open bar session bar staff informed whiskey is over when we finished our first bottle, which was disappointing even though we paid for unlimited open bar. There's an open pool here with great views. It's a decent place to spend time.

Upon arrival, the staff has been nothing but courteous. The layout of the hotel itself is very unique, starting from the fifth floor (lobby) and working it's way down. The view is incredible whether it's day or night . The room was clean and modern, as well as the dining area, which over looks the pool area and town below. Though I do not speaking Creole or French, my girlfriend does, and told them I can not eat seafood, the went out of their way to make me a dish, free of seafood. Being of Jamaican decent, and knowing how heavley they rely on tourism, I see no reason why with a little work why Haiti couldn't be the next go to vacation spot, Hotel Satama, Cap-Haitien certainly is a great start .
