I had the pleasure of meeting Miriam at the Santa Clara Marriott about a year ago. Because of her amazing customer service skills I continue using the Santa Clara Marriott every time I find myself in town. Many thanks to Miriam and all of your staff.

The hosts were very warm, hospitable and attentive throughout! They remembered from our reservation that it was a special date night and that we are vegetarians. If it is on the menu, try the broccoli soup - it was out of the world! The banana caramel creme brulee was totally divine too!

Very solid mariott hotel. The breakfast was very nice with the best service I've ever had at a hotel restaurant. Everything worked well and everything was clean. Only bad thing that happened was housekeeping knocking on our door at 830 am even though we had late checkout at 4pm.

I was at an event at the Marriott. The venue was pretty nice and the wait staff were very helpful. I do feel like each year that I go, the quality of the food goes down. Also, the sound was definitely too loud but that might depend on where in the hall you are sitting.

Excellent ambience and courteous staff. Nice place with some greenery around. Rooms are a bit spacious. Only downside is if you got a room allocated at the far end, you might have to walk a long way to get into your room..which basically is not an issue..but if you travel with old people..you need to be mindful of that.

Room was quite nice, bed very comfortable for amorous activities... Security was quite lax though, it seemed as if there were many loiterers around. Food available was somewhat limited, do yourself a favor and use Postmates for fast service. Room rate was responsible but received a deal through a reputable website. View was awful due to the furry convention.

Juanita the bar manager was very rude and unprofessional ruined my night with my family. We had a tab over 300$ from the bar and she kicked my kids out of the lobby telling us the only place they could eat food was in the room. With such a large hotel with restaurants and lounge area she boldly tell my family with a table full with food that our kids who have been waiting for food to go back to the room just because is wasn't from the bar. My kids did not want to leave the room after they ate to come back down they are only 10 years old they wanted to go back home. My wife and I took care of the tab over 300$ unacceptable! It ruined our night as my kids didnt want to do anything now but play on devices in room. We almost argued about leaving a tip I had to walk away I was so upset. I run hotels for a living this is unacceptable SHE SHOULD speak with parents and provide options it's called HOSPITALITY! Never coming back here again plenty of other hotels in the area who will provide real service.

Hotel was easy to get to from the highway, conveniently located near Levi Stadium and California's Great America. Hotel staff was very friendly and professional. Hotel room was nice and the room we stayed in had an amazing view of the surrounding area. The pool was nice had tons of towels available and lots of kids toys. There was a little too much chlorine in the hot tub and it really wasn't that hot. Only problem we had with our stay was that on our last day we noticed there was some trash left from a previous guest under the bed and we did notice some stains on the bedding. Unfortunately we didn't notice this until we were clearing off the bed to make sure we didn't leave anything behind, so the staff couldn't do anything about it. We will stay here next time we are in the area as we had a nice stay. Our only wish was that Wi-Fi was included in the room price, but the parking being included was a nice surprise.

Staff was very nice, we asked for a room by the pool and they gave us one. Beds were very comfortable. The bar was overpriced. I didn't like that you had to pay for coffee in the lobby. Not worth $2

The overall experience that I had at my stay in the Santa Cara Marriott was sort of disappointing. It wasn't bad overall, as the hotel did it's job. My problems started with the inside of the hotel, specifically the guest rooms. There were popcorn walls and ceilings, which feels heavily outdated. But besides that, the rooms had nice furniture, although it felt very cramped. Another problem I had was the fact that if I had to pay for wifi if I wanted to access the Internet, or any services that require an Internet connection. There are many other places that give out free wifi to their guests and it, at least in my eyes, seems like the only reason they are charging for wifi in the first place is to gain more of a profit. I understand that a business needs to make money, but when many other of your competitors are handing it out for free, it's kind of unacceptable. There was this one rule where the pool was only open to people 18+ after a certain time, and if I remember correctly, was at 9 pm. I don't know the reason behind this rule, but I know it made many people that I know upset. The layout of the hotel was disorienting to me, but that could just be the fault of me. Other than that, everything else was fine. The restaurant here was nice. Food was tasty in my opinion, and the staff seemed happy to help out. And when I wasn't surrounder by popcorn walls, the interior was very nice. Overall, it's not a bad place to stay, but some of the rules here are questionable and the popcorn walls of the hotel rooms are the most dated things in the world. If you don't mind any of these, then this hotel should serve you well.

This was a good hotel, overall it ticked off the bells and whistles, not in the greatest location, and unimpressed with the fact that it didn't serve breakfast, what kind of hotel doesn't include breakfast these days, really? Otherwise, great accommodations

I will never book with Santa Clara Marriott ever again, and neither should you. We were planning coming into the city early July 4th, so we made a reservation for that day at this Marriott hotel. However, we did. It make it on that day. Y the early afternoon, so I called to cancel the reservation. The hotel said we ended to have a 48 hr cancelation to receive the refund, but because we made the reservation and canceled it on the same day which, obviously, it was impossible to make a 48 he cancelation on the same day. I called Marriott to tell them that the hotel would not give me a refund. I went all the way up to the Guest Experience Supervisors who said that none of the managers would ok a refund. They talked to Donna, the operations manager at the Santa Clara Marriott, who told the supervisors that they would not refund my money even though I canceled the same day as the reservation. My only other recourse is to contact the Marriott office of Consumer Affairs to see if they can help.

So many people have called the managers at the Santa Clara Marriott and no one has the compassion to say yes they understand that I canceled the same day I made the reservation and to give me a refund. Do not stay at this hotel because all they are interested in is getting their money and not in providing a service to a Marriott member. Be warrior these people do not care about you, only your money.

Check in often takes longer than 15-20 minutes. The hotel goes out of its way to make sure you don't enjoy your time and instead just use the property as a place to lay your head- no party agreements, bar and restaurant close early, and constant security noise patrols. It's not that I want to throw a party in my hotel room but if me and several guests would like to hang out in one place (someone's room), it'd be nice if we could do that without constant harassment.

I am a business traveler and had to stay at this place due to my company and being close to my company office.Front desk staff are not friendly. rooms are old. air condition makes loud noise in most of the rooms. carpet is old and the list goes on. They even screwed up my reservation and i had to pay full price instead of company rate they promised me when i made the reservation, even the manager Briana is not helpful.

Nice hotel. Rooms are a bit dated, but there is a lot of storage and little amenities that, are nice. No fridge in room which is unusual for the marriott line. Staff in executive lounge is hit or miss. They asked us not to bring in our alcohol. The next night a large group brought in several bottles of wine.

My wife loves traveling with me and staying at Marriott where ever we are. Santa Claira Marriott is a big facility with Starbucks, restaurants, and my wife's favorite the concierge lounge.

Fresh remodeled room is nice, construction still underway as of 08/19, some areas still need work. $17 parking + $15 WiFi is a joke this isn't downtown.might stay again but will shop around

Customer service is excellent and facilities are good for conferences/meetings. Rooms are a bit dated, but the standard fare. Only an outdoor pool that is sizable, but not very clean. Overall layout of the complex is a bit confusing and dispersed compared other hotels.

Incredibly well priced. The beds are so comfortable they are hard to leave. Beautiful heated pool. Pool food average to not so good. The lobby and facilities are immaculate and inviting. I would definitely return here.
