I called to get an explanation of my bill however the billing rep said they were not able to speak to the charges because the doctor puts them in. They said I should write in. I then wrote in asking for an explanation of my bill. Rather than writing me back, they sent me to collections. I don't understand why it is so hard to speak to a decision maker. I want to pay what is fair but sending me to collections seems like a drastic approach.

After a 3 and a half hour visit to Sansum Urgent Care, I've come to the conclusion my dogs receive better quality care and treatment at their vet. I am suffering from lumbar back pain radiating down my leg to my foot. Lying down has been impossible the last three nights. The staff from beginning to end gave me very little confidence in their expertise. It is tragic to see what our medical system has become. I had to beg for some pain relief via oral meds. I do not cry easily, but this cattle call experience coupled with pain and lack of sleep drove me to tears.

All of the staff was very helpful. Dr. Tom Anderson was very friendly with my kids and was quick to diagnose a broke arm. I have been in plenty of urgent cares and this one was one of the best experiences. Thank you.

This is my second time at Sansum Urgent Care.
It s very efficient and staff is very good and well trained.
I see with some of the lesser reviews people complain about waiting. That s to be expected.
They have a real time graph on their google page that shows how currently busy they are. Today I waited 15 minutes and was seen rapidly buy the RN and the MD.
I can recommend according to my experience here twice.

Really bad experience with the guy at the front desk was so rude and he thought I don't have enough money to pay for the service, just want to let you know I have money to pay forr the urgent CARE services and pay for your laughing too.
It's not my fault that you have to work on Sundays.
Sorry.
But the experience with the Doctors is EXELENTE!!

Today, I received the worst customer service ever ...

Today, I received the worst customer service ever by the Medical Service Coordinators at Urgent Care! I suffer from migraines and today I had one of the worst ones I have ever experienced.
I checked in at 10:45 and was waiting to get my vitals checked, and waited for an hour and 15 minutes and still wasn t getting called back.
I worked for Urgent Care so I know how the waiting process works and I was totally ignored for an hour and 15 minutes (I was counting). 6 people checked in after me, 2 not being an emergency. All were taken back before me.
The staff in front was so unthoughtful and cared less about my pain. I was in tears because of the pain. I went up three different times to check when I was next, staff just said those people had appointments or were emergencies. Other patients in the waiting room were more concerned with me than the actual staff (medical service coordinators).
I know nothing will change but at least hire people with some compassion.
Do those women even have hearts?

...It s a shame, because there are some great doctors and nurses there, some of the best around. But dealing with the front desk staff is a nightmare and makes me not want to go back and seek help in the future.

This is a professional clinic, you get help here. The syringes are sterilized, all the tests taken quickly and the specialists are available. There is a line, and you might need to wait long, but when nothing else works you go here.

The appointment was fine.. everything went well, but they messed up with my address and I never got my bill. They sent me to collections without a warning, or let me know I had an open bill with them. This is ridiculous!!!! Worse experience ever, since was my first time going to collections. I never left a bill unpaid my hole life! I felt so disrespected!

Went to this urgent care today, waiting time took so long but I am not going to use that as a reason to give a very low rating. Dr. Tom G. is a wonderful doctor! Thank you, Dr. Tom G. for dealing with my bloody nose. The reason I gave 4.5 stars was, the nurse who assisted me was not wearing gloves. I had bloody nose and holding a bio hazard stuff. Come on, I care about your life too.

Today I ran a large kitchen knife through my hand. I was pretty freaked out and did not want to go through the ordeal and expense of the local ER. I went here instead. Best decision ever. I was only waiting for about ten minutes before treatment was started.

You know you have a serious wound when nurses and doctors cringe when you tell them what happened. The doctor was very compassionate and talked me through the whole lengthy process of fixing me up.

I expressed my concern of how much it was going to cost me to get through fixing my hand since I have minimal to no insurance. The doctor set up my next two visits so that there would be no cost if there were no complications.

Everyone was kind and caring and made a horrible situation bearable. I have been through more medical emergencies then I can remember due mostly to my thrill seeking past and clumsy ways, and I walked into Sansum clinic scared, in pain, and fearing the worst. I was lucky in that I didn't cause more damage than I could have since I stuck a large knife right through my hand. Dr. O'callaghan fixed me, made me feel better about my situation, and I am very grateful for his skill and compassion.

Worst urgent care experience I have ever had. After waiting in the room for two hours to get two minutes with the doctor, waiting 2 hours for x-ray, and then waiting 2 hours for doctor to look at x-rays. At one point the nurse came in and asked us what we were waiting on after we d be waiting in the room for two hours... from there the doctor was notified. Dr. Anderson came in with absolutely no information or thoughts and said to see a specicialist and that we actually needed an ultrasound not an X-ray. Waste of an entire Saturday with absolutely NO medical help.

I have had some awful experiences with the clinic.
The worse was when they told me that I didn't have a broken femur, but I did, and I almost lost the blood supply. The doctor even told me not to use crutches--and I couldn't put any weight on the leg!

Then I came in with an infection and I had to wait for 4 hours. My blood pressure was really high, like 165 over something and they told me it was fine.

Also, you might not see a doctor, which is okay sometimes. But I don't want to see a PA if I have a kidney stone or a fracture or something mysterious.

I brought my daughter to urgent care, she has been feeling pretty bad for a long time they ran a bunch of test. She didn t improve so we ended up going back and we re seen by Brant Richardson, PA, he was so clam So patient so thorough he really made me feel like he had my daughters interest, he didn t just treat her like a number. He called to check on her to continue her care, ran more test just to get to the bottom either way left nothing un answered. made me feel that my daughter was in good hands. When your child is not feeling good that can be scary I m grateful that Brant Richardson, was there.!!!

Horrendous customer service waited in the waiting room for almost 2 hours for results for a strep test. I m a student in college and it s finals week, which was explained to them, so time tends to be a luxury than cannot be wasted. It s as if I was completely forgotten about, would ve been better off making an appointment elsewhere and made the drive to an actual professional place. Don t go here if you don t feel like waiting hours on end and being treated like your time isn t of any value.

I was "checked in" promptly. They asked for my symptoms. Then I waited about 10 minutes and I was called. They got my weight and blood pressure. And they asked what my symptoms were. And then I was seen by Dr. Thomas G. Anderson. Dr. Anderson and I discussed my symptoms in detail. He immediately started me on an IV - partly to rehydrate me - and also to give me antibiotics by IV. I was placed on one of their beds in the back. Everything was very clean and reasonably private. I was given IVs + antibiotics for about 2 hours. Then a nurse gave me some orange juice, apple juice and some crackers. They were concerned that I hadn't eaten anything yet that day. And then a nurse put me in a wheel chair and took me to the pharmacy to pick up antibiotic pills. The folks at the pharmacy were extremely helpful as well. I didn't have my Prescription Card but they used my SSN to look up the information that was needed. By taking the extra effort to look up this information, my insurance covered the cost of the meds and I didn't need to pay for the meds out of pocket. The Costco Pharmacy didn't know how to do this or wouldn't do this for me a few days later and I had to purchase some meds for $16 out of pocket. In any case, the Samsum Clinic Pharmacy took extra effort to help me. Then the nurse showed me where the bus stop was and I made a SLOW exit because I was still feeling puny. By the time I got home I was feeling better and I took one of the antibiotic pills. Which I took at 12 hour intervals. Dr. Anderson gave me an appointment to come back on Saturday at 1:30 PM. I arrived a few minutes early. I was promptly taken into the back. Dr. Anderson and I discussed my condition and symptoms. I was feeling MUCH better by this time. He gave me a shot of antibiotics instead of an IV and sent me on my way. I had a Urinary Tract Infection ( UTI ) and I was concerned that I might actually have Kidney Stones... where the UTI was only a symptom. Dr. Anderson explained that given the way my pain presented itself, he was confident that I didn't have Kidney Stones because I did not experience Renal Colic... which is the intense pain in the lower back associated with a stone migrating out of the kidney to the bladder. So... Sansum Clinic did a fantastic job for me: they admitted me promptly, I was seen by an extremely capable and personable Doctor, the nurses set me up painlessly with an IV, I was given IV fluids and antibiotics quickly without having to leave the clinic, I was wheeled over to the Pharmacy because the nurse thought it was too far to walk and she wanted to make sure I got there OK, the Pharmacy took some extra effort to look up the information needed so I didn't have to pay out of pocket for the meds, I was given an appointment to return the next day for follow up treatment, my follow up treatment went fast and smooth and I finished the 10 days of antibiotics as directed. Within 18 hours of my first visit to Sansum Clinic I was symptom-free !! Outstanding service. Thank you very much !!

The sansum urgent care center is a rather small facility but it does get the job done and they take you to the back fairly quick to help you. The only major issue is that it's not open to late so you would have to drive over to the ER if you want care after hours. The nurses are nice and the staff is helpful.

After a very frustrating appt with Sushila L. Braganza, MD and a few hours to think about it, the impression that lingers is that she is rude, incompetent and passive-aggressive. After a series of miscommunications engendered by her poor command of English, I asked her to get to the point of the visit. She took umbrage at that and stated that I was rude. She then stated she would not write a prescription, that she would erase my file and make me wait to see another doctor. Ample verification of passive-aggressive. Stay away.

I went in with a small keloid scar on my arm (didn t know it was a keloid scar at the time). I had Dr. logan. He cut it off of my arm which is the number one thing not to do with a keloid scar. My scar on my arm is now twice the size thanks to this uneducated moron of a doctor. When I went back to show him the damage he caused he responded with oops, i guess I made a mistake while laughing. I have genuinely never been to a worse establishment. Dr. logan should be fired.

I arrived at 10:45, it was not that busy. I was taken in for vitals at 11:15 then sent back out to wait for doctor at 11:25. I waited until 11:55 before I had to take a restroom break, at which time the nurse calls my name while I am in there!! Spouse tells her where I am and she would not wait two minutes. I come out of there to see spouse waving at me to go in the back as the door closes and locks behind the nurse, and she didn't even take anyone else in, just disappeared. At least 7 or 8 people were called after that and I am still sitting there. I went to the desk, they apologized, said I would be next. Several more people get called in, I go back to the desk twice more with no success. It is then 12:30! Then I finally I see the nurse who turned her back on me before, look her straight in the eye and say "hey, what's going on here? You called me a half hour ago and now you are punishing me because I went to the restroom?" She says with an attitude "lots of people are waiting" and takes someone else back. After having already paid my co-pay when I got there, I grabbed a complaint form and hobbled out on my very painful foot at 12:35. What a waste of almost two hours of my life! Sad statement on the care and compassion of Sansum Urgent Care. Nothing urgent about it!

Honestly, I ve had extremely bad experiences at Cottage Hospital with a lack of professionalism and genuine concern for patients. It has been hurtful and frustrating and also disheartening not feeling supported seeking care in an emergency situation. That is certainly not what you will find here. At Samsun clinic, the staff is very considerate and loving! They genuinely care about the safety and comfort of all of their patients. I was asked to step outside while taking a serious phone call that was potentially bothering staff or other patients and staff. I felt very grateful that the staff cares about the profesionalism and has consideration for all of their patients and attendents. I was first greeted by Bianca and first seen by Shannon who gave me excellent, reassuring and loving advice, then seen by Angelica who was extremely sweet! It felt like a perfectly, harmoniously attended office. I was greeted kindly by smiling doctors standing around the counter, Dr. Anderson included as I followed Angelica back to my room to wait to be seen by a Doctor Jacobs who is a thorough and loving woman with a genuine attentiveness to the patient s expression of symptoms. Next Felicia came in who drew my blood with a nice steady arm! Luz and Esther helped me in checking out and making sure my appointments were set up. Lastly, Melanie assisted me with getting the names of everyone in this office so I could share this amazing story of being treated kindly in a medical practice for once in a very long time. Thank you!

Dr Anderson sr is by far the best doctor I ve ever seen. He won t have you leave until he finds out what s wrong a solution. He doesn t just spend ten minutes with you and give you an antibiotic like other doctors do. He also truly cares about his patients. He s the kindest doctor I ve met and I would rather wait in urgent care an extra 2 hours to have him than be seen by someone else

It took 3 hours of my day to visit Sansum Urgent Care. That is probably to be expected so it is not my complaint. I was x-ray'd, given a throat swab and blood work. I was told they were going to send a prescription to my pharmacy. I went the next day to the pharmacy and nothing had been called in. I was promised more than once that the results of my blood tests would be called in to me. It was not. Do you mind telling me why I bothered to waste my time????

One or more pluses could be added to the five stars.

After three week with a cough I promised my wife that I'd go to Sansum if I didn't feel better this morning. I didn't so I did. I got the Sansum ap that allows one to see the waiting time. I went in the afternoon when it was estimated to be 1/2 hour. It was less. The the routine measurements I was seen by Cagnbe Henrikisen, PA-C. She was patient, careful, deliberate and thorough.

A characteristic I've come to associate with a good doctor, is both the willingness and the ability act unhurried and to allow the doctor-patient conversation to drift a little bit away from strictly diagnostic question. I think, at least in some instances, a good clinician can learn from unstructured conversation what it would take a thousand yes/no questions to discover. Moreover, when the doctor invests what appears to be a little extra time, she gets a sense of how to talk to the patient in a way that increases his confidence in the treatment and increases the probability of compliance with whatever the treatment plan happens to be. I don't know if Ms Henrikisen was having a slow day or a busy day, but she took all the time I needed to get the sense that I had been well cared for.

The initial measurements were done in one room and then I was taken to a treatment room to see Ms Henrikisen. Diagnosis required an Xray so was taken from the treatment room to the Xray room and then back to the treatment room. Altogether I saw three different health care providers. All were friendly, professional, and efficient. I was at the clinic for about 2 hours, which was somewhat longer than I expected but it was time well spent; I don't think this kind and level of medical care can get better.

Dr. Tom Anderson is the best! He is very kind, understanding and experienced. This urgent care is typically pretty fast in comparison to others. The staff and nurses have been very compassionate and professional toward myself and others. While I never enjoy being sick, I always feel better after going to the Peseta Urgent Care.
