There is an annual County Fair held in June here. It s fairly large in size, and there are a couple of warehouses in the plot. Parking is decent from the back, but there isn t any convenient parking near the entrance.

Volunteering at the Maker Faire 2013 for Scrap was awesome. I enjoyed roaming around despite the hour I have. Took a lot of great photos. Wish my friends could've gone with me, but despite that I always enjoy exploring new places on my own. I'm from San Francisco by the way. The Bay Area has a a lot to offer, annually.

Great Space easy in Easy Out plenty of parking and the staff running the events were very helpful we did a dance event there and they helped us set up the floor and take it down and load so they were great

Thanks to all organizers and personnel who made this happen. I am so grateful to all. This site has it well planned and functioning smoothly.

Lots of parking spaces but depending on the event the entrance might be a little confusing. The folks at the entrance are helpful enough to guide you to the right spot and collect entrance.

Difficult to access.
Clean but very dated (old).
$12 to park.
Security workers are foul mouthed and quite rude.

$15 for event parking, not too bad with decent amount of parking. Not much room for outside chairs (those provided onsite are rarely enough) in the main volleyball building. Food ran out prior to dinner, and their rules say no outside food/drinks so no food available to those in the pm VB wave playing till 9 or 10pm.

Even though it was my first time, it really felt like Makerfaire has outgrown this space. I would have appreciated better signage, and I find the lack of access to free water abysmal. We left early because we had thirsty children and the line to the only water fountain on the premises was a good 30 minute wait.

parking is horrible at $25 and event isnt very wheelchair friendly with only 2 of every 20 portable bathrooms has a disabled stall- I know it's selfish but these two are always in use by non disabled stroller parents so this just needs more accessible stalls need to be rented
there are cables and cords all over walkways inside and outside instead of having adequate power outlets to not need to run so many lines as tripping and rolling hazards
the event itself was amazing

A disgusting old venue they don't bother to maintain because it's basically the only space of it's size on the peninsula. It's probably a good location for consumers but it's not great for event planners. Expect to do a lot of work to make a decent event. And buy out the catering.

Please hire people who speak English! These men kept looking at young teenage girls! Some did not even check to make sure your kids were strapped on the rides. These men were also speaking negatively towards family in Spanish.

Have only been here for volleyball tournaments. The smaller venue next to large building is not ideal for volleyball. We've had to cancel play due to condensation accumulating on the floor tiles as it was dangerous for players. The main appeal for this location is that it's close to home...

Came here for a company event, as well as the San Mateo County Carnival. Parking lot both times was bursting. However, they were able to reroute us to another parking garage - but was quite far (10-15min walk)

$15 to get in per person and then you still have to pay for rides and games additionally. I guess it makes sense on Fridays and weekends??

no week night discounts especially when they need attendance.

The parking situation is ridiculous fast, but they have VIP parking people willing to pay for it.

It doesn't create a family or community environment when they filter attendees on whether there are able to pony up the cash. A family of 4 is already $60

Drive-in is not great value. Better execution is needed. Be prepared for poor sight lines to movie and limited services. I highly recommend Alameda county Fair drive instead. They are slightly cheaper and much more organized/professional.

I am 59 years young, and I took my mom who is 87 years old to the San Mateo County Fair. We had lots of fun looking at the animals and watching the children have fun! The Mexican food & the Mexican corn is absolutely delicious! We saw some of the shows, which were very nice... There were lots of fun activities for everyone in the family and every age group. We have been going for years, and it's always lots of fun! :-)

I had to report to jury duty here in September 2020 during the COVID-19 lockdown. They moved the courts and jury duty selection here because there's more room for social distancing. I can't say much other than parking was plentiful and free. They didn't do a good job with signage to direct where jury duty parking actually is. And the court employees didn't talk much and didn't keep the potential jurors updated on what was happening. They seemed so disorganized, like they hadn't done it before.

It is a huge place that you would get lost if there us nobody to ask directions from. The staff for the event we attended were very helpful and made evryone comfortable. Parking was too far from the actual event site.

Huge place with a lot of exhibitions .

Huge place with a lot of exhibitions .
A lot of rides for different ages.
Downside - you need to pay:
