Stores are good but needs to have better cafe and food
Went to the county fair here and it was surprisingly clean.
We t there today to get my 2nd COVID vaccination. Everything was very well organized and I was in and out in 25 minutes.
Sadly the San Mateo County fair has lost a lot of its flair. I'm sure kids still enjoy themselves, but the adult draw has become lackluster. Maybe it has to do with all the housing now surrounding the fairgrounds and the noise that I'm sure folks complain about. Same old thing just a different place. What a shame.
Well organized family event. Lots of fun filled activities for all ages. Safe and enjoyable even in the rain.
Fun small county Fair. Exactly what you expect from a fair: rides, food, exhibits, farm animals, and lots of vendors selling junk you don't need. Some large exhibit halls have AC. Shows and rides for kids. In a few hours you can see everything.
The place for the local fair as well as many other events.
Very big n spacious. Have attended two types of events. One was a spiritual event and another a fair with lots of booths. The parking was adequate. The approach is pretty close to 101 freeway. Also, the fact that this event center almost opens up into El Camino Real helps with lots of restaurants near by including an Indian restaurant, Vietnamese, Italian Pizza etc.
Nice enough place. Spacious. Went to jewelry show. $20 to park is a bit outrageous. And not convenient for handicap parents who had to walk nearly a mile to find an entrance.
My friend and I went to the Maker's fair and it was my first time there. It quite amazing to see what people could make.
$15 or more to park which isn't a problem. This review really about the 4x4 event they put on every year. This show is getting smaller and smaller, also if you are looking for deals good luck most vendor's are selling their items at 10% off.
Real Estate wealth Expo was awesome, great place plenty of parking
Nice place for big events. A lot of parking here, but sometimes you have to pay for it.
Nothing special, big open event center in old buildings
I was impressed with this place. Great breakout rooms and several of them. I went to a Tony Robbins event with thousands and it did not feel crowded.
Great venue for expos and conventions. The facilities and catering have maintained high standards. Bring cash for parking- depending on the event it can range from 10-20$. And is cash only!!
I wast at Maker Faire 2016. The venue seemed to be in good condition, and venue staff seemed to be on top of their tasks during the event.
Traffic lights are miserably controlled here. Getting in and out is a big deal. Plan to sit in traffic or the lot for an extra hour.
Served it's purpose nothing fancy. plenty of room for shows and plenty of parking and parking was reasonably priced. Lots of handicapped parking too.
I have only been here to visit Maker Fair, five times.
Got here when it just opened, the portable toilets are beyond gross. Doesn't appeared to have been cleaned in some time. No water or soap at the pumps areas. Rides are good, son is having fun
Only parking is something that could be better and not be so expensive
Location of annual maker faire. Too small for it.
Buildings are quite old. However, events held here can be amazing.
here for the event.. easy to find... a lot of parking
Good gem and jewelry show but parking is expensive.
Ot was supper fun love the rides awsome the food so amazing
Mostly carnival rides. Exhibits on Art, quilting, and 4-H nice. Animal husbandry minimal.
Would go to more things here if parking was not so expensive.
The Maker Faire 2019 San Mateo Fairgrounds. Excellent.
They host the best events here. More fun than Disneyland
I like country event threat and good price and food is magical
This is when the fair was out there and had a nice time
It's crowded here, but not so much that you don't still have a good time. The day I was here it was raining. but there was still plenty of room to shuffle about and observe exhibits or listen to speakers. The parking is a little far, but it's all wheelchair accessible. I really love this place.
This is a good venue for events. High ceilings, brightly lit, restrooms on all corners, venders, large parking lot, trailer parking, and tailgate area available. ISSUES: Though they receive lots of monies from vehicle entries, the parking lot is very worn & is in desperate need of repair and parking lines narrow & very worn. Side gate from tailgate area is NEVER open for our convinence (assume too cheap to pay for an attendant/guard).
Body Art 2018 held in San Mateo was great! A big shout out to Josh Bachelder of Roc Art Tattoo, Dayton, Ohio for my sistah Luisa butterfly & my hummingbird, and Vic of Hard Luck Tattoo, Lodi, CA for my sister Avis 3 doves.
Had a great time at the maker faire...free parking was about a mile or so away from the faire
It is a great facility and central to most cities. The sales staff are difficult to work with.
Ok but parking can be high depending on what show is here
I enter the project into the Makers Faire this weekend. Everybody at the Event Center was very helpful very friendly and great people to work with.
Women's Expo was here and I go every year. Love it, the products, the atmosphere! Loads of fun!
Many events.. Parking is around $12. It can be a hassle to walk in depending what gates are open and what venue is being used.
Nicer than theCow Palace! Went for the 4 Wheel Parts Jeep Show. Glad I did especially since we're all self isolating now....
Great time period really professional and organized.
Not much vendors compared to the previous years. It's a hit miss
big venue for the maker faire. lots of space and parking seemed manageable.
Loved it. Huge building with lots of room. Although more places to take a break would've made it better, as well as cooler temp inside.
