Makers Faire. Hands down the best place to get your geek on.

This place is huge. Went for the Maker Faire 2016. Such a good time. Very well organized.

Solid sushi place. Nothing fancy and it's reasonably priced. Free soup, salad and edamame doesn't hurt either.

This location always hosts the Maker Fair, which everyone should definitely check out.

I went to an expo here and it was very frustrating that they had their cafe closed. The bathrooms were kept clean which was nice.

It really sucked half of what they had last year.. going down huge

Nice place for large gathering. Nicely engineered as you get a of natural light as well. One suggestion : It would be good to add more restrooms (especially for ladies)

The location is fine, but they gouge you for parking and block entrances that are near street parking. They all do that I guess... Otherwise, no complaints.

As a family enjoying the moment and how good it feels to know other cultures!

Interesting event and convention center. Parking available in the rear of site.

It's a spacious event center with lots of green outdoors areas. Easy to reach with public transportation from San Francisco.

Family Winemakers event great place to have a wine tasting event.

For all sorts of events including the business and wealth Expo Facebook mpk is San Mateo County Fair Great environment

It could have more signs and be better prepared to receive and dispatch the people.

It was wonderful to see all the hand made goods and the entertainment was very enjoyable, however, it was very expensive $15 to park, $14 just to get in,

Went here for Isha and inner engineering class. Large space and a good fit for the above event.

Visited here for Makerfaire, large sprawling venue For events with indoor and outdoor spaces.

Tonite is EA sports Christmas party.they change the whole inside from warehouse to winter wonderland.outstanding job done by all vendor involed with the setup

I was here for volleyball buildings were cold which is nice due to most places being hot and stuffy.

Parking for the Maker Faire was non-existence, we had to park at the shopping mall and walk

Was here for the Fair, everything's too overpriced even for a Fair.

This review is for the Makers Faire 2019. The Faire is great, and you can see the innovation and creativity in the air. However, all that goodness is hindered by the poor and slow entrance system that prevents people from entering the fair grounds. I don't know why they still haven't figured out how to streamline large groups of people into their venue.
This is 2019, and crowd organization ain't rocket science. FIGURE IT OUT!

Same old thing but still can be fun for a couple of hours then its just boring

Getting ready to do the Sing Tao Expo at the San Mateo Expo for Labor Day Weekend. Expecting a big crowd, lots of entertainment, food stalls, vendors, fun eve t for all ages.

Building is very outdated. Some areas does not have enough airflow and can get very stuffy.

Attended a Cat show. It was enjoyable.
The Chocolate Festival was a little steep at a $35.00 admission fee.

Maker Fair is the best fair all year and this year may be it's last. That would be a terrible tragedy for the community #savemakerfair

Love the pig races and the smiles on the kids faces.

Attended the San Mateo County Fair. Lots of rides, food, music and even pig races.

Wasn't worth the price of admission! Just isn't like it used to be!

Great facility, but the parking charge always makes me queezy.

We are in town for the business expo and paid quite a bit of money for our booth. The place is run down, no other way to describe it. Drywall missing in some spots and just left exposed, and patched up in some places with incorrect paint. Dirty walls too. For as much as we paid and for it, definitely not impressed. For a "professional" venue, they really need to up their game and do some repairs on the place.

Great outdoor convention center. Parking can be a little rough, but fun events.

Is a great and big place for shopping wholesale. We went there and had a good experience.

Had a amazing experience at the wealth expo. Tony Robbins was incredible.

Went for intergem shows , found reasonable price of jewelry like pearl Bangles, stone Bangles , ear rings , craft works, clothes, purses.

Location is great but $12 for parking!!! Really??? And what's with the fences and blockades between the different sections of the sprawling complex? If one has to go between Point A and B separated by maybe a couple hundred of feet, they have to walk at least a mile to do so!

Been here 3 times and hated it each time. Parking is $15 per car and you can't leave and return. Food is icky and expensive. I could not find any healthy food choices for sale. The facility is old, and not very well maintained. There is no hot water in the restrooms, and the indoor areas are not heated. Today is was 40F INSIDE the building and everyone here was miserable and shivering trying to stay warm by wrapping blankets around themselves. This sucked considering that I paid $25 to enter plus the $15 parking. For that amount I expect some heating inside.

I love maker faire. The venue itself is a bit rundown, a classic county fairgrounds. But as long as they have good events, the exact quality of the venue doesn't matter as much.

About what you'd expect from an aging exposition center. Nothing special, but perfectly adequate.

The county fair was fun, and parking was easy when we came ~10 minutes before the event started at 11 on Sunday.

Fun event(s). Could use some more places to sit, ie outside in the shade, and inside to rest ect..

Site of the San Mateo County Fair and the Bay Area Maker's Faire. Lots of great things to do here year round. EDIT: 9/22/18 Today I went to the Disaster Preparedness Day 2018. This was a free event which included parking, a $12 value. Got two free hot dogs too. Saw equipment that I have never seen at previous events. Gr8 way to spend a morning or afternoon. Not much to do this time of the year.

What a fantastic job they did at the clothing show this week. Considering everything was outside, really nice job. Lot's of vendors participated.
