My only complaint is there is not enough room at this pool for the number of guests that they have. Also, to try and make up for that, all of the chairs are touching to where you cannot even walk between them to sit down. Build a bigger pool or add a pool.

I've stayed at the Marriott Marquis multiple times in my life, and all for conferences. The views are magnificent, the restaurants have good food for vegetarians and the walking path by the water is majestic. Highly recommend.

Hotel cleanliness and room service were above and beyond. If you want to be treated like a second rate citizen take a trip down to the bar on a Thursday night. I was unable to get the brunettes name but the other members of the "we don't really see you setting here squad, Dakota and Keith avoided us like we had shingles. They were not attentive or simple lacking basic training that we would assume Marriot, a high caliber establishment would ensure their staff would receive would demonstrate and exuberatr at all times regardless of the person standing on the other side of the bar. To be brief and fair. Marriot has and continues to do a fantastic job. However, some employees just aren't onboard with striving for excellence in all dimensions of the job. San Diego was beautiful and the weather was lovely aside from the negative showcase at the bar we enjoyed ourselves and all of the amenities the city had to offer!

I stayed one night and the amenities are great. If you forget your charger, the front desk has spares in case you forget yours. There is also a charging locker where you can charge your phone up for free. Great ocean view. Good food selections downstairs.

Loved our stay here. We were here for my husband's work conference but... Gorgeous, clean, comfortable, customer service is first class all the way, food is great, amenities are awesome and our view from our room was incredible! Will definitely stay here again.

Was here for a social event and the place was great! Nice clean and hip hotel. The room was large and accomodating event with such a huge event. The only thing i wish was that they would look into more charging possibilities because i could not even get my car to charge during my visit in the valet. If a patron pays for parking they shiukd at least provide some perks as well for electric vehicle itll probably. Bring more customers.

Amazing hotel. The resort feels like a resort with the pools and the palm trees and the view from the room. Absolutely worth a stay. Plus it's walking distance from all the best places in the gaslamp!

Excellent hotel, excellent location with direct access to San Diego Marina, five minutes walking from Gaslamp and close to everything you need. There's a big pool, we were afraid about the potentially high number of guests there, but we always found sunbeds available anytime. Parking is very convenient with in/out privilege, we went for self parking because I judged the valet charge on the high side. We also appreciated the big and we'll equipping gym. Breakfast is alright too, staff friendly and well organised.

This is a great location for large gatherings. There are conference spaces in multiple locations on site, in varying sizes to accommodate groups. It is easy to access from downtown San Diego.

Probably my favorite Downtown Hotel. Great amenities, a beautiful pool and spa area. Close to everything downtown. It's a bit spendy, but so is the downtown. You definitely get what you pay for here.

This hotel was such a blessing to us. My husband was in San Diego for business and so we came in a day early. They were kind enough to work things out for a difficult reservation and were able to give us a balcony bayside room. The rooms were immaculate and well appointed. The staff were all very good. We enjoyed the many amenities there. The Exchange Pantry had quick and tasty meals to pick up. Starbucks is always good. We really enjoyed the Tikki Bar. We had drinks and had the absolute best tacos, hands down the best! Great location to enjoy a walk along the water.

Nice decor with curvy pool that could almost be a lazy river. They have complimentary treats and food on weekdays and they have gluten free breakfast items which is nice for those who are allergic. There are fire pit l pits outside too that are nice with a nearby bar. The outside bar closes at 10 pm on weekdays. The location is nicely situated in downtown and room has full view of harbor.

Although the location is nice, and the rooms are adequate, the food and drinks are expensive (and the rooms don't stock water), and don't meet my standards for flavor for the price. But the kicker for me was that when I asked about shipping something to the hotel, I was told that this was fine. When I arrived to pick up the packages I was charged an extra, surprise $16 (about 20% of the value of the goods) as a "handling fee". The explanation was that this was a policy set up by the on-site UPS store, and neither UPS nor the hotel were willing to refund this spend. Completely predatory behaviors, as no one mentioned these costs up front. I regularly attend conferences in San Diego, and will no longer be staying at this Marriott.

They nickle and dime you for everything. It's insulting when I'm already spending $300 a night.

I can get free parking, internet, and breakfast at most Holiday Inns for 1/3 of the price and the accomodations are just as clean and comfortable.

I'd rather budget a car rental and stay somewhere else then get ripped off here again.

Great view and location. Unfortunately, after traveling 12 hours arriving after midnight, we encountered a filthy bathroom that definitely had not been cleaned thoroughly. There was dried feces in the toilet (gross!), hair everywhere (yuck), splashed stains and fingerprints on the door frame. Although the managers were responsive, they were slow to respond. It took two days and two cleanings before they got it right.

We stayed here on our wedding night and also visited family when they were in town for a conference and it's a very nice and popular hotel. Overlooking the harbor with beautiful views, it can get crowded but I think the hotel does a really good job at keeping things moving whether it's at the valet or at the food market. I always wish we could explore more especially the really fun looking pool area that I believe had a slide so I hope to go back for a staycation of some sort one day!

My visit here was by chance, very lovely hotel. I believe I stayed in the south tower, where I had the view of the bay. I was received in good hands, clean room with clean sheets. Nothing bad to talk about but excellence. I was just there overnight but the experience was great.
