After Ubering with a large group to the restaurant they had closed at 7:57pm. The website, google, and sign on the store all day hey are open until 9. Not cool.

An under-appreciated hidden gem in the city. High end Vietnamese food that's not heavily French nor Chinese (although some hints of French and Chinese influences are clearly present). Fairly decent for lunch, but dinner entrees are the stars of the place. A-plus, metered parking is easy to get in front of the restaurant!

Great restaurant. Never had Vietnamese food before and the waitress was very helpful. The Pho was great, and I really enjoyed the banh mi and the carmelized chicken. Brown rice was perfect! Nothing but praise for this restaurant!

An office favorite, I particularly recommend the pho.

Authentic Vietnamese food with a wide variety to choose from.
Try the Banh Bao Hoisin glazed pork belly and the shrimp spring rolls.
Prices are very, very reasonable.

Today was my first time here as my choice to have lunch. Inside this restaurant is very beautiful, the energy is AMAZING! The service was OUTSTANDING as the owner greets you and offers you the best choice they have to offer. The food was SO DELICIOUS! My suggestion would be the bbq Jackfruit bowl Saigon Sister s thank you for having me ! Definitely will return with my family next time.

Amazing food. We had papaya salad, spring rolls, pork belly banh bao, pho, bun bo hue, baby octopus and ice coffee flan. Absolutely would recommend this place to friends. Bun bo hue was my favorite cause it reminds me of home.

Holy cow. This was worth the trip to Chicago. The Chicago style Pho dip Banh Mi was to die for. The meat is as incredible. Loved the Wagyu Spring Roll and Beef Pho also. Emperors Chamomile tea was unique and flavorful. The Vietnamese coffee is good and strong like it should be and the "Baognets" are a great finish. Everything was on point!

I ordered Pad See Ewe and it was truly amazing. You cannot get Vietnamese food like this around town easily, but this is amazing. The service was amazing and truly made us feel at home especially during these times. Thank you, Dan and Clark! Truly a special moment and time here.

Dan and Mary took amazing take care of us! They gave us complimentary donuts and imperial rolls. They took great care of us, and food was amazing. A must try in the Windy City!

It's a clean and trendy place but it's far from being an authentic Vietnamese eatery. Pho was sub par. There were 6 hungry foodies and we all had this reaction after our last bites.... ehh....

This was surprisingly good. The food is good and service is medium.

Be prepared to wait an hour or more for your food. We've been here an hour already and the host just asked how everything is so far. Had to laugh and say we haven't had anything yet so we don't know.

Don't be put off by the setting. Chef has it together. Wait staff most knowledgeable. Good specials.

I have never had Vietnamese food before and came here with my partner on a whim. THE most delicious 4 course meal I have ever had. The Ox ice cream dessert is to die for. The service was wonderful, we had such a great experience. There is no other food place in Chicago that compares to this place. 10/10 recommend!

My friends and I came here on Friday night, the decoration is very good, very warm. I felt very warm and funny when the boss (I guess) greeted us and joked with us. We ordered Fried chicken buns and pho (my friend ordered Fried noodles). The Fried chicken bag is really delicious! The chicken is juicy and oily. The bag is very soft and sweet. The taste is sour and sweet with a spicy taste. I highly recommend this! It's the weekend limit. The Fried noodles are as delicious as my hometown. The soup of the river noodles has a strong gravy taste and a lingering aftertaste. The noodles are soft and smooth. We also ordered Thai iced tea and sparkling water. Iced tea is smooth and sweet, with a strong tea aroma. The sparkling water has the aroma of wine. This place is awesome! So I have a happy weekend, I believe I will come to the weekend! Very authentic Asian food (also the best Asian food I've ever eaten in America, and they're not expensive!)

Dan and Mary, provided us with great service, one of the best experiences I ve had since visiting from Cincinnati. The food was PHENOMENAL! It as my first time trying Vietnamese food and I loved it!

I went to dinner with my girlfriend, we loved the baby octopus, the flavor is unique. Dan is a great host, he recommended 2 types of wine to accompany our dinner and they were very good wines

Everything is wonderful in the restaurant. Food and service is amazing, best pho place ever.

The Whole Branzino, can't even express in words how good that dish was, with rice makes it a killer dish. Highly recommended signature dish. Much appreciate the meal and hospitality at the restaurant, makes you feel just at home. Also the pumpkin dessert with coconut milk was absolutely made to perfection.

Tofu bahn mi was super tasty!! Ended up meeting the owner and he is so nice; it's very clear he cares about his customers. I will definitely be going back since I work not far from here!

I did not have a reservation but was seated very quickly at the bar. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive and gave great recommendations on the menu. It filled up pretty quickly but even with the crowd I received my food in a timely manner. The pork belly banh bao is my favorite small bite and the egg noodle soup is perfect for these winter nights.

Service is great, they treat you like family. The food is Amazing. A must if your in the area

A real authentic spicy Vietnamese with a modern twist and the owner Dan is a great host.

Amazing vegan pho! The tofu was marinated and had so much flavor, a very nice touch compared to other vegan pho I ve had with just plain tofu added. Service was great will be back for a nice hot bowl of pho again.

This was my first visit to Chicago and after walking over a mile from the hotel, I found this nice intimate space with amazing Pho, a made from scratch broth that had my palate dancing with flavor. Met the owner, Nick, who was hosting tables and made you feel right at home ...definitely worth the walk!

We ve been here a few times and were always greeted with a smile and great food! Dan, the owner, is always super accommodating and just super nice. He brought us so many extras without us even asking. I would definitely recommend this place, it has the best pho, banh mi, service, and staff! I ve tried many places throughout Chicago, and nothing beats this place.

This is the best Vietnamese restaurant in town. The pork bun is incredibly juicy and very taste. The noodle soup reminds of Vietnam a lot. Absolutely will come back here.

Food was absolutely amazing! From appetizers to dessert without a flaw.

The customer service provided by Dan was exceptional. The food was delicious (the fried chicken bao are addicting) and the ambiance was very relaxing. They offer all your classic Vietnamese dishes - and they are as authentic as you can get. Dan's wife and mother in law are Vietnamese natives who throw down in the kitchen! You should definitely give this restaurant a try. It won't disappoint you.

I love the pork one and the butter chicken one. So tasty and cheap! Will def full you up unless you are hella fat; in that case get two.

The kale ginger lime soup is also really good and makes me feel healthy.

Came for dinner on a Wednesday. It was busy and looked good after a workout at Row House down the street. 2 of us sat down and split a curry and the beef noodles. The food came quick and tasted great. The owner, Dan, even came by and said hi. He was killing it with the tunes and very friendly. This place is perfect if you are by Union station or want a dinner without a lot of the hustle and bustle of Randolph Street. Keep up the good work and like the Terminator said, Ill be back.

I originally came her for the pho but turns out their bowls are much better. The pho was basic and the broth a bit bland but their pork belly was amazing and the options for their noodle bowls are excellent.

Just an absolutely incredible restaurant. The food, fantastic. The drinks, incredible. Also, the owner was a gem of a person who made us feel special during peak time. Everything about the entire experience was perfect and we will definitely be back soon.

This small but comfy spot in the west loop, was just what I needed for a quick bite. Great service and food. I also really dug the music they were playing.

Pretty relaxed environment; the food was totally average, but it was overall a decent time. Surprisingly good beer, and I think it was worth the value. With drinks, it s about a $50 night for two people, and probably something that I d do again if I wanted Vietnamese food. It s a good spot, and right off the Red line for an easy commute. A nice area of town as well; and a good overall vibe.

I loved this place. I had a chicken curry (laksa) and it was so flavorful. I was so sad that I filled up on the fantastic spring rolls and dumplings that I could barely eat the main dish. We were served by the owner and he really took care of us. We couldn t have had a better evening and dining experience. If you re not eating here you re missing out.

Wow! This place is amazing! The service is outstanding and the staff is unbelievably passionate and knowledgeable about their work. That said, even if the service was horrible, it would still be worth going just for the food. Highly recommend!
