I LOVE Saguaro National Park! Whether you go to see the variety of cactus/cacti, the wildlife, the views, or have your picture taken next to a towering Saguaro, every visit brings a new adventure.

With various hiking, biking, and walking trails, there's something for everyone. For those who prefer to take in the scenery from the confines of a vehicle, there's an 8-mile loop that winds through the Park. Whether you drive, bike, hike, or walk, remember to always be mindful and aware of wildlife and/or other visitors who may be sharing your immediate area. In short, just practice using common sense and consideration.

The desert, even during the wettest Monsoon, can deceive your sense of security. Proper hydration and limiting your exposure to the Sun should definitely be among your priorities anywhere in the desert. Be careful where and how far you wander - ALWAYS equip yourself with water, sunscreen, a hat, and eye protection to help minimize your exposure to the elements. You don't need to be afraid of the desert, but you do need to respect the desert.

Stop by the Visitor Center for information about the Park, ask questions, and enjoy your visit.

Saguaro National Park is a very interesting place to spend a day. We entered the park through the Rincon entrance and although traffic was lined up well back from the entrance, the flow was acceptably smooth. The ranger at the entrance was friendly, courteous and helpful, offering a map of the park and answering our questions. The views are awesome and the driving loop is a convenient way to access the park without ever getting out of your vehicle if that is your choice.

One of the coolest national parks i ve been to! The landscape and size of the cacti is insane. While the saguaros are the the main feature there s a wide variety of different cactus around the park.

Don't let the summer temperatures turn you away -- fantastic 8-mile driving tour. You can see this amazing world from the comfort of your air conditioned car. There are plenty of place to pull over and take pictures. It is like entertaining another world and well worth the trip!

Absolutely gorgeous! This is the place to go if you want to see where all the post card pictures are taken. Nice hiking trails and saguaro cactus like you've never seen before. If your visiting in the summer bring lots of water and sunscreen, therea very little to no shade and it gets HOT!

If you like chasing sunsets and love cacti, then this is the place for you. Submerse yourself in a forest of cactus. It truly is another world. Pull into a rest stop in the park and watch the sunset but do t leave the minute the sun goes down because the color show starts thereafter and oh are the colors magnificent.

Beautiful national park with great views of the Saguaro cacti. They have a 6 mile dirt road loop which shows you the most concentrated parts of the Saguaro. Along that Loop there is also Signal Hill where you can see some Indian petroglyphs that are over 500 years old. The visitor's center allowed us to detach our 20-foot trailer so we could take our truck through the dirt road loop. Very nice. Be advised, there is no overnight camping anywhere within the park.

Went to the Rincon side of the park and took a few short hikes around the forest. Make sure you carry in enough water. The saguaros (that are left) are awesome and worth the visit. The park has a good bit of wildlife and various other types of cacti.

Last visited for a moon light hike. Wish we were here here at a time of year that it was more twilight than dark. The sunsets from the EAST park are amazing as you watch the sun set in the west, and the lights of the city flicker on.

One of the most beautiful places I have ever visited in my life!! We enjoyed the scenic views of Saguaro valleys and the beauty of Sonoma desert! Wonderful place for outdoor cardio activities, like running, biking, hiking, jogging, walking etc. I would highly recommend this place for visiting!

An excellent experience and place to go.

An excellent experience and place to go.
The rangers are very helpful and very knowledgeable. They have great presentations and there is a lot of information around the guest center.
As for activity, you can do as little or as much as you like. If mobility is an issue, the center offers nice presentations and there are plenty of areas, within the park, you can drive and enjoy the Saguaros. If you are into hiking, there are many options that get you close and personal with the "stars" of the park.
Overall, a great place to visit and take guests.

The people that work here are absolutely top notch, not to mention how great the park looks. We visited the western part of the park, didn't get to see the eastern section but will eventually.
