Safe Haven Security Review

This company will not work with payment in full for past due services plus payment in full for duration of contract and provide money for restoring services. I have never in my life gave a negative review to anyone, but this is ridiculous ...1800 disconnect fee and no option of paying the full contract price plus pay to have services turned back on. I would highly recommend using a different provider for your adt needs..

Our installer was Tony. He did an excellent job, informing us all the way and asking our preferences and needs. He was pleasant and helpful. We had a less pleasant experience with the scheduling office, but it all worked out. Tony gets a 5+, the general office gets a 3+

I normally do not review for anything. But The relocation manager came to my new house told me that I have credit on my account and it was a part of my closing deal ( I doubted ), so he wanted to push me to get his deal for the security system. I told him to wait for 24 hrs and I will call him if I am interested in his deal. I called my closing agent they told me its not a part of the closing deal. Guess what he checked my credit report even I did not authorized him or give him my social security number. So they are fraud stay away from them. There is no option for zero or negative star that is what they deserve.

Jesse Manning was my technician and he was fantastic! He took the time to go over all my options, answer any and all questions and show me how to work my entire system!!

I just purchased a new home to me and my realtor purchased an upgrade for my ADT service. The installer was here when he stated that he would be and was very professional about the installation. The only negative would be the tutorial he gave was really really quick. Next time I will have him repeat what I didn't really understand. He did try to upgrade my service but he was not pushy at all. He made suggestions and when I told him that I was good with what I had, he let it go. So far I am pleased with the service.

I sincerely hope it is not common practice for your employees (especially two adult males) to show up, unexpectedly, after 8 p.m. in the middle of a work week to try and sell a security system to someone. This happened to me last night. Luckily I was not home alone, or it would have made me even more uncomfortable than I already was. After these things were pointed out to them, one of the men immediately became defensive and pushy. Please stop doing this. You sell home security, so it should be obvious how inappropriate and uncomfortable this is. They even mentioned that they had tried to come by before, but I had not been home. They said they left contact information on those previous attempts...which, clearly, I did not contact them. So of course, they decide to come back. After dark. During a work week. It made me want to do anything but become a customer of your company.

Thank you Safe Haven for allowing these two to provide me with excellent service!

Safe Haven sales people are unclear and shady about the price of the system and the service, you only have 3 days after purchase to return the system if your not happy, after that you have to pay for the equipment in full, not sure if you can cancel the service anytime. Finally, in the 1st 30 days the system has gone off about 4 to 6 times for a false alarm, sometimes the windows don't chime when opened. This was a very expensive mistake.

(Btw...this retailer is in Alexandria, va. Not sure why it shows up as kansas...maybe that's the headquarters.)

I had an ADT security system installed by Josh Hefner. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He know the products that adt offered and set up a security system that s ideal for my home. He was also able to resolve an issue with incorrect information in my contract in a timely manner and secure additional equipment on a weekend. I would recommend him to anybody looking for a security system installation.

My experience today was absolutely awesome. Stuart Was phenomenal with all that he did to make sure me and my family were comfortable after he left. He bent over backwards for us in all that he did. Made sure we understood how to operate the system, let me know what he was doing at every step. Stuart was very enjoyable to speak with, very pleasant guy. Thanks ADT.

Cancelled them after finding other options, they have called to harass me and even showed up at my house UNANNOUNCED.

Jeff Tudhope was great! He was on time and very friendly. I had a few dogs running around and he was very patient when I had to move them between rooms. Jeff was very accommodating and full of helpful information. Jeff offered me a variety of add ons but was never pushy. I look forward to being an ADT customer for many years to come.

Tim Champagne did a great job of coming out and figuring out why my outdoor camera wasn't working. He got it set up and working in a matter of minutes.And kudos to Joel Smith for being able to schedule same day service!

I don't get most of these complaints. I mean, come on its a contract so we don't have to buy the equipment up front. Sign up went well as did my install. Very easy to use the new system. Love the added ADT.GO APP. Protects my family even away from home! I did have one problem and needed a service call setup to look at my ring doorbell 7 months after installed. They came out 3 days later and ran a few test and completely replaced the camera free of charge. It's been 6 months since then and no further problems. App works fast, response to alarms in usually 10 seconds. Like the new touch screen with camera built in. My home automation features I got are well worth it for us. No more key to get into house with our auto lock deadbolt. HVAC control works perfect. I was able to tie my alarm system and smart home features into my Alex! With my ADT.GO APP, i know where everyone is at all times and alerted if a car crash happens. ADT sends out help to a crash site free. Every company has complaints but to be fear, i work with contracts every day and one thing I know is you just can't please everyone. I my self am very pleased with these folks! Thanks for protecting my family. God bless.

Joel and Andrew were very thorough in their appointment with us. Joel told us immediately that he wouldn t be installing and leaving, that he would be sure to walk us through everything before leaving, and he did just that. We felt informed and secure once the appointment was over and we are happy with the products we got! Both were very friendly as well and made us feel comfortable!

Look at all of the negative reviews, that doesn't happen by accident.

I contacted the ADT Sales Agent within 48 hrs to say I had changed my mind and did not want the system. He requested to come out and speak with me and I agreed to have him back out. He then became sick and did not come out as he stated, the kicker being that the 72 hour cancellation window had now passed. The Safe Haven office has refused to allow me out of the contract without paying a huge penalty fee stating that because they did not receive the cancellation notice "in writing" within 72 hours I was now bound to the contract.

This despite the fact that I verbally had requested to have the system removed within the first 72 hours, the Sales Agent has tried to help me dissolve the contract without penalty, and the main ADT office in Florida contacted this "Authorized Dealer" to try and help me out of the contract but the Safe Haven office has refused all requests to let me out of the contract without a large penalty.

Any business that would go to such lengths to protect it's profit has little concern for making satisfied customers.

Wow wow wow, we had an awesome experience with your technician Joseph Collette, he is knowledgeable, patient, respectful and so passionate about what he does. We did not feel rushed and all our questions were answered, though he had lots of assignments he took time to demonstrate and explain more than once how to utilize our system. Safe Haven please know that the above name gentleman is an asset to your company and he makes a difference how customers is to be treated. Thanks a million Mr Collette

Great place to work, if you want to learn and grow your own business they give you the best training on skills to do so!

Our tech, Robert Thompson, came out first thing in the morning right on time great so we could get on with our day. We had a specific issue that we needed someone to look at and he provided and easy effective solution.

A salesman showed up at our home on 9/8/2020 around 2pm about a week after we moved in and asked for 2 minutes to explain the new homeowner discount. He said the old homeowners should have told us about this. I asked him for pamphlets and time to think about it because we just moved in and we were both working at the time. He continued talking instead and then I explained I'm working from home right now and on the clock so I need to get back to work. He got angry and stormed out of the house saying we should have kicked him out about 5 minutes ago. So rude.

Israel Becerra Romero and Ricardo Valtierra took the time to explain everything to me and made sure I understood everything. They were extremely patient and answered all my questions. I recommend you ask for these guys! Very very knowledgeable!!!

Subject: Extremely poor customer service line.

We moved into our new build home in April 2020 and were happy to being pre-wired with the ADT as we have been with ADT Protection One fir many years, and ADT in our former business.

Sadly ADT customer service has dunk to the bottom. Call them and be prepared with a book as you will be on hold for 40 or more minutes. Ask for tech service and the other end will likely know as little as you snd then transfer you to the next level. Be prepared as you will likely get cut off.

Leaving a message might get you a call back in a day or so.

ADT is not the company it used to be even 9 months ago.

ADT is very professional and the agent was very knowledgeable on what my home needed and what was best to protect it for me and my family. Alex explained how to operate the system and what equipment to use to protect the weak points in my home. Thanks Alex.

Salesman lied about the quality of the product, so I called within 12 hours to have it removed, which they did the next day. They sent us a bill for $72, which we called and disputed, and they said they credited us for it. Fast forward 3 months, and my wife and I are getting relentless calls saying we owe them $72. ADT corporate says we have to call safe haven and have them call ADT and tell them the bill isn t outstanding. Safe haven refuses to call corporate and keeps trying to transfer me to corporate, who then tells me to call Safe Haven and have them call ADT. I have a much better security system in my home now than you could ever get from ADT, and it s half the price for monitoring and doesn t go off every time a car passes or the neighbor s dog goes out. Do not trust these clowns with your family s safety, especially if you value your hard earned money.

Greg Conreux was great! He installed my system, got it up and running, and showed me how to use it, answering all my questions along the way. He asked for my preferences for where to place all the equipment, and he explained how the system worked. My place is definitely locked down like Ft. Knox now, and I can sleep easy knowing ADT is keeping an eye on things. Thanks Greg!

Terrible system, and customer service!! We wanted out of our contract earlier after moving and instead of sending a final bill they tried to talk us into installing it at our new property and told us they d give us some time to consider. Following week we receive a bill from a collection agency.. Disregard these pointless people and get yourself a better system.

He is obviously very intelligent in this field but has the ability to explain everything so anyone would be able to understand easily. It was such a pleasure to work with Tony. Dean with ADT was a pleasure as well. Another security company reached out to me twice and my gut feeling was that it wasn t a good fit for me. I was right! ADT and Safe Haven Security will be the only ones I work with and will recommend them to all I know. BRAVO for excellent customer service!

Joel Smith and Chris Hunt came to our house and installed a superior home alarm/fire and protection system today. They explained how every detector, and monitoring sensor works and how completely protected we are from thief, medical problem or fire. Since my mother is alone with kids a lot of the time, I can rest easier knowing they are as safe as possible and in an emergency, help is on the way before we even know these is a problem.
