5 of us saw a country show at the Rusty Rail on a Friday evening. Great experience all-around, with tasty food (wings, chicken tenders, pretzel knots, nachos and more), good beer, and nice atmosphere. The show ran to 11 and the waitress was attentive during it, and made sure to clear the checks before the show ended so we could head out.

Waitress was excellent and the food was hot and tasty.

I had a beer flight. Each was fantastic. Try the Nitro peanut butter blonde - old combination but worked. Food came quickly and was quite good. Our server was personable and attentive. Highly recommend.

Terrible experience, my wife had a half of tray of drinks spilled on her and only got an apology from I guess it was a manager. The least that should have happened was they should of comp her meal but I guess that was to much to be expected. Will think twice before we eat there again and will not recommend it to anyone.

Was told 30 minutes. Got to table in 30 but didn't get food until 1 and a half hours. Food was good but cold. Tables open all over the place. Will not be going back. Management has some serious issues to deal with. Only good service was bar staff.

Our daughter's wedding was a dream come true..I can't think of one thing we would have changed.Elyssa and Roxanne were wonderful and reassuring, fun, friendly and guests were very impressed with how smoothly everything went..The food was absolutely wonderful..served quickly and perfectly presented..thank you RR and your staff for making Becky/Tommy's November 2, 2019 absolutely perfect...hope you got to see the conga line and all of those sequined jackets .......

Beautiful, rustic, and modern event space for a wedding. The hotel rooms are more like apartments, they re huge!

I had the flight, mix of 6 different 5 ounce beers. Pick your own mix. Ordered the pierogies and venison meatballs. Everything was up to par, service was amazing and knowledgeable giving advice on IPA's to choose

Food was pretty okay but the atmosphere is definitely what you're paying for!

Place is very well built and gorgeous. However, all four meals at our table we're sub par, and it wasn't busy. My sourdough pizza was way underdone and mushy. The two burgers we ordered pink were well done. Beers were pretty good, especially the pale. Waitress was awesome and did comp us for the crappy food.

We went at 4pm and got right in. It seemed a bit chaotic at first. It took about 15 minutes before our waitress came to our table. It seemed like no one knew who was going to wait on us. After that things started to flow nicely. Our server was friendly. We ordered and had our food in less than 15 minutes. The portions were huge and the food was delicious. The prices weren't that bad either. The entrees were a little pricey, but everything else was very reasonable. The place was gorgeous. I'm looking forward to going back. Being a brand new place, there will be issues no doubt. I'm sure with time it will be running like a well oiled machine. Mifflinburg is lucky to have a place like this in our backyard.

If you have food allergies do not come here! Usually, even local pubs/breweries are up to date and accommodating with food allergies. No attempt was made to accommodate to make a meal When I went for brunch... all that was offered was a side salad. Extremely disappointed.

The Rusty Rail, I went for BRUNCH with my girlfriend. This is what happened. The service was very very very slow. I ordered the chicken and biscuits. What I got for 12 dollars was two biscuits and a cup of gray. there was NO CHICKEN. the coffee was $2 for a 8 oz cup. overly priced and bad service. will not be eating here again.

The restaurant and hotel is located in a huge renovated buggy factory. Mifflinburg was the buggy capital of Pennsylvania if not the US. When the horse and buggy went passe, this factory began building chassis for Detroit. When Detroit began building their own chassis, this building was converted to cabinetry.

My wife and I had an interesting experience in this restaurant on one of my dozen or so visits. I finished the main course and had to wait half an hour to order dessert. I was pretty steamed, and let the waitress know it when she finally came. I asked what had taken her so long, and she embarrassedly replied, "Sir, I didn't want to tell you, but I have irritable bowel syndrome.' My wife, as an apology for my anger, said, "I understand: I have irritable husband syndrome."

Another time there were two specials on the menu. I ordered the first, only to be told that they were out of that. So, I said, "OK, i'll have the second," only to be told they also were out of that. (I guess that's what was so 'special' about them.) Finally, I chose something from the regular menu. The waitress went back to the kitchen, only to return to announce that they were out of that, too. I was given a $50 coupon for my next meal there, which we never used.

Despite, these episodes, the food is good fare, nothing special. The menu covers the full range of meats, pork, beef, chicken, turkey, very nice salads, and a substantial array of desserts. They have a microbrewery on the premises, which is sold in several regional stores: Weis and Giant markets, that I know of. The beer is very good, but then no better than that of other microbreweries in the area.

What an unbelievably cool place. Beers were great. Food was great. Staff was awesome.

The building is a wonderful place, very well done-congrats to the work done.
We drove 1-1/2 hour and was surprised to find out they had a brunch menu on Sunday, the menu is limited and brunch menu was not shown on the website. 5 of us were in the party, ordered the soup around 2pm to be told 10mins later they had none, so the waitress offered chili on the house. It was tasteless, very bland. Then we ordered desert, poor waitress had to come out and told us they were out banana cheesecake. To close down for an hour to change from brunch to dinner menu seems very odd, never heard of anyone doing this. Overall we were displeased as we brought people with us to enjoy the dinner menu. Wished they would have told us upon arrival about the brunch, we would have not eaten at all.

Food & atmosphere we're good, but not enough to draw us back there!

The menu sounded amazing but when the food was served it was basically frozen food re-heated! The Calamari is rings from a box (No Tentacles which is a dead giveaway).
The Nachos had no cheese.The ravioli was a mouth of dough, no sauce, no flavor.The Cheesesteak -it is called a Cheesesteak-Again no Cheese! I asked the waitress and she the cheese is on the bread.
We went elsewhere for Dessert!

It s a large establishment with light atmosphere and nice waitstaff.

Beautiful old building. I love how they preserved as much of the old wood timbers and beams. It has quite the history. Brew selection is good and food is good. Prices are responsible and wait staff is courteous and attentive. I would definitely recommend.

First time there, service food and beer were VERY good! I sampled all three of the IPAs which were excellent! We tried the Cuban Panini and the cheese steak with beer cheese, it was delicious!

Really nice conversion of old American industrial heritage into a new form. Superb beers in a great atmosphere. We loved the whole experience. Staff couldn't have been better. Highly recommended

Great place for dinner and drinks with friends. They have a lot of seating here, which is nice and makes waits pretty short.

Awesome facility, food, service, and beer! Enjoyed everything about my experience there. The place is impressive--highly recommend.

Although the beer is exactly what you should expect from a small batch brewing company, the price of a draft is too much. @Rusty Rail Brewing Company is charging import and bottling prices for a beer that is made right there. If you're interested in fair priced microbrew drafts in Central PA, check out @Happy Valley Brewing Company in State College, PA.

Great beer, Live music, great food, servers were nice

Food isn't as good quality as it used to be. The chicken in used in our dishes today was processed chicken strips. They used to use real chicken. Great place overall just food isn't what it was.

Destination brewery with really good beer. Highlights were the Single Jack, NOktoberfest, Wanderlust, and the Trails End. Food was good but service was a little hit and miss. We enjoyed the second floor pub but our order had two mistakes. Hostesses could have been a little friendlier when trying to explain the differences between the upstairs and downstairs menus. Not sure the different menus makes for a stellar customer experience.

I enjoyed the atmosphere the food was good the portion they need to work on could always use a little bit more then what they serve and the beer was good

Finally able to get away for the day. Only bad thing was the limited brunch menu on sunday. Would've been nice if they still offered their appetizer menu too.

Great food and the beer is excellent, though maybe a bit pricey at $7 per pint. Seasonal or pub-only offerings make it worth the trip. Everything on the menu is affordable. Options are limited just enough that they don't overwhelm you, yet still enough choice to keep you coming back to try something different. RR is my favorite place to eat in the area even though I live 40 miles away.

I don't even know where to start. My husband and I stayed one night in the Diamond Suite #8. It was great!! Our first reservation was canceled due to issues in the building, but they made up for that big time - they definitely did not have to do that. The room was immaculate and comfortable. We tried to spend time in each part. The decor was so cool!! The bed was really comfortable. The building was closed due to covid so no indoor dining. The staff in the dining area were so nice and accommodating. We will definitely go back to the suites. Thank you!!

Food was excellent! We were there during Sunday brunch and I highly recommend it. They had an assortment of flavored mimosas - the strawberry was delicious. My husband had a couple of their beers which were also very well done. Space is nice and wide open and the service was quick. Great experience!

We were in the area and discovered the Rusty Rail Brewing Company. My husband, Clay, doesn't drop his jaw for a GMC truck - but, today he dropped his jaw when he saw the Rusty Rail Brewing Company! We enjoyed our visit. Clay got a flight recommended by Amy (the friendliest and most helpful bartender ever). I got a class of wine. We shared an appetizer of delicious fresh baked soft pretzels. We are going to return again, God willing! This is a great place and the architecture and interior are also a must see!

My Fiancee and I made the trip from Harrisburg... well, well worth the drive!!! Not our first time. It was a rainy dreary day but we sat upstairs in the gorgeous bar... had drinks and apps with the most personable bartender named Chelsea! I felt like I knew her... I was mistaken but, I have to say, as someone who has worked in customer service in NYC most of my life, when a solid employee comes along... the payoff is big. We'll return! We went home with a new puppy thanks to her tip so KUDOS!!!

Quality beer selection. I had the Yankee Tango to drink, and the fish and chips for my meal. Enjoyed the meal, would definitely go back here again.

Great first impression with this hidden gem. Great selection of items and great custom craft beers at reasonable prices. Can't wait to go back.

Excellent establishment, great food, great drinks, had noah as a server who was excellent and attentive, witnessed a server (I think jazz?) Handle a very rude obnoxious customer with such professionalism and respect. Will definitely be back more often. It is at a perfect location for cyclists on the buffalo valley rails trails

Discovered their beer Fool's Gold because of the artwork at my local beer store. Caused my partner and I to continue to try their beer where ever we saw it on a menu. Ended up deciding to take a weekend trip to their brewery. Located in Mifflinburg, Pa there is not much else around the town apart from this amazing brewery. But they definitely make it worth the trip. Three floors. Bottom is their restaurant. Table service dinner menu/brunch on Saturday and Sunday. The second floor is a game room. Complete with taxidermy big game animals, pool tables, shuffleboard, foosball, and tabletop videogames. Menu is slightly different from downstairs. More pub type fair such as burgers and nachos. Third floor is suites for you to stay the night! Usually reserved for weddings/wedding parties. They are beautiful. Fridge, microwave, complimentary snacks and coffee. Note, no oven. Treat yourself to an overnight visit. Hollywood Casino is only about an hour drive away or visit State College a much shorter 20-30 minute drive from the town.

Awesome beer and the food was on point. Plus all the bar games were free! A few critiques: the upstairs room had a disturbing amount of dead animals, including a baboon, warthog, and mountain goat as well as a [probably real] zebra rug. This was definitely distracting and took away from the ambiance of the bar. It seemed the owners were perhaps trying to 'show off' their safari kills. Also, there were teenage boys playing pool while adults were trying to play, which was pretty distracting. So great food and beer and the downstairs bar was nice. If you don't like to be surrounded by dead animals, just stay in the downstairs bar area.

Amazing service and we loved the emerald heart beer it taste like a thin mint cookie and we loved the smoked wings with wolf king bbq sauce definately a return trip and soon!!!!

Some great beer options, and the food did not disappoint either. Many breweries don't have nearly as good of a good game, and many only have one or two star beer options. Several great beers here, and a few interesting novelty flavors, backed up with some really good eats.

Beautiful, spacious facility. Buried in the center of the Commonwealth, there's full menu, plenty of seating, event accommodations and full bar. Beer is standard microbrew fare with a few stellar performers, all worth a try. All in all, a great experience, as they say, 'worth the drive on Rte 45.'

Beer and food and atmosphere are just outstanding you won't be disappointed

Been to this place perhaps a dozen times. Last time it took us well over an hour to get seated even though there were very few people there. Another hour to get served. The food was average at best and the portions tiny. I'd never go back again

I enjoyed the food. I thought it had a great atmosphere. There's a bunch of different types of beer to cater to whatever you may desire. The service was amazing. I thought it was kind of expensive, but I think the experience is worth it. I'd go there again if not just to try the different beers.

This place is huge. Really enjoyed the atmosphere and friendly staff. They have a good beer selection and the food was good as well. Reservations are a good idea because this place seems to draw a crowd.

Great interior decor. The prime rib was fantastic. The Wolf King stout will make all other beers seem weak and pathetic by comparison. You are warned.

Great spot! I tried to give Rusty Rail 6 stars, but the max amount is only 5..If you are driving through the area, this place is a must stop for some great food and drinks. The Brewpub, restaurant and outside seating area is amazing. I stopped here on a warm summer night, we sat outside. The service was great- the waitress did not rush us as we tried to look through the extensive beer and dinner menu. This was probably the best part. There is so much to choose from on the menu, you can't go wrong. We ordered two flights of their own beers and enjoyed the variety.

They also have an upstairs bar with shuffleboard and arcade games. Really fun for happy hour or bringing friends. Not too much negative with my experience here. I would recommend and can't wait to come visit again in the future.
