Outstanding views of Miami! The outdoor seating is a perfect spot for eating and drinking while enjoying the weather. The service was also great. Attentive staff with recommendations on the best dishes. Food was delicious. We had grilled octopus and some oysters to start. Then came surf & turf and halibut for the main courses. Drinking Japanese Whiskey and Martinis. The famous corn bread is not to be missed!

Burger in paradise and fish tocos were awesome. The view was beautiful. Our server was amazing!

It was amazing, my most favorite was the octopus, but overall everything was deliciously prepared.

I have been here twice for happy hour and had a great time. This one was especially nice. We were there on a Thursday night. It was still fairly busy but we were seated inside without a reservation. The view was amazing from our table. We were waiting on my brother to come from the airport so we were not able to time things well. Our server "Roberto de Italino" was incredibly nice. He not once made us feel bad that we had to wait to order food before my brother arrived. He still politely checked in in case we needed anything. Once my brother arrived he also treated him very well making his first impression of Miami a great one. Overall, we had an amazing experience because ambiance and food is delicious but more importantly because Roberto was a great waiter. Give that man a raise! If you're reading this Roberto, thank you so much for everything!

It is a very cozy place I recommend it 100% I really like it

We expected to have a Family Time for Thanksgiving dinner , but I'm unfortunately we didn't get that .
The Waiter Leonel pressured us to order the main course because the kitchen will be closed and he had 20 minutes in the restaurant.
We paid $400 for that unpleasant dinner and I think we didn't deserve that .
We spoke with the Manager Cesar and we hope this terrible Situation doesn't happen to anyone!

Great food and equally great service. If you ever eat here ask for Douglas he'll give you top notch waiter service

We had a reservation and still had to wait. E were also told we could not sit for more than an hr and a half. Upon sitting the server was sweet. The views were lovely. However for a first time dining experience I expected more. The one in a melon drinks were so so, spare yourself and go with the blood orange if you like margaritas. It was also a wait in between drinks about 15 minutes. Crab cake was great. Chicken and waffles...waffles had been sitting and the fried chicken was tasteless. This was not a great experience for a first time, especially traveling from Palm Beach.

My first impression of the Rusty Pelican was not good to say the least. I made a reservation 2 weeks in advance and requested a table with a view. Apparently all the 5 scattered tables that had a nice view were "Manager reserved" I did notice however the segregation in the seatings. I dont know if it was because of my attire (dress shoes, Jean's, Polo) or because im Spanish but they really felt the need to sit us away from the nicer seatings/view. And guess what couples I saw around us yup.. you guessed it. I recommend driving in with a Ferrari or being white if you want to be respected here. Food and staff was fenominal that's why I'm giving 3 stars. Food was priced affordable and only ended up spending $200 + tip for the both of us. Next time I'll pick a more culturally diverse restaurant.

Great food, great view, great service. For a good time definitely recommended.

Great ambiance however, the food was not great. I had the Fried Snapper. It was veryyyyy bland, absolutely no seasoning. I could have gone to a mom and pop restaurant and had better. Beside the food not being great. The time it took to pay the check was horrible. Me and party, waited for 30-35 minutes for our checks to arrive once were done eating. Not sure if our waiter was new or, busy which it wasn't but we waited 30 minutes for him to bring our checks. Manager was absolutely no assistance when we bought it to his attention. I'm sure, the RP has other great items on the menu but, the Fried snapper is not one of them unless you like a bland fish.

After initial disappointment due to being seated in a 2 person separated table, the manager honored our initial request to have a table with a view of the bay. Which we had requested due to a special occasion.

Excellent place, excellent view, I had been many years ago and I did not like the restaurant, however, I had been to various activities in the salons and the food was exquisite, but I think they changed something in the kitchen because the food is tasty.

A MUST for any visit to Miami. SPECTACULAR view of Downtown Miami. The food goes into the background .. the outdoor terrace, as well as high demand is very impressive .. especially in the evening and at sunset!

Overrated place. Made reservation and still had to wait about 20 minutes. Outdoor sitting is not guaranteed, which is the single reason we went. The food is "blah". Service was fine. As a local, I would probably not go back.

Spectacular location and awesome food! Not cheap. I think my steak was $65 and that was a la carte, meaning my sides were separate and extra. But a great date night out on the water!

So this is an edit to my first rating, which was based on an experience from about 3 years ago. Well...We went again this weekend (my second time but my boyfriend has been many times over the years). The menu had just about nothing on it, not a sing soup and only 2 steaks. We made reservations and were sat in the BAR...where apparently anyone could walk in and take any table they wanted. The music was loud and obnoxious. The table next to us was sat at the EXACT same time as we were...they got their food...finished their steaks and lobster...and we were still waiting..and waiting and waiting. When the steaks ($50 steaks) got there....we had no knifes...Waiting 5 more minutes before I was able to FLAG down some other server. Won't be going back.

Beautiful place for dinner or any meal of the day really. You can see the beautiful Miami skyline, and sunset there is the best. There food is so good and very reasonable price. Totally love the view, the food and the service. Make sure you try out their desserts too. My family and I were there for happy hour and to enjoy sunset, and it was worth every minute.

Had a wedding dinner here. Was fantastic. Service and food was exactly as I had hoped amd expected. Later in the night enjoyed a very nice cigar outside and great drinks at the bar. Very nice and corgial bartender.

Most amazing food and service ! Well come back again and again! Highly recommend to everyone. Also if you go choose to sit outside by the water, the view is breathtaking and so relaxing

I went to eat they welcomed us at the entrance, we asked for a table with a view of the sea in the patio, they told us that they did not send tables, leaving 10 empty tables and we left thanks for the good service in the lobby

I ve been here a few times. It s a staple restaurant on Key Biscayne with picturesque views of downtown Miami.

The location is right on the water giving it that extra special feel, and makes you crave seafood.

The food, and there is very good. I really enjoy there happy hours if I can make it because it makes the price much more reasonable.

It is a bit fancy, but they welcome you if your coming off a boat too... you are on Key Biscayne after all

WHAT A DISSAPOINTMENT!! a beautiful view and ambiance ruinned by lack of service, enthusiasm and over hyped food to. To begin as we say we waited 15 minutes to receive water no service but water 22 min later. someone came over and introduce themselves as our waiter with nothing but a lack of enthusiasm not to mention that we received our bread at the same time that we received our appetizers approximately 35 minutes into our meal. When the food finally came I had to ask 3 different people to bring me lemons. Two of which never appeared again until finally I chased somebody down. As far as the food is concerned, it was unnecessarly over priced.
I must say I cannot recommend nor would I ever come back.

The view from this restaurant is absolutely amazing. We sat outside and saw geckos dolphins and manatees while we ate out meal. .My wife had the poke bowl and I had the wagyu. I ordered the wagyu medium rare but it was much tougher then I expected from a wagyu steak. My wife loved the poke bowl

I went with my fiance here for dinner. You cannot beat these spectacular views. The food, while good, was not exceptional to justify the price. Service was on the slow side, too.

I had a phenomenal experience at this restaurant. My waiter Akosh Bata provided the VIP serve and rolled out all the stops!!! He provided such great service, paying close attention to the small details, and even anticipating our needs before hand. We were celebrating a special life event and Akosh supported our celebration with the full 5 star experience. He s extremely personal, yet very professional.

The manager Rafael Teleroi, himself is equally as professional, making certain that his staff provide the utmost in customer service excellence.

The food was delicious. The view of the Miami skyline is great. I highly recommend this place to anyone for a romantic evening out.

Great dining experience here last night celebrating wedding anniversary. Food was excellent and my waiter Douglas went above and beyond to make our dining experience a great and memorable event. My only recommendation would be to have an option for outdoor seating available when doing reservations online as the wait for outside dining was about 2 hours. I highly recommend The Rusty Pelican for a special dining experience!

The best. Pick a clear, bright day and sit on deck to look at Miami skyline. Fresh oysters and fresh made sangria are my favs

highly recommended. If you go to Miami you must go. Make your reservation. The place is somewhat expensive. The menu is interesting although it is not from another world but the view you have of the bay makes up for it

I would say that you can't stop going when you come to Miami, just passing the bridge and seeing the city from there is magical and adding the quality of its cuisine makes it a unique place.

We had dinner at the Rusty Pelican - Miami. It was a great experience. The food was excellent as was the service.

There is nothing bad to say about this place besides the parking situation but that's understandable. The food is always spot on, the views are incredible and very friendly staff. If you are ever visiting Key Biscayne, this is a must.

Cold fish, slow service, never again! The view can t replace the bad food!

It took them 20 min to come to our table when we arrived. The food is ok, nothing outstanding.

I came to celebrate my fiance's birthday. I must say by far I had one of the best experiences. We sat by the water and the view was outstanding. My server made the experience like no other with his impeccable service and even spoke of his life as a cyclist which personalized our experience. He was absolutely amazing. One thing that did bother me was the fact that two of my plates were chipped. I brought the first plate to the servers attention which he immediately corrected, but then I recieved another plate during my dinner with plantain mash that was also chipped. Beyond the plate issue, the lamb, lobster, and fish were to die for and I will definitely be returning and will request the same server.
