Me and my Hubby went here for my birthday , he set up a wonderful surprise we sat outside to enjoy the view in a perfectly cozy spot with the fire place on , we ordered Rusty Pelican for 2 it was to die for ! And for dessert my fave ! Warm Cafe Con Leche which was like a coffee caramel lava cake with yummy Cookies and Cream ice Cream , by far the best birthday dinner ever !!

My client had their wedding reception at this venue on the second floor. The view is spectacular, the food was great and the service was very nice. I recommend this venue for events and weddings.

After a bad experience I decided to give the opportunity again and
I returned on April 1, 2021 to celebrate my sister's birthday, because I like the view of the place. They really are incredible, but unfortunately the lousy food the fried snapper tasted like old oil, the horrible fried squid, the burnt octopus, and the house sea bass a steal $ 49 a square of fish on a banana puree and a rice like Mexican more common than anywhere else will become better. Very disappointed with the attention

Any meal here comes with an amazing view, as well as great service. A very unique menu with dishes that stand out from the norm. Tons of interior space with exterior space as well for those who want to take in the sea breeze. Reservations are available and highly recommended. Usually would skip dessert but they are to die for here.

I am very disappointed my husband and I came for our 20th anniversary and had great references of the restaurant. The waitress was great but the food was just horrible I ordered a mash potatoe and cake cold and my husband ordered a risotto with shrimp and lobster and was cold. I won't be back u fortunately. I hope they fix the problem otherwise they will loss lots of business.

Was here for a work event. The view is unmatched. Short Rib was excellent, dessert was meh. Overall pretty solid place. Cannot comment on prices because I did not pay but I enjoyed my meal and view thoroughly

The manager was super accommodating and professional, Alaura was awesome and the food was really good. Salmon is divine, chicken is super good, risotto yummy keylume pie really good too. View as we all know magicccc!

If you're hungry, stop by Burger King to fill up. I keep my Cuban food.

I have lived in Miami for over 10 years. I can say overall that high end restaurants's service is decaying. I had to ask for a water refill, the beer was served to me straight from the bottle (I'm a lady), the beer was not cold enough. The server was overwhelmed (we were a party of 11), the appetizers took over an hour to be served and end up being served with the entrees, not even a refill of the drink was offered and to make things worst they would not split the check by couples or groups. So we end up paying our host with cash and every couple paid for what they ate. Not so great experience for such a fancy place. The food was almost plain and tasteless for $30 each plate??!! Unbelievable how this beautiful place can be a uninteresting experience. We were there for a birthday. We don't think of ever come back. Sorry!!!

Got the Crab Cake and Prosecco. Crab cake was delicious with chunks of crab. Excellent. Views are the best open water with boats going by.

Great views, awesome service, food had really good flavors. Pricy, but expected considering the location. The only down side is the small portions.

When I saw the big neon sign, I thought tourist trap, but we heard good things and decided to give it a try...so glad. Excellent friendly service from Roberto for lunch. He made great suggestions. The salmon BLT on homemade ciabatta was divine. Desserts looked really wonderful, but we didn't have time. Pouring rain, but the view would be fabulous on a better day.

I have been here before on a date. I was in doors at that particular time. This time I went there for my birthday and I wasn't satisfied with my service or the greeters in the front. I made my reservation through open table. When the first party got there she was not seated. She was left in the waiting area until everyone else got there. I wanted to enjoy an intimate dinner with two friends for my birthday and I was not pleased at all. I left upset and disappointed in the restaurant. When I addressed the ladies in the front one stated I did not have reservations that I just walked in. I explained to her that I did have reservations and I put on the reservations that it was my birthday so I was celebrating a special moment. She then stated oh we don't sing you happy birthday or anything. I did not come here for you to sing me happy birthday nor did I come here to get second hand service from what is suppose to be one of miami's top restaurants. The attitude was not necessary, her lack of care and urgency to attend to the issue at hand did not help much. Displeased with the service because of how long everything took. The food was good and the second waitress tried to make the situation better but it was too late.

Attentive and friendly servers. As far as the food and drinks: Mr 305 drink was really good, best cocktail I've had in quite some time. I didn't enjoy the ceviche.(I usually like it anywhere I go).The surf turf lacked portion and tasted ok. The sea bass was really good. Unique flavor. Black cherry cheesecake was delicious. The only reason I don't give a 5star is partially because of the surf turf dish that lacked portion and taste. Secondly, we had reservations to sit outside to enjoy a good meal with a beautiful view but we were sitted on the side towards the back where we heard dishes constantly and heard servers talking( work related and making sure tables were being attended) but still I didn't want to here that. I was on a date celebrating a late Valentine's dinner. In addition, when we were walking to a table there were 2 clean tables available centered outside with a perfect view. The experience was good but for a bill that was $200 bucks I rather be taken some where else. I have to give credit to valet, those guys can move!

The place would only give 5 strella for the location it has and its view ,, This weekend visit Rusty Pelican since they recommended it to me and the truth is that the food is not good for anything, I ordered a sea and land and the steak seemed they had it done, they brought it to me super cooked when ordered Medium and super cold, the pure of Potato served cold and wise to intantanio, the drinks I do not tell you.the BARTENDER must take classes like making Mojitos, I do not recommend it for NOTHING .. A WORKER DINING ROOM .....

This place is great for weddings, birthday parties, bar mitzvahs, bat mitzvahs, corporate events etc. Beautiful view of miami skyline and easy to locate from the freeway. The staff here is amazing and quick to go out of their way to help or assist you.

Great views. No doubts. Food was good. Waiter that replaced the one that didnt show up on time was very nice. But it took a while before management sent a replacement .

Furniture are pretty cheap. Crowd is not the best. Lots of families.

If it wasnt for the views probably the owner would be less cheap and invest in some improvements.

I WAS JUST THERE THIS PAST SUNDAY 10/25/15 AND WHAT A HORRIBLE BRUNCH .
TO MY UNDERSTANDING A BRUNCH MEANS TABLES FULL OF FOOD AND FOR ONE SCRAMBLE EGG ONE GLASS OF MIMOSA AND ONE COFFEE AND PANCAKE AND BACON I HAD TO PAY $ 40.00 PER PERSON AND MY FAMILY WAS ALSO VERY UPSET THAT A PLACE THAT LOOKS SO NICE ARE GIVING SUCH HORRIBLE FOOD ..... AFTER I FINISHED I HAD TO STOP WITH MY FAMILY TO EAT LUNCH EVERYONE WAS HUNGRY ...

If you are looking at these comments to decide if you would visit this place ,,,, I recommend it for the view, the food is very poorly cooked. It does not taste like anything and the prices are very high for the cooks so bad they have, there was a very ugly fight and rabble that came to the parking lot, do not go to this place to celebrate anything, I do not recommend it at all,

My experience with Rusty Pelican is 100% good. This is the real place to spend the best time when you need to relax an have a great dinner . My respect for this place

We had reservations for 7pm and waited about 20 minutes to be seated. Once seated, we waited about 1/2 hour till anyone came to our table. The server that came to our table never came back. We stopped another server and asked if someone was waiting on our table. That server then waited on us and took drink order. Then we waited another 20 minutes until we were asked to order. We were a party of 8 and only had one server. He did the best he could but service was very slow. The food was good but we certainly didn't feel that our patronage was appreciated.

Wife had a good time, service was good and view was amazing, but the food was overly salty, had them exchange but it was still salty, spending over $150 I cant leave more than 3 stars no matter how good the service or view is.

It was a location overlooking Miami Bay, and the cuisine was delicious, especially for seafood
In the afternoon the outside seats will also be in the shade so it will be comfortable to enjoy lunch.

Since the remodel the service and food have been terrible.

The worst experience ever! I would never return there with my Wife ever again. First and foremost the waitress was not polite and seems as if she was really frustrated working there! Secondly how can i order a medium-well steak and get served a well done steak with bar-b-que sauce. I then ask the waitress for a different sauce and she brings out ranch sauce as if I dont know the taste. Lastly she then tries to add nearly a $200 tip to the tab in front of my face as if I was drunk and wouldn't notice... Im sorry Rusty Pelican and that's a No for me dawg...SN: I left my food at the front entrance on purpose with such disgust to even bring that home, let alone in my car

Too expensive for the hype but okay. The place is beautiful. Will definitely go again

I really love the place the atmosphere was really amazing, but i think the portions of the food aren't the best, still the food it's really delicious!

Came for a nice night out with the wifey. We went around sunset so we got to see the skyline change from light to dark. I will say the best part about this place is its view.

Our food definitely took a very long time to come out, though the restaurant was somewhat busy, still no way it should ve taken this long.. I went ahead and ordered the Pork Chips and Mash Potatoes which was pretty amazing, not even gonna lie!

Aside from the long wait for dinner, which probably isn t always the case, this is a beautiful dinner spot.

Did NOT like that the waiter punched in a 20% tip on my credit card while processing payment! Shouldn't I be the one who decides how much of a tip I want to leave???

Great food, friendly staff, and speedy service. Went here for my wedding anniversary as a recommendation from a friend and was not disappointed.

Our waitress was very friendly and amiable. All the services wore masks, hand sanitizers everywhere. With regards to food, I highly recommend the Chilean sea bass (delicious, but the sweet plantains mash was very overwhelming; I preferred the regular mash that came with the surf & turf). For dessert, the lava cake was delicious and probably my favorite part of the meal.

The only downside is that although we made a dinner reservation, there was still a wait time when we arrived (longer for outdoor seating).

Somehow, this place keeps getting better and better as the years go by. I loved Rusty Pelican when it was a 40-year old waterfront landmark. Now, $7 million dollars later, it is a modern, sexy hot spot facing beautiful Biscayne Bay. I can think of very few things more pleasant than a relaxed meal at Rusty Pelican, watching the boats go by and the sun set.

For those who want to eat deliciously and enjoy a great view of Miami, I recommend this place!
