Amazing place, beautiful view, I recommend the lobster

Went for a event. Food was ok service was lacking. 3 hours for a four-course meal

Really awesome view, it has a great service, you can eat watching the city and the sea water. But personally food isn't that good, too expensive and flavor isn't the best... I was expecting something else.

I went with a friend to dinner at the Rusty Pelican restaurant on the water after many years. The view of the Miami skyline was spectacular along with perfect ambience for a romantic evening. We were promptly seated at our table located with a perfect view. Shortly after our server arrived and to our drink orders, while we took in the scenery. After a delicious dinner followed by a few drinks, we decided to step outside where we could enjoy the sea breeze. We both left the restaurant talking about what a great experience we had and when next we would be returning. Thanks to all of the staff at your restaurant for making our experience so memorable.

The view is amazing. The food was hit or miss but better than average for sure. I definitely recommend going at least once.

Beautiful view! But the prices are a little higher than comparable places.

This place was amazing!!! We went there for 2 of my Sister Queen's birthday dinner, the food was amazing, the service by Evan was excellent and the atmosphere was spectacular!!! We will go back again the next time we are in Miami!!!

Just had a amazing dinner at rusty pelican, a guy from Croatia born in Serbia was our server (don't remember his name ) he was amazing, really took care of us ! Amazing food, place and view .

Appetizers weren t good!!!! But main entree were fabulous!!!!

Great views of the city, night and day, good service. The food was phenomenal and everyone had a good time. We were there for a wedding and it was an amazing experience. Bartenders and wait staff very professional but friendly. Valet was only $6. I didn't give a 5 star because the entry/exit to the site is long and winding, some places need a fresh coat of paint and there were only 3 stalls in the bathroom upstairs for huge events.

Beautiful view. We made reservations last minute. They have a very unusual take on cornbread that was a pleasant surprise. The food was excellent. Good service. My scallops were done to perfection.

Called on monday to make a reservation of 8 for a business meeting and they keeped me on hold for more 20 min twice without a respose.also left a messages for them with the explanation of what had happen and they never called me back. They dont care about customer service at all it was going to be my first time at this place. I wouldn't recommend this place. They are other placea in town that care shop around

I was honestly disappointed the service here is EXTREAMLY slow. Had a reservation for 8:45 and we got seated like at 10:45 waitress took forever to bring out food and was slow overall. Food is okay and so is the atmosphere but I recommend to come on a weekday definitely not on the weekend

i may have had my expectation to high, because it was a last minute anniversary dinner. but i would return, very nice view and pretty good food

I ve been coming here for years. As a local I ve seen the many transitions of the Rusty Pelican and it truly has been a special place in its current form. Food is always good and service staff is fantastic. Last nights meal with friends was less then good, portion sizes seem to have shrunk from what I recall, my grouper was over cooked and we all know over cooked fish just isn t that good. The crowd seemed to have shifted, it s always been a spot for tourist but the mix was always a solid 50/50 yet last night felt like it was a tourist trap. Pricing seemed a little off and the value just wasn t there. That s hard to say as I ve taken many customers, suppliers and friends to dinner there over the past few years. My hope was this was just an off night but it didn t leave me longing to come back.

Best time I had during this pandemic
I ll start with the good things: The food is excellent and the staff are very attentive. For the entree, the salmon was unbelievable. Amazingly tender with a rich flavor. The mashed potatoes they sat on were also good. The side of broccoli needs major work. No taste, no flavor, and cold. The mashed potatoes were much better. The dessert lava cake is delicious as well. The staff keke was very attentive and brought me refills on my drink in a timely manner when asked. The cons are that their prices do not match their image. The floor felt sticky to walk on and i there was a large dirty rug. I could go on but bottom line is a professional deep cleaning in needed to make the restaurant appear as elegant as the prices are. The silverware was brought to us in a wrinkled paper bag. I am sure that had to do with COVID precautions but it simply does not look elegant. The traditional way of using table cloths and placing the silverware set up for each chair at the table would look a lot better. I loved the food and service from keke but for the price I paid I would have preferred a more elegant place.

My husband and I went on February 13, we had a 8:45 reservation, we had a wait to check in, we were told we only had 1-1/2 hours at the table. We were sat by 9:10, at 9:40 my husband went to the bar for drinks since NO ONE came to the table. We spoke to the manager who grabbed a waiter and bought us a round. This is a fine dining experience, but there was nothing fine about it. We got the meal for 2, $125, EVERYTHING was cold. Everything was mushed on the plate, it all tasted like one thing. The whole experience was horrendous. We received stacked plates, no bread. We didn t have plates put down in front of us, they were tossed on the table in a stack, as well as the silverware in paper bags (I assume COVID) I have been to less expensive restaurants and it was more elegant and respectful than this one. Herd them in and herd them out, look at the pretty view while we do subpar work at the table and in the kitchen. Won t be back.

the view is amazing, but that's about the only positive thing going for it.
pricing is high, food is average. We were in one of the big upstairs room and other than the view it felt like any convention hall in north america.

Nice but could have been better served... not one to write negative comments but i was there for a wedding and although the food was good one of the banquet what seemed to be manager gave me the wait a minute finger...

Best restaurant experience ever. Totally remodeled, so dont go by those rusty old looking pictures. Great service overall. Prices are adequate according to the location of the restaurant.

Celebrating my beautiful girlfriend birthday we had a great time

The food is overpriced for its quality. You're really paying to be able to eat next to the view of the city skyline from the water. The menu is mostly seafood. I'm not a seafood person so it just sucks for me. It might be worth it for you if you like sea food and feeling "classy".

The place is wonderful, very good attention, the problem when more crowded they tell you, you can only these 2 hours in my person I recommend it for those who go for that time at least I do not visit that place anymore

Very good food! The filet mignon was the best I've ever had to tell the truth. Awesome atmosphere outside with the best view of Miami at sunset! Ask for Douglass for the very best service, dude was great! Our whole dinner selection was top 5!

We just go back from a 12 day vacation/cruise, so we had some extra time before heading to Miami airport. Went to the Rusty pelican for a late lunch early dinner. This restaurant is amazing, with amazing views of downtown Miami and the port of Miami. The food here was the best food we had our trip. We had ordered the whole Maine lobster and it was perfect, probably the best lobster I ever had. The short rib Empanadas were very delicious with the sauces they had served with it. Everyone in the family enjoyed those.
One of my daughters had the burger and she said it was cooked perfectly juicy and very flavorful. My other daughter had the pasta Pomodoro I think it was called, that was also very delicious. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is visiting Miami, or lives in Miami. The service there was five star service, Douglas was our waiter and he did a great job, thank you very much. We look forward to eating here again next time we visit Miami.

Excellent views of the water and skyline; outdoor patio seating has heaters and fire pits for cold nights; entrees are $31-48 and you get a good serving size; chef recipe cornbread served for the table was unique- don't need the salt

Been coming here since I was 9 I am now 24. Since moving to Atlanta my girlfriend and I come to Miami every September and always make sure to stop by Rusty Pelican. This is our second time coming together and service is always top notch you feel like royalty here, food is exceptional, cocktails are made with love, and the killer view is always breathtaking. Oysters are a must have here as well as the surf and turf (short rib 6hr cooked with lobster with scratch Mac and cheese) best Mac and cheese hands down, as well as 12oz dry aged New York strip, and if you like fish the branzino with couscous. Thank you Rusty Pelican for staying open for all these years and hope many more to come!

The food was really good, but there is poor management in this restaurant, since waitresses were overwhelmed with the amount of tables they are assigned, it took forever even for the drinks to come. And the interiors of the restaurant are in very bad shape, some lamps shades were broken, the lighting is very outdated and the carpet loos disgusting. I hope the right person reads this review, cause either the owners or management are veery greedy.

Not bad, but not as great as I remember prior to the pandemic. . I'll check back in a couple weeks. . .

The food really delicious, but the attention especially of the people at the reception leaves a lot to be desired.
