Russell Hockey

Shady group of people. They are very fast to take your money and have great communication until you get in to discussions of a refund and make it impossible. I've lodged a complain with the BBB. Highly advise to avoid this league for anything.

This is a fun league for those players that are looking to have a good skate. The shinny style is a great format for players that want a little more than shinny but less competitive than some of the more aggressive leagues. I enjoy the skates at Richmond Hill, Aurora, Bradford and Markham. This is a good league for beginners as well as for those willing to teach the game to others. We are all friends, as long as you stay out of my crease :)

Great league for those looking for a fun but organized game complete with refs. Co Ed. Many of the players have been playing here for a long time. Not for competitive players but the best league for vigorous, fun games!!!!

big fan of Russell hockey. i have be playing Russell hockey for close to 15 years. both winter and summer seasons. if your looking for a well paced and supervised rules game, this is it. Mississauga/Malton games host is JP and he really knows how to rally the boys for a great game. experienced or not, this game is for everyone.

Calling Russell hockey is like speaking to a 12 year old you just grounded. I m not sure what happened to him, but I don t wish it upon anyone. I received a call from him, as I had only put down the minimum deposit and the remaining was due. But was still awaiting a schedule and roster that was communicated would be sent by email (after following up 4 times since putting down the deposit) His vm said I need the remaining funds in immediately or he would refund my deposit by end of week. He also mentioned now the league unfortunately only had enough players for 2 teams ( not at advertised!) I called him back, and he said that he was sorry the email never came out, but they are two games in now. I said given the circumstances and lack of communication, I would just want the deposit back. His response was, it s not his problem and he can only afford my deposit refund if he finds another player to pay it lol Don t waste your time or patience having to deal with this idiot. My advice to Robert Russel would be to find respectful help for his business instead of angry kids answering the phones that live in their parents basements.

This league is a joke, beware of them. It is not even hockey, people are learning to skate here. When asking for a refund they ignore you! Avoid at all costs

Great group of people. Coed League and a lot of fun. This is date night for my husband and I and there are other couples that play together as well. It is a good level of hockey. Beginner to experienced. It is a good clip and sometimes fast but I have fun playing. The 90 sec buzzer shifts keep everyone honest and I like this best. I look forward to playing. We also participate in the weekly skill sessions. Excellent.
