This was my second trip to this spa, the first was in 11/16 for my daughter s 30th birthday. The first time here was amazing, I felt pampered and the spa looked like it was in top shape. At that time, this was the only spa I placed second to the Four Seasons at Westlake Village in CA. This most recent visit for my birthday was different, and you could tell the last 3 years have impacted the facility, the paint, wallpaper, seating and other aspects look quite worn and needing a refresh. The service was not as impeccable as the 2016 visit, I waited more than 40 minutes for someone to take my beverage order in the lounge area. The pedicure was very different as well, not a big deal just less. I had the Orange Blossom pedicure and when I was here in 2016, you received a green silk-like pouch with a small size of the nail polish used on you along with he buffing and filing tools. This time it was a Disney plastic bag with just the buffing and filing tools, again, no big deal, but less for more is something to comment on.
The Good: Great massage, facial and pedicure were good.
Opportunity: Touch up the paint, wallpaper, and get the sofas and reclining chairs updated, make it feel less production and more personal, increase the service visits to the lounge to ensure people are not waiting 40 minutes for a beverage. It needs more magic the way it was in 2016.
