Amazing. Best golf course I've played. It's great because it was built by the Dye's, has views of the bay for 15 holes; two holes run against it. It's great because it was built to be a great golf course, not to sell homes, or private memberships or increase land value but yo be a beautiful accessible public golf course built by a royal family of golf course architects. Its amazing. It's been rates first in state for public golf, has the same superintendent since During construction. Same starter for 21 years! You pay and then go to driving range which borders first tee so it's right there! Free range balls, second to none service. It's just an amazing experience and I recommend to everyone over and over and over.

Friendly staff and well maintained fairway and greens - very fast!!!!! Great ocean course. There's quite bit of delay if you are a fast golfer but that comes with beautiful Oceanside public course! Worth the green fees.

If you are looking for a spectacular course, this is it. Links course with a beautiful layout, great shape and even better views. Good mix of holes. Tough greens. Shots that require some thinking. Only reason it didn't get 5 stars us because I played it in April aftee a rough winter, greens haven't fully recovered.

My husband and I love this course! Its in great condition with greens that roll great. The starter was so friendly and welcoming today as well. The views are gorgeous and the layout is fun and challenging. Highly recommend and definitely one of the best courses we've played in the area.

Excellent course to play while on vacation! Unique layout. Well kept and great staff who are very hospitable. Just the right amount of challenge for every skill level. Tee boxes and fairways were 95% perfect for late April time frame. Greens were challenging but not impossible. Rolled very true. The holes along the bay shore were beautiful and fun to play. You will need a good draw shot as well as fade to be in good position on most holes. Can't wait to come back again. Clubhouse was decent - would have liked more choices for breakfast and lunch at the turn.

This was awe inspiring! The location and layout are unbelievable. I had a hard time keeping pace as this is such a beautiful course to play. This is by far one of the top ten courses I have ever played both here in the US and abroad.
The staff from the starters to the cart girl and bag boy were all courteous and concerned that you enjoyed your visit here. I can't say enough about the course and it overall condition. I would truly be remiss if I didn't tell you to put this one on your "Bucket list" of courses to play, especially while your in the oceans city Md. Area. It does play tough but the kind of tough a golfer really can enjoy!

Played most of the courses in the Delmarva area and Rum Pointe is by far my favorite. From Clubhouse to Bayside golf holes and back a wonderful golfing experience. Tough but a fair course.Greens a little tricky. Phenomenal views on a amazing layout. Excellent shape and friendly staff. Thank you Rum Pointe.

This ain't no 118-122 slope course! I'll rate the slope as 131;I was told they are expecting the course to get re rated this year...there hurting themselves by not being rated correctly. If I hadn't been with others, I would have past on this course because of such a low slope(un challenging)
Very nice course and plenty of penalty area's like water, especially the 9th & 18th , great holes back to club house. Grasses & Greens great.
The wind here is always present, can be a really tough course on big wind days, especially the holes near ocean.

Beautiful course that we have been playing for 3 years on our annual golf trip. On our most recent visit we got caught in some rain after 9 holes. We waited it out in the club house where we ate drank and loaded up on rain gear. For the 8 of us we probably spent close to $2k for the day. We went back out after the rain stopped and no one mentioned that the rule was changing to cart path only, nor did any rangers drive out to alert us of a change. I don t think we saw a ranger out there all day. As we were finishing the 18th, the lead guy from the pro shop hustles out across the green and up to us in the fairway only to get in our face like we are his 12 year old kids. We asked what the problem was and his response was you guys are the problem! Last time I checked we were the customers with open wallets all day. Had there been any indication as to the change in cart rules we would have happily obliged. Sorry pal, but whatever messages you think you were sending to us via the GPS in the carts were not getting to us. You then had to walk over to yell at the foursome behind us as they were on the fairway as well. You might want to think about changing your notification system. You are disrespectful and we certainly didn t intend to be by being on the fairway. Plenty of other nice courses there that I m sure will appreciate our business next time.

8/03/19..Coming back to OCMD next month to spends lots of money. Won t be here.

Played here in late spring 2019. It became my favorite golf course in the Ocean City area. The course conditions were outstanding. You couldn't get a bad lie on the fairways. The greens were pure ,true and consistent. And this comes from a former golf course superentant who is very critical of conditions.

A must

Unprofessional and rude staff. DO NOT let them hold your credit card. Somehow they managed to lose mine. The people working on the beverage carts require you give them your credit card to make a purchase which then hold and return to you at the clubhouse. I called after leaving because I forgot to pick it up and they said it s no longer there. For such an expensive course I m unsure why they wouldn t provide tablets to take payment on the spot. Do not recommend.

One of my favorite places to play golf when at the beach, Rum Pointe Seaside Golf Links has some of the best views while playing a round of golf in Maryland! Two holes are directly bayside - which is awesome! The course is in excellent condition!

Love this golf course. Lots of trouble, but it gives you places to miss. Nice range. Great Club house. Phenomenal Orange Crushes.

If I had a knock on this place, their logo stinks. Clunky. Wanted a shirt to remember the round but couldn t get past the logo.

The course appears very heavily played.. lots of divots on tee boxes / fairways and some large ball marks in the greens (at least when I played). Beverage cart only came around twice, both passes within about 20 minutes of each other. Holes 10, 11, 12 seem to be somewhat permanently cart path only, which really slowed things down. Indoor bar/restaurant was closed by the time we finished (around 5pm). One ball washer was broken / bone dry and another was missing towels. Has some nice views and fun holes, but not a $159 experience.

This course is hard!! Especially with a breeze. But very fun. True links style and in excellent shape. Even for November. Greens fast and true. Pro shop staff helpful and friendly. Mr.s Pete & PB Dye, I will beat your course some day! :)

Beautiful views and course was in great shape but the staff is very sub par. Ranger has to make a comment about parking off cart path when we have a senior with a handicap flag, are you kidding me? To top it off they send a message that we are playing 30 min behind after we waited 20 min at the bar for a drink at the turn because the bar tender was out back taking a break.

Rum Pointe Seaside Golf Links, rated 4-1/2 stars: when it comes to the fine array of golf courses around Ocean City, Rum Pointe tops the list for many local and visiting golfers. Here Pete and P.B. Dye have crafted an open, links-style course that delivers everything you would hope for in a classic Pete Dye design.

Beautiful course! In excellent shape and the views are really something else. The course is also fun and very challenging with many holes where u must avoid water and many sand traps. I had a great golf experience here and would certainly make a point to go back if im ever in the area again.

Rum Pointe is in tip top shape.
Awesome crew, from restaurant, to pro shop and bag drop.
Our group of 24 was highly satisfied.

Played it today, course is in great shape. It s pretty soft out here, which makes the course by the Dye duo play a little fairer. Lots of good holes and nice bayside views. The par 4 s here are dogs, par 3 s and 5 s totally reasonable, making this a pretty fun track. Good vacation course, not much of a practice area for sand and wedges but there is a grass range- which needs some flattening work, that s my only negative takeaway from here. Enjoy!
