Good food but portions are getting smaller and smaller. Fun atmosphere. Big turnover of servers

Good food but portions are getting smaller and smaller. Fun atmosphere. Big turnover of servers
The atmosphere was ok. Mold on the bathroom walls and the food was not amazing
Surprised the heck out of me that it was real. Unbelievable attention to detail.
Excellent food. If you go and sit on the patio Saturday or Sunday, you can enjoy Irish music by Trevor. Guaranteed to have a great time.
Selection of food is not staggering, but there are options for everyone (vegans included). Staff is fast and friendly, food is basically perfect. Try Snake Bite for a unique Guinness experience!
Cozy little Irish pub with good food on Mill. Sat in the bar. Good service friendly bar tender.
The food and atmosphere are amazing. They are also very family friendly.
Our friends took us here for dinner. It was great traditional Irish fare. From the pot pie to the lamb stew to a turkey Reuben everything was delicious. The bar itself is beautiful and has a great story. Stop by, you won t regret it..
Been here a couple times love the place but always takes awhile to get drinks
Not just a bar! Fun music nights, cool decor. Bartenders are fun!
The best fish n chips I've ever had. The staff was fantastic. Manager gave me a tour of some of the history of Rula Bula. This a must when visiting Tempe!!
I travel all over the US for work, this place is quite literally the best Irish pub in the main 48. The Guinness is the best outside of fresh poured Ireland. The fish and chips is supreme, but their other Irish dishes have yet to be beat by anyone else. Drinks are fairly priced and they have an extensive whiskey menu. The staff is always phenomenal. Last wonderful thing, they have weekend brunch
Great place for a beer and some Irish/Celtic music.
The BEAT IRISH PUB. It s true!!! Love this place. Food and service were stellar.
Slow night, servers were nice and pretty attentive, and someone knows how to pull a perfect pint
We accidentally found this place and it was awesome! Highly recommend!
Everything I've had here has been top notch. Fish and chips are super good. They also have my very favorite beer Kilkenny on draft.
Great service, excellent food, wonderful atmosphere. Very satisfied
why do they still use styrofoam for to-go orders. It's terrible for our health. My food tasted horrible and a chemical-ish taste that was not there in the shepherd pie when I ate at the restaurant. Saving a few cents at the cost of the customer's health is terrible. EPA has already found very strong links to cancer, and most restaurants do not use it. I only found out after tasting the chemicals and freaking out.
Great food and great atmosphere. Everything we had was really good. I also had the cider which was delicious.
Outstanding food. My wife had the French onion soup and the mussels. I had the boxty. The service was great as well.
Wow, was here on St Patrick s day 2017. Thought I would take my wife for a nice lunch on St Patrick s day. Was a bit surprised to find we had to pay 5dollars at the door. Thought it might be for entertainment. Upon entering found a very limited menu along with plastic cutlery and drink glasses. No one should have to drink out of a plastic glass. I have been to many places around the world for March 17th. I have never seen such a cheap display of hospitality. Hire an extra dish washer, hire a couple more waiters. Never did see any entertainment for the lunch crowd. St. Pat's is not intended to be a money grab, save your money and next time go to Rosie's.
A Tempe institution! Irish dancing, super friendly people, nothing pre-canned or plastic-y about it (as opposed to much of downtown Tempe): what a pub should be!
It's for those people who don't want the noise that accompanies the party...or the crowd, for that matter. It's small, homely and peaceful. A good bar date would be right here. The bartenders are good people and the guinness here is the best in Tempe.
Can't go wrong with Guinness, fish and chips. The standard is the Irish embassy in Durango, Colorado.
Exceeded our expectations in quality and variety of food. Service is exceptional.
Never heard something more crazy than this...card was overcharged and when called to ask why , the answer " we overcharge card to make sure there is enough money for 18% tips " and to be honest, waiting 10 min for a pint at the bar when there is only you and 5-6 more people around won't really make you so generous. Guinness was good, food not at all
For any iron druid fans... the fish and chips was amazing
One of the best Irish pubs I have been to anywhere (except for Ireland lol) their Potatos are awesome!! Beer great too!
Great food, great service. We especially enjoyed the happy hour appetizers. Yummy potato balls
One of my favorite Irish restaurants. The food is excellent. I never liked brussel sprouts until I came here. They are an amazing side here! Knowledgeable and attentive bar tenders.
Second time eating here and this place is worth every penny.
Food was amazing! There was six of us that walked in we ordered each something different so we could share and everything was unanimously liked. The waitress was very kind and served very well. She also was willing to take a picture of all us as we wanted to remember that evening.
This place has certainly gone way downhill. We were greeted by an eye rolling (literally) young woman. We waited briefly for a table, but then sat at that table for at least 15 minutes before being greeted by a server who wasn't even supposed to be ours. Tyler, our server, was outstanding. Otherwise, this whole lunch experience was awful. We waited 45 minutes for food when finally we asked to speak to a manager. The manager, Kevin, came over, finally, with our food. We expressed our frustration with the eye rolling and the 45 minute wait for food. He blamed the new hostess saying, "She flooded the restaurant with tables." And, " She doesn't know how to deal with stress." Next he offered us a free round or dessert. We declined as our one beer lunch can had amorphed into a 2 beer lunch already because of the wait. Kevin was sarcastic and condescending, and I almost died when he blamed the 19 or 20 year old hostess for all of the problems. When Kevin left our table, after not apologizing, we began eating and then realized our food was ice cold. I sent back the potato skins I ordered and asked Tyler to nuke my soup. When we received the bill, we were quite shocked to see nothing beside the skins I had sent back wad removed from our bill. We paid our bill and way overtipped Tyler because he was great. At the end of our lunch, a random server had the audacity to come over to our table and sarcastically say, " You ladies should come on A Monday. It's a lot less busy." As if complaining about waiting for 45 minutes is okay in any situation. This place is a mess and we will lot be returning. Terrible.
Excellent fish and chips, particularly the chips. The cherries they use in their drinks are incredible. Also some of the friendliest service I've had, while not hovering over us. We plan to return whenever we're in town.
Great comfort food and the best Guinness you'll get this side of the pond.
I've yet to have a dish here that wasn't satisfying if not outright amazing.
And they make their own Irish cream liqueur
Normally this place is awesome. Tonight was awful!!!! They had a band outside, they couldn't carry it tune. Usually if it is close to the song I'm good but ...... it was bad. We asked and it turns out the band is friends with the boss. Please invite them to your home instead of making your customers suffer.
Then to add to this we ordered drinks and after 10 minutes I began to wonder where our drinks were. The place had 3 tables in use with 2 bartenders however both were more concerned with flirting with the 3 cute girls at the bar. Since they are usually awesome we will return but if that kind of thing happens again I won't be back.
Potatoes are nice, went with friends, everyone liked potatoes.
Have been going here for over 20 years. One of my all time favs. :) Good place to eat and drink. Try the bread pudding!
The garlic chicken in mushroom cream sauce was excellent as well as the fish and chips. Atmosphere is very nice as well. A nice Irish pub.
Solid pub with well cooked food. They had the traditional Irish drinks but the food was pretty generic. Had an Irishman with me to confirm my thoughts. Overall, can't complain about outside of the $9 for well whiskey
Beautiful place right by the light rail. Authentic and amazingly good Irish food, good beer and drinks too.
Great beer and Bourbon selections. Super pleased to find Blanton's! Fun atmosphere for drinks and snacks.
Live music was very fun. Their cocktails are some of the best that I have ever had.
Great pub/restaurant. Patio has shady corners even in noon sun in spring. If only Skyharbor was farther away - jets!
Great atmosphere and really good food. Try to sit outside if you go at night, its pretty cool.
So tasty. I love the fish and chips for lunch or dinner and the big breakfast for breakfast (or brunch). The staff is always friendly and helpful, and there idea even occasionally live music to listen to.
Really good food. Comfort food! Tastes like home made lamb stew, corned beef and cabbage....very satisfying.
This pub is amazing! Food is awesome! Atmosphere is very laid back! The servers know their stuff and what's in the food which is extremely good considering I have a food allergy and they were able to steer me in the direction I needed to go to ensure I ordered something that wouldn't affect my allergies. Thank you!
This is our go to place for what we call Whiskey Wednesday . Me and my colleagues often go here as it has that Irish vibe and serves the best Guinness in town. They also offer a small selection of cigars which makes this place our preferred choice. It s very conveniently located and the food tastes great. My all time favorite Irish chips with curry
The food wasn't great and the service was blah! Everything we asked for they were out of.
The food here is always great, The service is friendly and prompt. the only complaint however is not their fault in as much as the parking system in the Downtown Mill area is abysmal and kludgy.
Good food and service. Don't much care for the smoking allowed outside on the patio as food is being served there.
Great Irish pub with awesome food and atmosphere, the fish and chips are a must try here, a lot of parking available out back.
This is a great place if you want traditional Irish type food. The pints of Guinness are poured properly and the overall atmosphere is always pleasant. It does get quite packed but if you can find a seat at the bar it's well worth it for a pint and a laugh with friends.
Great staff, incredible menu, and inviting ambiance.
Some of the best mac n cheese i ever had and definitely the best fried chicken and for sure without a doubt the best freakin beer ever KILKINNY BEER FOREVER
