Still love Rubio's but I think it has lost some of its mojo to the years

This location has always been the Rubio's "Kitchen" and so has the more creative dishes offered by Rubio's. Also, you can request a "custom" dish that is not on the main menu and they will cook it up for you!! Love it!!

This is one of the best operated rubio's in all of San Diego County. The manager here really knows what he is doing, keeps the place very clean, and the food is very good and consistent . Thank you for the awesome food and hard work you all do!

Shrimp Trio with salsa verse sauce plus grilled chicken burrito was delicious for us.

Clean, pleasant and delicious. Little pricey, and seems to have gotten a little less for the money but still good.

Considering I worked here for 2 years I still return because of how fresh and healthy the food is. Not to mention delicious across-the-board!

Manager is super cool. Great test kitchen. One less star because the steak burritos come with a little less meat then years past.

seafood and the feeling at this place is super good. Honestly my favorite evening place. The service was very welcoming and sociable. Mood here reminds me of San Diego's scene.

Great place to eat. I highly recommend Rubio's there food is awsome. Its different from anything that me and my family have ever ate.
I got a all vegetable bowl and it was delicious.

I reccomend getting your receipt when they ask you if you want your receipt because they give you coupons with your receipt a two dollars off any entree and free chips and guacamoley on your next purchase. Them are good coupons.

Rubio's is our fave local lunch spot for healthy salads & seafood!!

Very nice place to grab a quick meal. Not fancy, but it's a great lunch spot.

They just have the yummiest food here and the best deals! Taco Tuesdays very cheap tacos, so good!

Why go to a place like this when you're so close to the border?

Great remodel. Love the food and the service. Only criticism is on call-in orders as it doesn't seem to actually speed anything up. I usually have to wait for the food when I get there regardless. A small price to pay, I suppose.

Loved the food! Super cute place but small and the wait was fairly long (a little over an hour). We were sooo hungry by the time we sat down but I don't think this is why I loved the food so much. Carne asada tacos were a must order, and so was the mexican sashimi..

seafood and the atmosphere at this location is great. Very savory. Makes me feel like I in Nashville again.

Can you put some meat in your burritos? Its mostly rice

Not getting your Togo order right after having long conversation about it, not getting what you pay for feels bad. The food quality is great, value is great, clean, just seriously lacks attention to detail and follow through. Both are vital in hospitality/f&b kind of businesses

A preferred place for tasty Seafood. Service is consistently good. It has a nice interior.

GREAT Southwest CaliMex Foods, Baja & blackened fish recipes, fried fish, great salads, a few big tables that seat 6-8 for 45 min work lunches w/customers.

My opinion -- this is the best of the chain fast food places. Well managed, clean, fast, very good food for what you are paying. Plenty of choices. But I'm still pissed at them closing their Hemet store.

I simply love the food it's amazing and I don't feel guilty cheating on a diet here.

One of my preferred locations for delicious Seafood. Really nothing but good experiences here. This place has a cool feel to it.

Rubio's has consistently great food, and always hits the spot. This location is also a test kitchen for new menu items, so there's usually something fun and new to try that isn't available at other Rubio's locations. Enjoy!

TL;DR- Better than average Rubio's, comfortable seating.

Overview: For a fast casual place, this is pretty good. Nothing particularly special but I'm a fan of Rubio's in general and this is an especially good one. This isn't a typical 5-star place (as in the best food I've ever had) but it's definitely good for what it is.
The seating is comfortable, it's never a bad temperature, and parking is usually pretty plentiful.
Try the aqua frescas, they're all really tasty. This is me as someone who usually doesn't like any drinks other than water.

I was visiting family from London UK, went to have lunch at Rubio's and OMG the food is outstanding specially the sauces are so refreshing. Wish they had come to London instead of Taco bell .

Fresh food always, just a bit more rice loaded in the burritos than I care for. More shrimp please!

Really clean and nice place with great hospitality.

I come here more often then I'd like to admit. They have delicious Baja food. If you are a first timer, I'd recommend the original fish tacos. They are definitely a fan favorite. However, I typically opt for the salsa verde shrimp tacos or the California bowl with mahi mahi. Yum!

Good place for Seafood. I love this place, great food & service. Service is consistently great. This place has a great atmosphere.

Man was this delicious there are lots of items to choose from but I got a little overwhelmed. I ordered the lobster burrito WHOOO WAS IT GOOD DAWG 10/10 get a mango lime drink and your set.
