Erin gave a great Stress-Fix Massage and I felt relaxed as soon as I left! She gathered a lot of information before the massage and worked on the areas of tension. The lavender, lavandin and clary sage aroma felt amazing. Definitely recommend her!

My hair looks phenomenal EVERY time I leave here thanks to Erica. A massage with Erin is FANTASTIC, and in my opinion one of the best places in Rochester to get a massage. Everyone is personable and welcoming, there's always coffee, tea, flavored water and other treats available. It's relaxing, smells GREAT and is an all around enjoyable experience every time I go.

My daughter and I had a wonderful time getting Pedicures together at R Salon. Angelina was very nice and took her time to give us a wonderful relaxing experience. The salon was very clean and they took precautions to make sure we were safe. Scott, the owner is hands on and makes sure his staff is friendly and professional. I've always enjoyed my visits to R Salon and would highly recommend it.

I have been going to rSalon to get my hair cut with Sarah for just over 3 years, and I get the BEST cut, every time. Yesterday, I had a facial for the first time, ever, and can't wait to go back! Maria took the time to listen to me and ask questions about my skin and the concerns I had. It was an amazing experience. Highly recommend it!

Had my first facial with Erin yesterday. She customizes the scents and the products to you & your skin type perfectly-- really listens to you. Plus, the foot massage and hand massage were so relaxing.

I found rsalon this summer, looking for a salon for a pedicure. Called that day, had a appointment that night, great pedicure with Jessica. I now get my hair cut and colored with Deanna, she is also excellent. Being a Aveda Salon is wonderful, I was already using their products!

As I am sure most are, I was very hesitant to make an appointment for the first time. I have thick wavy hair that has a mind of it's own. I was scheduled with Erica and was very pleased with the services I received. The salon and spa is very professional and everyone I encountered made me feel very welcomed. I have made another appointment and am excited to see what the future holds.

I've been going to rSalon for years: it is a warm, friendly place with kind people and great service, but the reason I chose it from among other Aveda salons in the area boils down to the one phenomenal stylist I followed there: Erica Morgan. She unites mastery and talent with poise and integrity.

I had my first appt yesterday with Jena and love my haircut! She did a great job, the salon staff is great and I got a fabulous hand scrub and massage too. I'll definitely go back.

I received a pedicure yesterday 9/18/18 by Yasmin Rossy and she did a fantastic job! She is very friendly , informative, and very professional . My nails looked fabulous, and my feet felt great when I walked out of the salon . I was extremely happy with the service I received and I highly recommend her to everyone !

The space is beautiful, and the service provided by Maureen was just amazing! I told her what I wanted and she nailed it. I love my hair and I m looking forward to coming in for a cut and color in just a few weeks.

I will say I d never heard of nor seen r salon + spa until I visited Groupon and saw a deal. Not knowing what to expect I show up early and was greeted by an amazing front desk staff. They ushered me upstairs to the spa where I met Noah. He was extremely professional and knowledgeable about the area of massage therapy. He did a fantastic job so much so that I knew I needed to book my next session ASAP. I would HIGHLY recommend this spa to any and everyone I know.

Love the decor and environment in the salon! The front desk girls are friendly and very helpful. It was my first time meeting and getting color from Maureen. She is helping me fix what was a disaster going on with my hair- a combination of old professional highlights, then box dye, then roots. She was very friendly, professional, knowledgeable and accommodating. I am going back to see her in March, and of course for all of my future appointments! My hair looks so much better and I look forward to working with her. Thank you to the whole staff for being friendly and helpful!

Outstanding gel manicure and gel pedicure by Ashley. She is friendly and efficient, and the polish job was very durable and lasted 4 weeks. The salon has a delightful ambiance and is very comfortable and the massage chairs are amazing!

Scott and his staff make you feel very comfortable and going above and beyond of following all the new guidelines due to COVID-19. I went for my first haircut in 6 years and had a great experience! Maureen did an awesome job and made the whole process very enjoyable. I felt very pampered with the scalp massage, hot towel, and hand massage that s included in with the cut and the little gift bag at the end was a lovely touch! I definitely recommend!

1st time. I kind of thought it was a nice cut, but it really was not. My next cuts where I live and then in London were much better but not more expensive. I might try it 1 more time but with a different stylist. I can say I just got my haircut in 2/19 at Scott Miller, because this place is not open on Monday. The Scott Miller cut was only slightly better, but it cost me $90! Scott Miller's salon was not worth the price. I add that opinion here to be fair to rSalon. RSalon is posh and quite comprehensive. The owner is friendly and fun. They have a nice selection of Aveda products.

Seriously overpriced but they do great nails. My toes stayed nice throughout my honeymoon. My nails fell apart but my nails r thin and my hands were always in the ocean, pools and hot tubs. The hair was ok but my hair is pretty hard to work with. She kind of ignored what i wanted. I kept telling her but she just "mmmhmmed" me and did her own thing. Its really really overpriced thou and they only sell Aveda products which they mark up HUGELY! Here's a tip... if u go to Avedas online store you can get the same products for like HALF the price. So if u like one of their sample products go online and get it from the source instead of buying it from rSalon ridiculously marked up.

rSalon is the best salon and spa in Rochester! I wouldn't go anywhere else! Erica has been cutting my hair for the past 4 years and is so passionate about what she does. Jessica is an amazing nail technician. She is super friendly and does an amazing gel french by hand that has lasted me 3-4 weeks the last 2 times I've had it done! I have had A LOT of massages in Rochester by A LOT of different massage therapists and no one compares to Erin at rSalon!!! I would recommend her to anyone who is having any back, shoulder, leg or foot pain etc. She is a miracle worker!! Everyone working at the front desk is always really friendly! Great place all around!

I have been going to R Salon since the week they moved across the street to their current location (on the recommendation of FOUR different friends who said I would love the place). They were right -- I have been entirely happy with each of my three or four experiences there. Sarah is a superb stylist and knows intuitively what works best for you. The salon is beautiful, clean, quiet, and relaxing. The staff is very professional. I highly recommend it.

Wonderful, welcoming, and accommodating environment! They take customer service to the next level! Hair wash and hand massage were a very nice, and unexpected service when I thought so was only getting a trim! I am so pleased with my haircut! Just all-around great place!

I received a gift certificate for a facial for Mothers day and for a variety of reasons I was skeptical about using it . But boy am I glad I did! From the moment I walked in the door till the moment I walked out I felt like I was special.
I cannot say enough about Maria the esthetician. She was very friendly and inviting from the moment I was introduced to her. She really cared about how I felt and about my experience. During the facial I was so relaxed that I had to fight from falling asleep. After the facial Maria helped me to find skin care that would help my skin and the issues I was having. Maria was extremely knowledgeable about the product but not pushy.

After Maria was done helping me I checked out at the front desk, again Lorrianne was very friendly and accommodating.
To anyone looking to pamper themselves and get some healthy advice will do well visiting RSalon. You will not be disappointed!

Had a facial with Rachel and it was amazing!! I've had many facials before and have never felt so pampered and relaxed. The aveda products felt like heaven on my acne-riddled skin. Fantastic experience and results. I will definitely be back!

MASSAGE ONLY review. The woman who does the massages at rSalon is the best I've found in the Rochester area. She listens, knows what she's doing and truly loves what she does...so she stays on top of what's new in her industry and how to provide the best service. If I didn't live so far, I'd book with her monthly!

R salon has incredible customer service. The staff are really trying to give you the best experience they can. You even get a free hand massage with a blowout. Also the products they use are designed to be healthy for you, and the environment; and they use American made products. If you aren't sure about buying a product, most products have free testers you can try while you are waiting for your appointment.

Jena was awesome and gave me a great cut when I had no idea what I was really looking for, other than a change. I left feeling like a new person!

I had a manicure with Ashley and it is lovely. She was charming and engaging and my nails look beautiful. The new shop is bright and clean and welcoming. I had the chance to talk with the other manicurist and a hairdresser and they were outgoing and friendly. Kudos!

Very nice inside, friendly and experienced service and it's never very busy. Don't come late to your appointment though because then they won't take you.

Jessieka started the experience off right with an Aveda pedi/mani, then I was off to Maureen who took the time to give me some great tips on hair care and future reccomendations while she cut and styled my hair, which by the way I like a lot!. Maria ended my experience with a great waxing, she also took the time to explain skin care products that would enhance my skin. Great experience all around. I can't wait for my next visit.

I've been a rSalon customer for....years! The salon has transformed over the years under the creative direction of it's owner, Scott BUT the one constant is the stylists' talent! Jena, Sarah, Deanna, Scott - they've all done my hair over the years and they're all amazing! They share the same philosophy - customer 1st. When I leave the salon, I feel beautiful and relaxed! The complimentary hand massage while my hair soaks up the Aveda love is that special extra that makes the whole experience. Yesterday I had the privilege of working with Jessica on my highlight and cut! She's rSalons newest talent but you'd never know it, she's just as talented as the seasoned stylists and color technicians at rSalon. I can't wait until they open their new salon across the street - I'm sure Scott's thought of EVERYTHING!

My deep tissue massage with Noah was impeccable - highly professional....perfect in every way! The salon and all staff were delightful. I truly felt 100% welcomed and comfortable. It was my very first massage - and due to my excellent experience I booked 3 more massages!!

This place was AMAZING.

I'm deaf, and I came in of course worrying that I would be treated a little bit differently. I was instantly greeted by a gentleman behind the counter. I told him I was deaf, he smiled and was fine with that. He worked with me to communicate and asked me if I wanted anything to drink. I asked for water. I was seated right away in the waiting room. The salon was very welcoming, I liked their natural feel for the decor. The smell was amazing! The gentleman brought me water, I took a sip expecting it to be just regular cooled water. No...it was actually CUCUMBER water...and was DELICIOUS. Nice surprise there!

My hairstylist Erica came and she was very friendly and polite. I had already wrote a note explaining to her how my hair was fried, very thin, and hard to take care of. I expressed that I was very self conscious about my hair and just wanted to feel good. She assured me everything would be ok, and I had already printed out photo examples. Asked her to help me decide on what would shape my face and make my face look slender since it's very round. Picked one, decided on it.

I was surprised with oil head massage!!!! It smelled so good!!! Then she massaged my neck and my shoulders. That was sooooooooo nice!!!! Very unexpected, but I loved it. Got my hair washed, also had hot towel on my forehead then massaged into my scalp. I must add, the chair had back massager built into it! Went back to the chair to get it cut. I never felt so relaxed as I did. I always had bad experience with other hair salons. But with way things were going, I was starting to put my trust in Erica.

I let her do her thing, she knew what she was doing. I loved the stuff she was putting in my hair. Aveda was the hair product's name I believe. Again, I must add, the smell was just so amazing. I loved smelling it, I wish I had a fragrance spray at home that smelled just like it!

My hair turned out AMAZING. I felt my age, it was well layered...short in the back long in the front. It was definitely a huge change from going LONG hair to short. Best of all, it looked so healthy!!!! I loved this place, the experience, the staff, and best of all Erica! She has definitely gained a happy customer who will come back again for her!!!

Time here is always very relaxing and the staff is professional and approachable and they seem to get along very well, which makes for a very inviting and calm atmosphere. I started going to Sarah S. in April 2014, and the only reason I stopped earlier this year was because I quit my job. I LOVE this salon. Sarah is the only stylist I have ever had do exactly what I asked for with my hair. The waiting area is pleasant and smells amazing, and the whole experience is relaxing and fun. They were very accommodating of my unpredictable schedule, and I look forward to being able to return. I recommend them to everyone I talk to who is looking for a stylist.

We followed Kyle from another salon a few years ago and what a difference! EVERYONE in this salon is eager to make sure you're satisfied with your experience. They call you by name every time and always do little things to make your visit more enjoyable. My kids have their hair cut at RSalon as well and I love how we look when we come out of the salon AND that we can reproduce they styles at home! Kyle and Sara do an excellent job and I would recommend their services to anyone who asked.

This salon is a virtual vacation--Kyle is excellent. He did my haircut--great as always--and then colored and cut my neice's hair--it is fantastic. What a talent! The whole salon is so friendly and eager to help. I love my appointments there as a real pick-me-up during busy weeks. rSalon is a treasure!

I have been going to rSalon for years!!! It is a bit of a drive from my house but worth it. Every time I'm there the staff goes above and beyond for their clients. All the staff is extremely friendly, helpful, and everyone knows your name. They continue to provide the best spa experience and they have special little touches that make it an even more relaxing experience.
