This place was AMAZING.

I'm deaf, and I came in of course worrying that I would be treated a little bit differently. I was instantly greeted by a gentleman behind the counter. I told him I was deaf, he smiled and was fine with that. He worked with me to communicate and asked me if I wanted anything to drink. I asked for water. I was seated right away in the waiting room. The salon was very welcoming, I liked their natural feel for the decor. The smell was amazing! The gentleman brought me water, I took a sip expecting it to be just regular cooled water. No...it was actually CUCUMBER water...and was DELICIOUS. Nice surprise there!

My hairstylist Erica came and she was very friendly and polite. I had already wrote a note explaining to her how my hair was fried, very thin, and hard to take care of. I expressed that I was very self conscious about my hair and just wanted to feel good. She assured me everything would be ok, and I had already printed out photo examples. Asked her to help me decide on what would shape my face and make my face look slender since it's very round. Picked one, decided on it.

I was surprised with oil head massage!!!! It smelled so good!!! Then she massaged my neck and my shoulders. That was sooooooooo nice!!!! Very unexpected, but I loved it. Got my hair washed, also had hot towel on my forehead then massaged into my scalp. I must add, the chair had back massager built into it! Went back to the chair to get it cut. I never felt so relaxed as I did. I always had bad experience with other hair salons. But with way things were going, I was starting to put my trust in Erica.

I let her do her thing, she knew what she was doing. I loved the stuff she was putting in my hair. Aveda was the hair product's name I believe. Again, I must add, the smell was just so amazing. I loved smelling it, I wish I had a fragrance spray at home that smelled just like it!

My hair turned out AMAZING. I felt my age, it was well layered...short in the back long in the front. It was definitely a huge change from going LONG hair to short. Best of all, it looked so healthy!!!! I loved this place, the experience, the staff, and best of all Erica! She has definitely gained a happy customer who will come back again for her!!!
