Rossendale Borough Council Review

Posting dates for the remembrance day parayed from 2017 for this year?????

I need help this cherch in bcupB is playipl loud music and never stops and it been playing for at least hours and since evening you need to sort it out it's it ur job

So many people at the council start work around 7am yet the phone lines do not open till 8:45am, this is a complete joke as those that start early finish early making it really hard to catch these guys.

The reporting system for roads is a disgrace and there is no ownership.

Council Tax

Needed to amend my council tax bill to single occupancy. Staff were very polite and helpful and call was answered quickly.

Don't respond , don't do there job, no wonder they are one of the worst in the country. Sugarman should be sacked for poor performance, not paid .

I am deeply saddened about my cat going missing. So i rang up my local council to see if anyone had handed him in. I rang three times in total and no one was available to answer the phone. Which resorted to me emailing them a picture of him and a short little paragraph saying that i just want to know if he had been handed in in the last few days of it anyone had run him over or something. I hate emailing at the best of times. So after emailing them to see if anyone had handed my cat in or has seen him. They asked me if he was microchipped and it turns out that animals have to be microchipped for them to be reported? So i still have no clue weather my cat is alive or dead, because Rossendale council wouldn't give me any information apart from useless information.

Terrible service.still waiting for someone in planning to get back to me on a simple question I asked 2 weeks ago.left numerous messages and still no ring back.

Always happy to help when I have contacted them over the phone and very responsive to emails.

Very poor opinion of RBC.
Lost my job due to redundancy between Jun & Aug 2019. A 3rd party made our payments, RBC alerted, alerted that I would be making own payments from Sept via SO, all was well till they 'lost' my Nov payment and therefore sent a summons !!!!! Phonecall made and told me they do not lose money !!!! Sent them proof BUT no word of apology even though they emailed back to say money found.
Yet the summons and fees have not been removed.
Dec payment sent and received. DD now set up as my monthly wage now meets their date criteria, and yet, no removal of summons or fees, not one single apology.
Have emailed our councillor Jake Berry
Dont know what will happen from here, but I dont feel RBC really cares because they are getting their money.

After being let down by a member of staff, Sharron Noble resolved my issue quickly and with care, communication was great

They are very slow at responding letters,emails etc. will not pick up phone they need to improve their service.

Rossendale Borough Council - your phone system is a DISGRACE!! - Sort it out...

Took a year to respond to a subject access request and there are still pieces missing

Binmen repeatedly cant be arsed walking 5 steps from the alley into gordon street to collect recycling. Repeated, formal complaints change nothing. Terrible, shameful council have caused physical injury due to their neglect. Nothing is ever done. No stars.

Very helpful and friendly staff. Helped me immensely at a time of crisis and followed through every step of the way. The employees deserve an award for their hard and dedicated work.

The council are very quick to impose a substantial levy when a property has been empty long term,even if the property is up for sale. But when a council tax rebate is due, the staff hide behind their " procedures". In other words, you can wait for what they owe you. They'll refund you in their own good time.

Absolute farce, Ive sent council tax to the council and they are still sending me bills, I try to call and they NEVER answer, but they keep you holding and then cut you off, bunch of lazy councilors
