Idk looks like slice factory but with more stuff, just didn't want to wait in bread line, like 8 people at least out the door.
Just sat in there 20 mins and wasn't even offered a cup of water!!
Absolutely the worst experience of ordering a delivered pizza in my life Pizza arrived 2 1/2 hours late didn t have the correct phone number the people who work there are not very bright
Over priced and the worst deep dish I ever had. Never going back
Worst experience and service ever! The food might have been good if it was not ice cold. While their online menu appears to give you the option to choose the time you want your order delivered but they don't seem to know how to anticipate traffic. Our order was delivered 35 minutes late. My order was to be delivered at 5:45 and when I called to see if the driver left, I was told he left 20 minutes ago. So it seems that they thought he could make it to our location in 10 minutes and then the person I spoke to tried to blame traffic. Aside from that, the staff is clueless. They have no idea what their online menu even says or how it works. The best part was that I called to speak to a manager, whom apparently only works nights. Lack of supervision in the staff explains a lot. I then asked for the General Managers number and was told that they cant give it to me because they don't even know it. Not five minutes after that, someone called me back claiming to be the manager, even though I was told they would not be there until 5:30, and instead of listening to my complaints or having any type of sympathy, he thought I needed a lecture in how Chicago traffic works. I order food for a group of people 2x a month and we were looking for a new venue. I guess we have not found it yet. Stay away from Rosati's. These folks are rude and clueless. Nothing worse then making someone feel like you are doing them a favor by ordering from them.
I feel that $5 for a pizza slice is too much. Also wait times for food other than pizza are annoying. But overall the food tastes good.
I ordered a salad yesterday which was very good. Thank you Eric for being helpful and making one of the best salads I had from Rosati s!
I ordered 2 slices about a week and a half ago. Instantly called back and was asked if they wanted me to come remake it then it or if it was for another timE. Called in Idaho after giving all my info I would like to collect. W sliced cheese pizzas but a deep dish fully loaded pizza lol. And she hung up on me. Then a guy answered and did the same
They always have slices ready to go. They stay open late, and for the price of $5 you get a very big slice and a pop. No complaints.
The best authentic Chicago bar none. Travel all across America and it will be next to impossible to find a better made pizza. Service and the prices are awesome. Dont miss this historic pizzeria located in the Chicago Loop.
The quality of this food was some of the nastiest food I've ever encountered. The price I paid for everything was outrageous for how nasty the food was. The only good thing this place has is customer service. I would not recommend eating here if you visit chicago
This pizza is delicious I love the sausage that was perfectly seasoned
And the pepperoni that had a just right amount of spicy kick to it
These guys are always super fun to hang out with and eat pizza. Relatively cheap for a big slice of pepperoni. More expensive for specialty pizza. A good in-and-out experience if you need a quick bite.
Slices ready, nice people, Good food, and clean eating area.
My first time trying Rosati s Pizza & it was highly filling :) great slice portions & costumer service with Kimberly was very welcoming definitely coming again with some friends next time you guys are a Great team!
Rosati s on Halsted was a great experience. Cozy joint and Kimberly was super nice and well-informed about the menu!
HANDS DOWN SOME OF THE BEST FOOD IN CHICAGO AND WHAT MAKES IT EVEN BETTER IS THE SERVICE IS AMAZING AS WELL KATRINA IS AMAZING TAKINGS ORDERS AND HELPING THE GUEST EVERYONE THERE IS AMAZING THATS WHY I GO BACK CHECK IT OUT EVERYONE.
VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. I RECIVED MY FOOD 4 HOURS LATE. I CALLED TWO TIMES TO CHECK ON MY FOOD, AND FEMALE STAFF MEMBER HUNG UP THE PHONE ON ME. the second time I called a male staff member answered and he laughed at me and told to cancel my order on wait another 5 to 10minutes until my food arrived, and then hung up. ONCE I RECIVED MY FOOD IT WAS COLD AND DRYED OUT. I ordered a 10inch deep sausage pizza and 12 boneless wings.
I will not recommend this food establishment to any .
Peace.
Everything sucked about it. 7/11 has better pizza.
I'd give them zero stars if i could. Don't expect them to fix their mistakes when they mess up your order.
I visited Rosati s in University Village and TJ, the manager was very helpful and knowledgeable about his product. We clicked because we are both vegetarians, and the cheese pizza (by the slice) was hot, fresh and delicious. One slice is very filling. The store was very clean and the staff was very helpful and accommodating. Five stars for sure! Thanks TJ!
I love the food but it seems like they are always in the back. I've have to knock on the door where employees enter the kitchen multiple times.
Pizza is good, but the service is really, really not. I waited two hours for a pizza that was estimated to deliver in 50 minutes. When I called, I was told it had been out for delivery, and they didn t know why, but the driver was being contacted. Called again 40 minutes later, and was told it is out for delivery, would be 10 more minutes and was hung up on. When it got here, its cold. It s not worth your money.
Unbelievable bad service. Called 12:45am. No delivery till 2:30am and been told driver still on the way. Dont know how these people run business. Very disappointed first night in Chicago. And got to complain to Fairmont Hotel for recommend such bad service. Never again.
Ordered dinner for the entire family and completely got the wrong order delivered to me. Ordered 5 different sandwiches only received 2. They sent me 4 slices of pizza I didnt ask for. The delivery took over an hour, the driver kept lying saying he was in front but wasnt because he then asked me what apartment when i live in a house. Then he continued to yell that he was lost it was a confusing route and i shouldn't be getting anything delivered to my address. Finally when I called back to complain about my missing items they continued to answer and hang up on me with out even saying hello. All in all it was the worst service and I'm never ordering from there again.
I stopped here when I saw the advertisement on the door saying they have slices available. I had to do the slice of the day it was kind of pricey but it was delicious. The lady there was very helpful.
The food completely caught me off guard! I went in to order one slice of pizza. While waiting I read the menu and noticed by the Italian beef that it read, thinly sliced beef. So I ordered it just the same as I do when I order a beef from anywhere. Let me tell you, if I wasn't weight conscious, I would eat a beef from there everyday. I talked about it to my family so much that they are asking me when will I visit again. I will say, the second visit, the sliced pizza was cold; but the beef was still delicious. Thumbs Up on the beef!
Service is terrible. Ordered an Italian beef combo, pop and salad, got only the salad and two pieces of empty bread. Oh and the driver also got lost and handed me a bottle of water instead of my pop
Baacially spent 30 bucks on a sald. Don't order from here.
Ordered a pizza and 2.5 hours later it still wasn't there. Called multiple times and was hung up on. You'd have better luck with a Tombstone.
Real nice crust on their pizza. Great lunch special
I was not impressed with the thin crust pizza because it just did not measure up to my expectations of a Southside Rosati's pizza. If I order again (highly doubtful) I'll make sure to add tomato sauce. I ordered a small pizza and paid nearly $30 bucks which is not cool at all for such a taste disappointment. Driver called me and left a manic message saying he was on his way and to answer the phone, also not cool....check-in at the front desk sir, they were notified of your arrival.
Good pizza and drinks. Something a little different done to your Chicago style pizza
Be careful going in there, food is ok, but customer service sucks, pick up from there and was a customer. I don't like having food tossed at me. Delivery drivers are future customers, companies.
The pizza arrived late & cold but also flipped and smushed
Thin crust was very delicious. Better than Pizza Nova. The prices are fair.
I called at 7p to order a pizza to be delivered to the UPS building that is literally 2 blocks away from the establishment. I understand it can get confusing when delivering to these large buildings. The driver was not patient and would hang up on me when I insisted we stay on the phone to find each other. He was swearing on the phone in frustration. There was no need for the rude way he handled this transaction. Eventually called and told me to call the shop because he was unable to deliver my pizza. It was for my employees. So I was pressed about not getting it on time . That driver needs to learn some manners or be a better person overall.
We ordered pizza from this location for delivery last night. It took over 90 minutes to get our pizza. When we ordered, we were told it would be 45-60 minutes. We called at about 75 minutes and then again at 85 minutes and were treated rather rudely, in fact the last time I called, the employee hung up on me. When the driver finally arrived with our pizza we were charged with a delivery charge, which should have been free because we had a coupon. The pizza and appetizer were warm, but tasted like they were left in the warmer forever overcooked and not worth the price paid. I wish I would have not accepted it. No one offered an apology or even a discount. Save your time and your money, just get something somewhere else.
They took over an hour to bring the food.
We specifically ask for plates and napkins, but food came without it, the came back to bring it.
Chicken taste and feels like frozen chicken, didn t fell like fresh chicken breast $15.99 Alfredo pasta ? Come on ! Sorry, very disappointed. Very good the pasta with meat sauce.
If I could give no stars I would. Ordered from Rosati's last night for dinner through grubhub. The updated delivery time (which I'm almost positive comes from the employees at the restaurant) said that the food would be delivered between 6:50-7pm. 7:10pm rolled around and no food, so I called the restaurant and was told it was en route and to give the driver another 5-10 minutes. 7:30 comes and I call again and am told that the food is not late, and that traffic is bad, and it takes time to make and deliver the food. No apology, just excuses. The guy called the driver who said he was 7 minutes away. Ten minutes later the driver calls and said that he is 4 minutes away. Finally, at 7:43pm the driver arrived with our food. He was the only one who offered an apology at all. The pizza was cold and my fiance's was made wrong. I don't know anyone who would want to spend close to $100 on cold, wrong, late food. I won't be ordering from them ever again.
The food was really good as usual but the staff was super friendly! Great place for students
Pizza is good, service is okay, parking can be difficult, and a good late night option for pizza!
Do not order from Rosatlis Pizza... terrible service.... the food came a day later and the order was still!!!!! Screwed up!!!!. Do not order from here if you are in downtown Chicago!!!
tried Rosati's for the first time after seeing Chef Judson Allen do a cooking demo on this flatbread pizza at the Taste of Chicago. They gave out a $3 coupon, so I figured I would give it a try. The flatbread is a healthy take on pizza and it is quite tasty w/lots of vegetables - they also top the pizza with arugula, which makes it feel like more of an upscale flatbread, and a nice change from a traditional pizza. The sauce has a spicy kick to it, because they use the chef's hot sauce as a part of the sauce. It's not too hot - just enough of a kick to add more flavor. After eating a few slices, I realized that it didn't have any meat on it, but I wasn't missing the meat at all - I was full after practically inhaling half the pizza! Definitely a must-try...
I really have found a joy at this restaurant, great food and service at least i thought. I called in an order on 4-7-17 one cheese on sausage and fries. I asked for the slices to be cut into triangles. They said ok. When I got my pizza it was cut into squares whe I asked the cashier she was like oh I forgot. I asked for the manager he came out with an attitude I asked him for what I wanted or if I can have my money back. He remade the pizza so that's an extra 30 mins I had to wait when it was they fault. I will never spend money here again because of poor attitudes and poor customer service. Rosatis at 1339 S. Halsted is terrible.
Needs work pizza definitely not cheesy enough and I love Rosati's pizza but not this location.
From super beef sandwich to delicious pasta... can't go wrong.
Our pizza was an 45 minutes and the driver gave us the wrong food. When we called him back, he asked us if we had a stapler to stable to food bags back together. Which, during a quarentine, I found completely unreasonable and unsafe. Then we had to wait another 20 minutes for them to come back to give us our correct food.
Never ordering from Rosati's again.
TJ & Javier are the best basically the whole team at Rosati s are accommodating & customer service is excellent... food is great too. Go get your food from there!!!!!!
The pizza is yummy and the individual slices are really big in my opinion it's the best in Chicago
Garbage. Old pizza, Cashier puts hands all over food. And its not good
My boyfriend and I went in there for a slice of pepperoni pizza which wasn t going to be ready for another 20 minutes. We said okay and just agreed to get a slice that was already ready. We also ordered fries and the wait was 5-7, but we didn t get them until 45 minutes later. We continued to ask the server at the front if she could check on our fries and she never did. She was focused on taking customers order so we weren t able to get our fries until everyone s order had been taken (about 20 people). Also, those 20 people received their food before us. Very disappointed
I found a plastic thing in my fettuccine Alfredo Pasta, the delivery guy was rude and I had to go look for him never arrived at my home. I feel disappointed. Please fix this problems so other can enjoy their meal.
Good and affordable pizza. The portions are large and slice is enough to fill me up. I strongly recommend the cannoli and they have some good salad too!
Won't be reordering from this location again. Placed order for med pizza. Using Grub Hub item menu, also selected free 2 liter coupon free with $15+ order, as it applies. The expected delivery window came and went. We waited another 10 min and called. We were placed on hold and then were told that the delivery driver called (they didn't) and that they were told it would be picked up by us instead - on an order for which tip was given and delivery fee was applied! Then we are told that the pizza is at the location to "keep it warm." Then we are told that it will be sent out again, supposedly by a different driver. Received the pizza: no 2 liter and it's cold. AVOID THIS LOCATION unless you want to be a victim of gouging you for more money. Shady.
I always come here... it's now my go-to place. Staff are very friendly and welcoming, especially employees like Karla E. Recognizes me and knows my order, all while always being in a good mood and smiling. Love it!
I was highly disappointed. My Husband and I would visit frequently. He passed a 1 yr and 6 months ago, and I haven't been able to go to/order Rosati's ever since. I finally was able to do so. This is a choice i truly regret. My order was over an hr late, the food was cold and salty, the driver lied, the manager was disrespectful, and most importantly my feelings were hurt. It took a long time for me to build the strength to just place a delivery order (I stiil am not ready to go in the store), and I can't believe how I was treated. I don't want anything to do with Rosati's after this incident.
Horrible place. Long delivery waits. And they hung up on us when placing a delivery order. They put us on hold, finally answered, and then hung up. Never ordering from here again. Such a shame because we used to order here a lot. Never again.
