This is the best place for when you're in the mood for anything with chicken (they have other good stuff too). The chicken pot pie is the absolute best and the pistachios take it over the top!

We liked this place for their chicken dishes, and our server was courteous. The dinning room has modern, industrial flair. Their daily special was huge and we ended up bringing the rest home ( chicken waffle). The only food we got that we weren't crazy about was the winter parsnip - a bit too raw/tough to eat.

Simply put this place has the best food in the greater Hartford area. Fresh farm to table dining with a a great selection craft beers.

The chicken and waffles were AMAZING. Southern approved. It was a huge offering. Good coffee and the Lewbowski was a good start. I recommend the bloody marry as well. Excellent service. I go once a month if not more. If you want a good group spot, or a place to bring a book and solo dine, this is it. Also picture is the peanut butter toast and the eggs Benedict.

Been coming here for almost a year. Never had a bad experience. Literally never. Food is always perfect, staff is always engaged and attentive...I could go on and on. If you haven't tried Rooster, YOU'RE MISSING OUT!

My husband loved the chicken and waffle. O got the breakfast burger, egg whites were runny, burger tasted OK. Thought it was overpriced .

Nice, upscale bar and grill atmosphere with a full service bar and table seating, plus a private room for events. The food was very good and though, as the name implies, they have a meat-heavy menu, there are still plenty of options available for vegetarian types. The Mac and cheese was incredible, by the way.

Great food. Went there for Easter brunch, had the biscuits and gravy. Very good. Wife and I ordered bloody Marys - not the best I've ever had, I probably won't order one of those again. Great service, great atmosphere and reasonable prices. I'd go back there for sure.

The meal was overall pretty good, but the roasted chicken we both had was so incredibly salty that we couldn't eat it, even after taking the skin off. We love salty food, but it was just way too much.

Wonderful atmosphere here! The food was AMAZING. I highly recommend their chicken swedish meatballs, some of the best I've had. The prices are a little high, but totally worth it

Food was just ok, waitress needs to pay more attention and not get the order wrong. We felt like we were at a Boston Market Restaurant but a bit better but for way more money.

We celebrated our daughters 21st birthday here. It was so good. From chicken and waffles to roasted chicken to breakfast burger, all was great! Drinks equally as good as was the service. Nice place!

This was an EXPERIENCE! This was fine dinning flavors but on main street in Newington. They have roosters everywhere. Jay from Jay &silent bob would say they love the .....
Anyways we started with the pork belly starter, the bruschetta with peaches, and the chicken noodle soup. Right away you could taste the freshness everything smelled great. This meal was pleasing on the eyes as well as the nose so it awakened our pallets and as we started to taste, we wanted to try more and they delivered. There were flavors and textures that we weren't quite prepared for and the dichotomy of hot and cold crunchy and soft salty and savory. Again I cannot stress to you how flavorful everything was and how great this was.
We then split a chef's plate which had griveness and fried dark and rotisserie White. They took the chicken skin and fried to perfection, like bacon except from chicken.

Brunch here is fantastic. Try the piggy smalls omelet or the chicken and waffles.

Rooster Co. is a gem in the middle of Newington! We can t believe we haven t reviewed it before!! To start our server Andrea was outstanding, and one of the most attentive servers with a great attention to detail. Their chicken Swedish meatballs are a wonderful light bite to start. Their lazy half chicken is always cooked to perfection and their sauces decadent, our personal favorites are the garlic Parmesan and cola barbecue. The truffle Mac and cheese is not to be missed. Highly recommend!!

This place is just average and alittle pricy for chicken.. the waiter seemed bothered by us asking questions about the menu and wasn't very helpful. It was a slow off time and service was still pretty slow. If you love chicken you may like this place better than I did.

Dinner is fantastic always. It s always busy not not generally a wait which is great. Came for brunch today and it was good. Not spectacular. $4 to add one egg to a meal, that s half the price of a two egg brunch with home fries and toast. Requested crispy home fries but got Luke warm soft ones. Be sure to be adamant about any changes and you should be solid here. We will be back, probably for dinner or lunch.

Best rotisserie chicken around. The truffle Mac and cheese is also delicious. A must try for anyone that enjoys either of those items. You can even order a whole rotisserie chicken if you want. I hear the Sunday brunch chicken and waffles are amazing too.

Had a nice time at the Rooster Company in Newington, Ct. ordered a gluten free version of Cavatelli, with pak choi, speck prosciutto, mushrooms, roasted peppers and toasted garlic. Very yummy and well prepared dish. Vegetables were prepared aldente and the butter Sauce and cheese were a great combination. Definitely worth a try and a great reason to come back again soon. Ambiance in the restaurant was great, busy, but not too loud and on Thursday night there were plenty of seats.

My husband ordered macaroni and cheese and arugula salad. He really enjoyed both. The best part of course, was the brownie. Comes with ice cream and some kind of chocolate biscuits. Definitely a size to share if you're full.. but can be yours if you have a huge sweet tooth.

Nice place. Sat at the bar and server was very pleasant and attentive. Food was okay. Nothing extra special. Food was hot and attractively placed on the plate. Excellent dessert. Potato chip brownie with ice.cream and caramel sauce.

Food is okay, but considering the prices I have never been wowed by anything in my several visits here. Barstaff are friendly and helpful.

Was back for another hockey tournament and stopped by for dinner with the kids. Great healthy alternatives to choose from. The Brussel sprouts were absolutely amazing! (And the kids enjoyed them too...) Creative eclectic menu with many different options to choose from. Beware parking can be difficult to find - but worth the journey. Will be back again when in the area.

I've been there about once a month. Always very good food, really excellent cocktails. Every pork dish I have tried there (and I think I've had them all) has been out of this world.

I read at Hartford courant it's a very good restaurant.

Food was good. They only serve brunch one day a week though and that isn't stated anywhere.

I absolutely live the "Farm to Table" menu! It is very important to me that my food travels very little distance to the table! The atmosphere was great! Our waitress was very personable! The food was fresh and delicious! I can't wait to try them for breakfast and lunch!

The kale salad with goat cheese, beets, and what tasted like a spicy mustard balsamic was delicious and fairly priced for farm to table. Also ordered a 1/2 rotisserie roasted chicken which was nicely cooked. Tried the sampling of sauces for the chicken, which it did not need. Can't wait to try more of the menu. Looking for an excuse to bring friends here.

Phenomenal chicken and drinks. The waffles and my crossaintwich were just OK.

The food was excellent. Rotisserie chicken was served with a walnut sauce and it was a nice combo. Would have been 5 stars but the wait staff was slow getting to our table several times and it wasnt that busy. Wait staff was very receptive and nice though.

Had dinner here last night. Only complaint was we had made a reservation for 8 ppl and they didn't have any record of it, but were able to seat us anyways within 5 minutes. Other than that, food was great - split a whole chicken and a couple sides with my gf and it was all delicious. Service was great too.

There isn't a bad item on the menu. We have been there on multiple occasions and each time we order something different. Being a rooster place I didn't expect much from the lasagna but wow, just wow, I couldn't get more from my grandmother's secret recipe... If she had one... I love the ever changing menu and the daily specials. Think the fruit loop cheesecake sounds disgusting? Think again. I don't do desserts, my wife does. She ordered this and didn't get much of it because it came with two spoons. The staff is attentive and very nice. Try this restaurant and order anything you wouldn't usually, you will be pleasantly surprised.

This place is our local pub. We always end up here because of the amazing dinner and beer selection. Truffle Mac and cheese is the bomb! We aren't huge brunchers so the extended brunch hours on the weekend are slightly inconvenient for those times we want to stop in for a burger. Other than that this place is perfect.

I have only been once and have not tried everything, but the chicken is amazing, as are the sauces. Cola bbq especially. The staff was attentive and helpful, correcting a mistake in an order and offering us some extra rolls as apology. Looking forward to my next visit.

Visited restaurant a couple of times. Not very noticible from the street. My first visit is a blur, but the food and deserts for our friend's 50th birthday gathering in December was very good.

Chicken wings rock. The bartender is super nice and knowledgeable. Great boubon selection!

Best restaurant and best staff in connecticut period.

Food was alright. Like the space and location. We came for breakfast and have to say the place fills up fast and food came out in record time. My only grip was I think they cooked something with cinnamon right before because my eggs Benedict had that flavor which was strange. Otherwise flavor of the rest was good once I got past the bites that tasted like that lol. Bloody Mary was lack luster and waitress apparently gave us someone else's check so they had to recharge our cards for the correct info...glad I tried it but definitely not a go to place due to the overall experience

The food is pretty good. Really really noisy when the house is full though.

This restaurant is brilliant. You can tell the Rooster puts so much effort into their food, and the food is delicious. Definitely recommend!

Drinks we're good, environment was nice. Cheese platter was way over priced for what it was even though it was pretty tasty. All and all not bad!
