Although the property is aging, it is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. Everything about it was top notch. We were lucky enough to be a Hilton Diamond member at that time and got to spend an afternoon in the Imperial Club. It was an amazing way to relax after spending weeks traveling across Europe.

One of the best hotels in the world. Amazing views. Amazing food. Amazing atmosphere. The staff here are the best. I have loyalty status with all major hotel chains but at Rome Cavalieri they make me appreciate my diamond status with Hilton more than any other chain. Staying here will give you a different expericne of Rome. If you are not sleeping there, then it is highly recommended to at least go for dinner

Top of the hill overlooking the whole city! Large room with huge bathroom and comfortable bed. Friendly staff with impeccable service. The property is absolutely beautiful, as long as you understand it is away from the city center and it is a 15 euro cab ride or free shuttle if you can wait to get to city center. Furnishing is amazing with 17/18 century paintings everywhere. Oh, less i forget, go have breakfast by the pool, it is sort of pricey i think 38 euro per person but the best anywhere and i am from Las vegas so i have seen expensive restaurants by the hundreds. Let me give you one example how much they pay attention to food. For honey, you don't get it in a dispenser or a plastic tub with tear off top, you get a real honey comb dripping fresh honey into a bowl! to me that is the definition of over the top!

The hotel is certainly a luxury hotel of top comfort and quality. Both the room and the reception area where very comfortable and had all things that were needed, so despite having forgotten our toiletries bag, we didn't need anything, they even gave us toothpaste and toothbrush on request. Everyone was polite and welcoming, however I must say that a couple of small things surprised me, for example we asked for a baby cot, and at reception they knew we had asked for it, however arriving at the room we didn't find it. We had to ask for it again, and we got it only much later when we got back in the evening. Also we couldn't open the water bottles because there was no bottle opener! These are small things sure, but for this class of hotel it's the small things, the attention to detail that really matters, in the end I felt I wasn't taken care of and was dissapointed because of this. In the restaurant we ate really well, and it's a must if you're staying at the hotel. Even if we didn't eat at the pergola, the food was both creative and incredibly tasty. The terrace, garden and pool of the hotel was very pleasant to stay in. Overall we enjoyed our stay, and a hope it can pay more attention to detail in the future. At this level even small things matter!

Liked it better as a Hilton about a decade ago. Very expensive, possibly exploiting the isolation in terms of bars and restaurants. If returning to Rome I would book something in or closer to the city centre.

Absolutely the best hotel service ever. My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights and were greeted by Claudia and Giuzia upon arrival. These two ladies understand customer service and went above and beyond on every request.
Our experience from the moment we arrived until our departure was truly first class service. Our room and view of the City was breath taking, The food, the atmosphere was by far top notch.
I never write reviews but this hotel and the entire staff deserve a 5 star rating. "Thanks again from Canada"

We had a perfect stay at this hotel. The always friendly and attentive staff read your every wish from your lips. The rooms are spacious. The view of Rome is breathtaking. The pool area is lovely. The only thing that bothers me, is what bothers me about nearly all five star hotels (and therefore does not imply a loss of a star): the prices for every beer, every packet of nuts or a spa treatment are not expensive, they are absurd. I have never understood why hotels feel they want to rip off their customers for every Euro during their stay. Wealthy people also prefer to pay civil prices for normal goods

Absolutely phenomenal stay, every attention to detail is there, the rooms are immaculate and I recommend ordering a couple pillows to find the right one. Spa is 5 star and food as well. A bit out of the way but the shuttle runs very consistently and taxis are always available.

I've been there for a congress, nothing to complain about. I did not stay, so I can not give opinions about. The general atmosphere, considering that it should be among the best ever, didn't particularly hit me and I don't think I would want to choose it even if I had the opportunity.

This is one hotel you don t forget when you ve stayed in Rome. Although the location is OUTSIDE the city , it makes it a great retreat especially during the afternoon in summer when shops and attractions close down . The pools and amenities are top notch. We had reservations at a hotel without a pool and quickly made the move here without regret . The price for the stay was good considering they take Hilton honors. Food in both restaurants was wonderful . If you are looking for a self contained resort but want to take jaunts or very little sight seeing this is perfect .

Beautiful resort on a hill overlooking Rome. The pool is a welcome respite in the heat of August. Good service and selection of food and drinks. The prices are, however, on the steep side!

A lot of smoke, little roast! Triple room, booked 6 months ago: on our arrival they say they have a double. Denied by our documentation, they add a third bed, with a double deck folded in 2, amassing the seats (not reviewing the price). There is not even a kettle. In the bathroom there is the equipment for a single person: even if you can share the only vial of bubble bath, it is not the same for the bathing cap and the soap! Bathrobes and slippers remain 2. For what you pay, it's an insult! There is a beautiful view, but thanks to Rome, not the hotel!

Probably the best hotel I have ever stayed in. Rooms really nice, service great and super facilities. Has a free shuttle bus service to the city centre running regularly throughout the day. Only down point is the cost of food & beverage, but it's Rome and a top class hotel so only to be expected. Would return again, if in Rome.

They welcomed us with their friendly staff. They made us very happy with their beautiful surprises. The room we stayed in was not in the luxury room category but was extremely comfortable and convenient.

Atop a prominent hill overlooking the beautiful city of Roma, the Cavalieri sits perched, accessible as much as it is secluded. This wonderful hotel is partnered with Hilton Grand Vacation, which with a membership costs a good hefty amount of points, but it is well worth it. Amenities in hotels are usually the best part, and with this location, it is no different. To enjoy Rome you'll need money and to enjoy anywhere toward you travel, you'll need to invest in where you are staying. VIP room for members grants free snacks and free drinks--if you are American, or have a big stomach, you may need a few plates to fill yourself up, but they don't necessarily skimp you out. The breakfast buffet is cooked to perfection and vastly varied as opposed to some other buffets you might find in other parts of Europe. An Olympic-sized pool, an inclusive gym (kg weights mind you), free Wi-Fi for all, and an underground spa. The rooms are equipped with some of the finest linen beds and plenty of space to relax and unwind in front of a view that's spectacular in whichever room you stay (little fun fact: there are day-blinds that automatically drape the large windows). Some might be thrown off by daily maintenance, but it's a hotel after all. Always improving, and it won't get in the way of your stay. The service is impeccable and never fails to meet every standard of expectations. If all that doesn't impress you, a simply gallery of their decorum will. Beautiful marble, gold trims, and polished ceilings galore. A definite plus: the hotel is less than ten minutes from the inner city of Rome and you can walk just about anywhere you'd like for a dinner out in one of the small restaurants that welcome the crowd at 10pm. If it's luxury you're after, the Cavalieri is an option well regarded in the top three.

The hotel is beautiful, with great views and full of artworks. The rooms are very spacious and furnished with luxurious interiors. Definitely one of the best 5 star hotels in Rome. Highly recommended

If I could give this place half a star I would ! Worst luxury hotel to visit ! Especially if your a tourist ! Staff is rude and it s a very uncomfortable feeling, you would think they would be friendly to foreigners being that 80%-90% of their customers are travelers but no ! There s better options out there do not waste your time or money ! Let me share some insight about my experience here,
On the day of Arrival our flight was early, check is until 3pm we arrived at 9am this is totally understandable, we asked if we could pay to check in early without even looking staff said no we are entirely full, ok no worries ( we arrived on a Tuesday and lobby was empty ) about an hour later a couple walked in same situation and they were told the same thing , couple sat right next to us , 5 minutes later staff approaches couple and says your room is ready, hmmm ok (made me wonder if it s because we indeed look like foreigners) we made no fuss just looked in the direction of the staff and smiled I assume they felt that we caught that and 10 minutes later our room was ready .....
We put our stuff down went for breakfast where the host said they had no tables available inside I asked how long is the wait she had us follow her and made us stand there in front of a dirty table and said we will get this cleaned and ready for you , I was confused as I looked around and saw plenty of empty tables ! I said excuse me why can t we sit there ? She smiled and said oh yes of course go ahead... ummm ok so you wanted us to stand and watch you clean a table when there s empty tables ??? ,other guest just starred at us it was embarrassing!,even worse the food was cold and on the second day we noticed the food is exactly the same ... meaning this food is majority frozen food ... and buffet is 25$per person .. we have stayed at some of the most luxurious hotels and there s always same food but usually the main courses are different , not here everything is the same everyday...
next car services every time we asked they didn t have any vehicles available...How ???? This is a 5 star hotel worst part is they wouldn t even look at their screen it was always a quick no reply .. after this we realized we where not going to get the service we payed for and began to use other resources rented a car , had our meals out of the hotel , this wasn t such an issue but can be more costly .. I wish the staff understood that travelers and foreigners are what keep hotels like this in business ! It s already expensive to travel and if people are willing to pay almost 500$ a night they should get their money s worth , once we explored Rome more we realized there s so many nice hotels we could of stayed at with a better price closer to the main attractions... please do your research and do not be drawn to this hotel because of the nice pictures ... it s all fluff , staff is rude and snobby and they are not traveler/foreigner friendly !!! Food is cold even complimentary coffee is cold, very very disappointed where you chose to stay when traveling has a huge affect on your experience as it sets the vibe , we where fortunate to have the financials to manage by renting a car and be able to change the course of our experience but that may not be the case for everyone. Enjoy your travels and seek a better hotel also we stayed here for 4 days and we regret it very much ...

We were lucky that there was a large conference while we were here and so we were upgraded twice. Once when we checked in and then while waiting for our room they upgraded us again. End result was we were in the penthouse suite. Amazing property and amazing staff. Everyone we have had cause to interact with has been friendly, nice and helpful. They truely make you feel welcome. The pool and spa area are wonderful. We had access to the Imperial Club and that is an amazing executive lounge. Food offerings change 5 times through the day and are beautifully presented. The whole property has art and fine furniture throughout.

Had dinner at LaPergola...exquisite! What a phenomenal culinary experience. The dishes were all incredible and led from one dish to the next perfectly as they should. If you are in Rome, this is a must have dinner!

The place is nicely made. The staff was very accommodating and helpful, we stayed for 2 nights and did not like the service on the first day. The staff was rude and served us as they were doing a favor but on the second day the new staff was the best service we had in whole of Italy. The Over rooms were nice. Although paying for the use of Swimming Pool was a little put off.

One of the best hotels in Rome, immense in an elevated position with a view over the whole city! Luxury cleanliness and absolute professionalism! Restaurant among the best in the whole city. Unique neo, slightly off-center from the city center

I loved the room we stayed in. Our view was the great. The room service overcharged our meal and I don't feel it was an error. In all of Italy visitors have to watch their money! !! Room service did credit our bill but nothing extra was offered to make us smile.

The best sleep ever! The privacy door and the black out windows are fab! Oh and the spa is not to be missed. We will talk about our stay here and our dinner at La Pergola for years to come. VIP all the way.
