Nice place to see patients in the very spacious center room. Two bars( I was seeing patients so did not attend the bar areas, just a description.) Several pool tables and dart boards. Plus a very equipped kitchen. Would be great place for celebration party's or just a watering hole.

Aside from all the good works that the Loyal Order of Moose performs, the Moose also offers everyone the opportunity to participate in a variety of activities. For me, I enjoy dancing and they offer two floors and one is a rather large Ballroom size floor for those of us who take ballroom dancing lessons. The Moose is like comfort food. It is just a nice relaxing place to go meet nice people where you can eat, drink and dance, play games, take dancing lessons etc. and socialize in harmony.
There is no pressure to join and you can still enjoy the festivities that are provided weekly.
Prices are very reasonable which suits a generally older crowd quite nicely. Out of town guests or in town regulars, all are welcome. Come join us!

This is a terrific venue for receptions, dances, parties. There is a large dance floor and stage in the ballroom, and a small dance floor in the lounge area. One of the largest Moose Lodges in Kentucky, with 2 bars, dining room, Kids Room, Pool Tables, Horseshoe Pits, Corn Hole, Dart Boards, Card Room, Lounge and Ballroom. Members are very friendly, and welcoming. Trivia Night is a blast, as well as top notch Karaoke Nights. Live bands weekly, card games, sports, etc. This lodge hosts many fundraising events for local charities, as well as Moose Charities.

Tuesday night dances Wednesday night dances and often a Saturday and Sunday night dance. However these dances are full of the older crowd. If you want to learn swing dancing or you are 50-70 this is the place. If you are 20-40 you may find yourself dancing with much older people. Most of the remainder of the building is for the Moose lodge but the dance floor draws a lot of people for the scheduled dances. Snacks and drinks are available during the dances. The crowds seem to number about 100-200 people during the dances but special dances will fill up the room.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. This place is cliquey, and most everyone is rude to new members, some have requested this lodge stop taking new members.
I regret spending my money to become a member of this lodge.

STAY CLEAR OF THIS PLACE

Very nice large venue with plenty of on-site parking.

An organization I belong to has been renting the Moose Lodge 5 Ballroom twice a year since 2015. They have been excellent hosts and worked with us to accommodate our needs.

The Ballroom in total is around 8,900 square feet plus a stage and has a newer dance floor. The dance floor is quite large. The rest of the room is carpeted. They also rent their Dining Room for smaller events.

You may not know that the Loyal Order of Moose was founded in Louisville in 1888 by Dr. John Henry Wilson.
